I have had the pleasure of going on safaris with Lance and kirstin from Panthera Photo Safaris.
They specialize in photographic trips for novice to expert level photography.
Lance is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of photography and ensures you get the best possible results.
We traveled to Mashatu game reserve and one of the highlights were the 3 hide sessions we booked. The hide is built for photographers and with Lance's tutoring with various camera techniques we got absolutely stunning photos.
Lance is very knowledgeable in all aspects of photography but also has an immense knowledge of all the wildlife and flora in the reserves from his guiding days.
Kirstin is a fabulous hostess ensuring you are always pampered and looked after so well. Nothing is too much trouble with Kirstin.
I have done several trips with Lance as my guide over the last 8 years.. including Okavango Delta, Chobe, Victoria Falls, and Zambezi river, Serengeti, Masai Mara and Sabi Sands.

Andre was incredible, very efficient and extremely knowledgeable!
This was a surprise weekend getaway to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary! Andre made all the arrangements for our weekend down to letting our lodge know it was our anniversary. The lodge spoilt us with a rose petal bubble bath and bubbles to drink there in-such fun!!

Absolutely the best operator in Tanzania!
I can unequivocally say that Aardvark Expeditions is the BEST Safari option money can buy! We just finished a 7 day safari with a group of 17 family members! The trip was absolutely amazing from the pick-up at the airport to the final dropoff! The guides (Moses, Uriel, Brayson) were fantastic guides. They were super friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their knowledge extended much beyond the wildlife and included geology, history and politics. All three of them spoke fantastic English. They were SUPER patient with our group of 17 which included 9 kids! I am convinced these guys are some of the safest drivers in Tanzania! Many of the other tour companies had drivers that were clearly driving way too fast and out of control. We saw the ENTIRE big 5 including multiple leopards, hunting cheetahs, and even 4 Black Rhinos! Before I booked with Philemon , I researched many tour companies and got quotes from at least 5 different companies. The price was unbeatable compared to the US and European based travel agents that apparently DOUBLE the price of the tour for their commission. The booking process was super easy! The lodges we stayed at were top tier lodges with unbelievable service, food, professionalism and views! We stayed at Mawe Mawe, Embalakai, Rhino Lodge, And Marera Valley Lodge. I want to personally thank Philemon and the Aardvark team for the most fantastic family trip of a lifetime!

Amazing
Our safari to Tsavo East was fantastic from start finish. The national park is huge and full of animals. The lodge where we spend the night was also great, with friendly staff, good food and nice accommodation. You could even watch animals coming to the watering hole while having your dinner!

Excellent!
We met Lance and Kirstin at Tswalu Kalahari in July 2016. Lance was our guide and his enthusiasm on the truck was contagious. Also, as a photographer he knew exactly where to park for us to get great photos and went the extra mile to get us memorable, rare sightings (2 pangolin, aardvark and aardwolf on 1 drive!!).
His knowledge of the wildlife and the area was outstanding too. Since 2016, we’ve become good friends and have even had him join us at &Beyond Ngala Tented Camp for an afternoon.
He and Kirstin are a down to earth, hardworking, fun, and honest couple who love wildlife and giving people the greatest experience possible. We look forward to spending time with them again in the bush very soon.

Excellent and highly reccomended!
We had a 2-day private safari at the Mara. Our guide, Albert, was nothing but fantastic. His calmness and knowledge about the park and animals made the trip perfect, and his punctuality was highly appreciated. The food and staff were also great. We can not reccomend lenchada enough for what was a great trip.
