A brilliant family trip of a lifetime
From my initial telephone conversation with Thea until my follow up call with Carmen when we arrived back home the experience and organisation was outstanding. Definitely the best family trip we’ve ever had and the organisation and communication from the wayfairer team was second to none. Heartily recommend!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
Our entire experience with Tammy Tours was wonderful, from start to finish. We had an unusual itinerary in mind, and Tunu worked with us to make sure that we were able to see everything on our list, including a Samburu market and village. Although the driving hours were very long, Alfa and Shadrach were always enthusiastic and happy to take us where we needed to go. We were pleasantly surprised that Tunu made the long trip from Mombasa to Nairobi to meet us at the beginning of our safari, and she also accompanied us for the Amboseli portion of the trip at the end. The animals were amazing, and we were very lucky to have seen the big five, including the very elusive leopard. I believe the thing that stood out the most about Tammy Tours was Tunu's constant communication with us, and her willingness to answer all of our questions before and during the trip. Her personal service was what made us pick Tammy Tours and we were not disappointed.

8days safari with Karibu
We (couple) booked 8 days safari with Karibu. Communication was very easy, Robert from office answered all the questions quickly (same day within a couple of hours). It's an affordable budget safari and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The accommodations are basic but fit to the purpose. Karibu offered to upgrade the camps so if you like you can pay more for better quality. I found this system very flexible and their way of working is really effective. The drivers are friendly however sometimes you have to ask them to inform you and/or tell more about the parks and wildlife. Overall it's a beautiful experience and well worth the money paid for 8 days. Additionally we booked 1 day to visit Nairobi national park, Sheldrick orphanage and giraffe center. I highly recommend this company!

They provided a first rate experience in planning for our needs and giving us what we wanted.
I can't say enough good things about African Ubuntu Safaris. They knew the right people and the right places which
gave us a fabulous experience on our trip. The ability to connect us with wonderful "handlers" who picked us up
and transported us to our next destination was flawless. I'm sure that this skill takes a lot of "behind the scenes"
attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for anyone looking for a quality African experience.

Epic and memorable for our entire family
Emma Perrin was passionate about making this an amazing adventure, and always available for consultations. I changed my mind many times, and each time she patiently walked me through the considerations. Her advice proved to be excellent in terms of the choice of lodges, duration of stay, pacing etc. She was so good I felt completely comfortable booking our Cape Town leg with the company too.
All the service staff we met were TOP notch. This is not an exaggeration. They had asked for food preferences, but what really impressed me what that they made huge efforts on a daily basis to cater to our needs. Frankly, we did not dare to expect such quality on safari.
The game drives were led by superb guides. We saw a lot and had a hard (but very enjoyable) time curating our photo album. In many ways, this experience surpassed every trip we’d made as a family.
I must also add that Ker & Downey has used technology to great effect. Tour iteranaries can be downloaded on an app. But even before that, the proposals were backed up by so much material available through a few clicks. The presentation was thoughtful and very attractive. They are way ahead of most tour Operators.
Finally, Alex Cloete gave excellent restaurant recommendations in Cape Town. We wished we had more meals to enjoy:)

Great safari with driver/guide on time who made great efforts to make our experience great
The operator gave a great service, responding promptly to messages, and was flexible for payment solution. Moreover, the trip was organized on short notice. The safari was very nice as we saw all types of game and our guide to the time so we could see the animals as much as we wanted. He was quit efficient in finding the game while Driving at the same time.

A Midsummer nights dream
Rose and the team at LSC have a very personal touch. The process of understanding my needs were seamless, non intrusive and explorative.
I set out wanting to see the migration in Kenya, last minute holiday plan with my daughter. She had graduated and was heading to College in Boston. Wanted to spend time with her. Knowing of all the contours of what we were looking to achieve , Rose suggested that we go to Zambia and patiently explained the pros and cons of Kenya and Zambia. We heeded her counsel on visiting Zambia and the camps to stay. Just like in the play "A Midsummer Nights dream" the fairies make light of love by mistaking the lovers and by applying a love potion to Titania's eyes, forcing her to fall in love with an ass , we fell in love with Zambia before we visited there. We weren't disappointed in any way, the gaming was brilliant, lions , leopards , elephants , giraffe, crocodile all in touching distance. We were so close to the crocodile while we canoed the river that it grunted aggressively. We had lunch with the elephants as they walked into the backyard of our Casia suite at Chongwee. The rangers were exceptional and wanted us to see everything the place has to offer and they went beyond to show us how to track and find the animals and tons of amazing details. While at Chongwee you have to ask about the termites, just to learn so much about life in the wild and how they coexist. We had tons of interesting stuff told to us. The birds were in plenty about 500 species. The food , the hospitality everything was world class. We felt welcome as they shared their life and their place with us. There is not enough words to describe how we felt there and how we felt while leaving. I guess you'll just have to go and find out. We fell in love with Zambia and stay in love. If there is a way to travel in Africa it is through LSC under Rose care.
