Wonderful 4 night safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru
We booked 3 nights at Losokwan tented camp in the Lemek conservancy (Masai Mara) then one night at Lake Nakuru Lodge in Nakuru NP.
The drive from Nairobi is 5 hours which seems daunting but is an experience in itself and flies by - it is a good way to see some of the country and the alternative is to fly in to an airstrip in the parks which seems a shame to miss seeing Kenya.
The three nights at Losokwan were really luxurious with attentive staff, lovely tents and great food plus the Lemek conservancy was probably our best place for spotting game. It is a small camp (6 tents) and felt exclusive, animals can wander through at any time so you have full immersion in nature (staff escort you to and from your tent). When you leave Lemek to get to the start of the Masai Mara NP it is a long-ish drive along a bad road but that is more than made up for by the Lemek conservancy where we saw 3 generations of lions eating a kill, 2 leopards, elephant, hippos, hyena, jackals, wildebeest and so much other game. (In the conservancy, we could go off the tracks and get closer to the animals which is not allowed inside the NPs)
Inside the MM NP we saw lots of amazing game such as cheetah, hippo, buffalo and antelope.
Lake Nakuru Lodge was a much larger hotel inside the NP which makes for a less intimate feeling but you have more facilities and we liked it. (Gift shop very reasonably priced btw) We were given rooms with lovely view over the park and lake; make sure you request those. Buffets varied and catered for all tastes. Here we could drive immediately into the park and we saw rhino, leopard, Rothschild giraffe, water buck, fish eagle and flamingos. It was breathtaking.
We chose a pop-up minivan instead of a jeep which has advantages and disadvantages; the minivans are more comfortable and you can stand up and be higher up than in a jeep but the minivan is slower on bad roads and you get shaken around more. Take warm clothes for the early morning starts in August plus decent binos and cameras.
Imelda at the Dream Africa's office was very helpful and communicative both before and during our trip eg with dietary requirements (veggie and gluten free were no problem), room requests etc.
Our guide Mo was just perfect, he made the trip for us and is such a nice guy. He found all the game, he was very well informed on all the birds, trees and animals and looked after us perfectly. He is super competent but very relaxed and he still gets excited when he finds leopards and cheetah.
We would highly recommend Dream Africa and especially Mo to anyone.

Highly recommended trip and tour operator
Fantastic 18-day tour across Uganda (Jinja, Sipi falls, Karamoja, Kidepo VNP, Murchison Falls NP, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Mgahinga, Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mburo).
Uganda is not only gorilla trekking (although truly a magic experience) but also culture, breathtaking landscapes of lush vegetation and wide variety of wildlife.
The itinerary was perfectly customised to my personal (photographic) interests by the tour consultant Annette T., who promptly answered all my questions during the planning phase and assisted me throughout the trip (in particular, speaking with the Lost&found office of Entebbe airport and personally rescuing my lost luggage).
A mention to the driver Jamal, who was always kind and reliable despite the long -and sometimes difficult- road, and who easily managed to make ongoing modifications to some activities.
I strongly recommend this tour operator!

A trip we will never forget, thanks to Reggie
We stayed for two weeks in Tanzania and got to see the amazing nature, animals and culture of the people. Our guide Reggie knew so much about the country, the way animals live, how the ecosystems work and so much more. His knowledge and passion made us feel so engaged with the country. Tanzania has a special place in our hearts and Gladiola and our amazing guide made this happen. Thank you.

Amazing Family Holiday in Kenya
Thanks to Trav-Interactive we spent two amazing weeks in Kenya. David was great, listening to what we wanted and respecting our budget. He put together a fabulous program which included a ten days safari in four different parks, and then a few days at the beach in Diani to finish up. The various lodges were fun, comfortable and all different. Our driver/guide Carlos was professional and knowledgable. All in all a great trip with memories to last a lifetime.

Wonderful safari
Thanks to Erasto, Adam and Alfa from Lomo Tanzania Safari for the wonderful journey
We spent 9 days together visiting Tarangire, NgoroNgoro, North and Central Serengeti parks.
We saw wildebeest migration across the Mara River and lots of wild animals: zebras, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, lions and lionesses, monkeys, hippos and wonderful birds and enjoyed a multitude of beautiful situations, from picnics in the heart of the nature, in the endless plains of the Serengeti, to pleasant evenings in tented camps.
Every day we appreciated the competence, kindness and customer attention that our guides dedicated to us
We highly recommend Lomo Tanzania Safaris.
Asante sana Erasto, Adam and Alfa.

Mugisha was a very kind, professional, informative and respectful tour guide.
We had the experience of a lifetime with Mugisha on the Akagera Safari. We started out with the most incredible breakfast that was completely unexpected. Then on to the safari. Mugisha was amazing at helping us spot all of our favourite animals. Of the Rwanda 'big 5', we saw 3 up close. It was such a hot day the cats (lion and leopard) were somewhere hiding in the shade. But that's OK because we saw so much more. Mugisha was an amazing driver on the very bumpy (but fun!) roads. Lunch was another unexpected surprise at a lovely 'cafe' overlooking a lake. Perfect. The vehicle was so much fun with the pop-up roof and we were able to spot a lot of animals. I would highly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris. The communication beforehand and afterwards was fantastic. Frank, the owner, was very quick to respond to all of my queries.
We hope to return to Rwanda in the near future and will definitely book a Gorilla Trek with Golden Safaris. Thank you to Mugisha and Frank.

Helpful, flexible, responsive, thoughtful and creative
Petra at Nature Travel Namibia was an excellent tour architect for us. She was always considering our multiple idiosyncrasies and working out ways to accommodate despite us not leaving her much time with availability etc. She worked hard to piece together an excellent itinerary which came off perfectly, thanks to the amazing guiding of Wilson. Together they were a very impressive combination which resulted in a truly fantastic holiday. Thanks to you both!!

Experience because of experience
Fantastic pre safari communication from Paul the CEO. He also came to meet us in Arusha at the end and it was great to hear and see how a local entrepreneur is challenging the more capitalised big operators.
The safari was brilliant - we have been to SA Malawi Bots Zim Zak Moz on safari and Walter our guide was as knowledgeable and experienced as anyone we’d met before. He was ex A&K and been guiding for over 20 years. Walter took us on the less chaotic paths away from the big crowds in both the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. This meant we had better sightings with fewer vehicles and once watched a cheetah mother with her five cubs on our own. He also managed to get us a sighting of the illusive Black Rhino!!! I would heartily recommend using this firm as they know the local ground and will show you a more authentic Tanzania. Some of the other firms like Tanzania Specialist and Savannah Explorers don’t try to find any sightings themselves rather they drive as fast as they can to find the next group of jeeps to find out what they are looking at resulting in overcrowding and noisy and busy sightings and their guides are clearly less experienced and understanding of being part of nature as opposed to interfering with it. If you want to see Tanzania I’d always use Tanzania Roadside Expeditions.
