Great tour operator and guides, they provided everything they promised and more
5/5

After extensive research we booked a custom two-week tour of Rwanda and Uganda with Home to Africa. We have been to Africa many times, including a number of self-driving trips, but decided that it made more sense to do a guided tour.

Happily, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Home to Africa. Everything was well-organized, the driver/guides were great and the accommodations were first rate, even though this was billed as a budget/mid-range trip.

Our trip started in Kigali, Rwanda, where we were picked up at the airport by our driver, Ben. The next day we made the long drive to Nyungwe National Park. The following day we did the chimp tracking. Unfortunately, Joanne fell and hurt her wrist, so Ben took us to a hospital to get an X-ray. Apparently, it was not broken, but did prevent us from doing the next day's long hike up Mt. Bisoke. Ben was great in coming up with alternative activities for the day, at no additional cost, so the day was not wasted.

After we visited the golden monkeys (well worth it), Ben drove us to the border of Uganda where we were waved through without even having to show our passports. We met Eli, our new driver, and transferred our luggage. In Uganda they drive on the left, whereas in Rwanda it's on the right.

In Uganda we did many of the popular activities, beginning with the mandatory gorilla tracking in Bwindi and including Queen Elizabeth NP, the Kazinga Channel, Kibale Forest, Murchison Falls NP and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. All were very worthwhile and each lodge seemed better than the one before. On the last evening Eli arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered to our table for Joanne's birthday, complete with sparklers and the staff singing Happy Birthday. What a thoughtful surprise.

Thanks to everyone at Home to Africa for a great trip.

Tanzania with a Tanzanian
5/5

We had such a great time. We saw all the animals, stayed in lovely huts and enjoyed great food and hospitality.
Filbert really knows his stuff and has a sixth sense for knowing where to find the action.
Can highly recommend.

The valeu for money is ok because there are many people involved.

I would like to suggest some snacks and hot drinks before starting the safaris.

Safari Dream Come True
5/5

Our 8-day safari experience in Kenya with Estleon Adventures was an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, every moment was filled with awe and excitement, with the incredible wildlife and landscapes.

First and foremost, our tour guide Isaack was exceptional. His passion for the wildlife (and he is a birder like my father!), his extensive knowledge about the local ecosystem, and his friendliness made our safari truly unforgettable. Isaack’s ability to spot animals from seemingly impossible distances was nothing short of astounding, and his knowledge about them enriched every sighting. He was patient with all our questions and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and engaged throughout the trip.

The itinerary crafted by Estleon Adventures was perfectly balanced, offering a diverse range of experiences that showcased the beauty of Kenya's national parks and reserves. From the majestic elephants roaming Amboseli to the thrilling sight of a lion pride in Maasai Mara, every moment was a highlight in its own right. The accommodations provided were not only luxurious and very comfortable but also immersed us in the heart of the wilderness, creating an authentic and unforgettable experience.

The attention to detail from Estleon Adventures was evident in every aspect of the safari. Our transportation was seamless, the meals were delicious and catered to various dietary needs (I am vegetarian), and the staff at every lodge were incredibly hospitable. The entire team's commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism was truly commendable, and the 5-star service made our journey even more unforgettable.

But it was Isaack who truly stole the show. His enthusiasm for sharing his love of the land and its inhabitants was infectious, and it's safe to say we left Kenya not only with incredible memories but also with a new appreciation for the delicate balance of nature. Isaack’s stories, his insights, and his genuine care for both his job and his guests made him the heart and soul of our safari.

Our first-time safari with Estleon Adventures exceeded all expectations. Thank you for orchestrating this remarkable experience. If you're considering a safari in Kenya, look no further – this is the team you want by your side.

Perfect trip. Amazing experience. Terrific service and great company
5/5

We've been in Tanzania for 4 days. We were a group of 14 family members (including kids and one handicap). We had 3 perfect guides. Michael, Nelson and Nuri did everything so we will have the perfect tour. They had a wide knowledge of the different animals in the safari. All 3 guide did everything in their power to make sure we will all have the best experience of Tanzania.
Michael (who drove me and my kids) did everything to make sure we will have a real safari experience. Michael knows his way in the different reserve we visited. We got to see lions, lioness, leopard, giraffe, elephants and more and more. Michael know all the animals, not only by name but also told us about their habits. We got a lot of information about Tanzania, geography, population, economy, religion and on and on.
We had an amazing experience and Michael was a great company. Also, Michael knows a lot of words in Hebrew and all the names of the animal in Hebrew and this was very useful for us as we did not recognize all the English names of the animal. wish we had few more days :-)
Thank you for everything.

A great trip with all the trimmings and as the name says "tailor-made"
5/5

We are back from our trip a week and a half and are still enjoying everything we have seen and experienced
The trip contained all the wishes we communicated about
The guesthouses and lodges were from good to very luxurious with good food and good service
Also the game drives were great with good guides who showed us all the animals on our list and told us a lot about them
We received an information book in advance with all addresses, information about country and customs, where we should be and nice advice about restaurants
Our adult daughters, who each had their own room or lodge, were also very enthusiastic about the accommodations and the trip
In short, this was the trip of a lifetime exactly as discussed only in superlative

First class touroperator
5/5

Thanks to Koen and Katja from Jadore Safari’s we had a fantastic trip! From the first contact we knew: this will work out! We first e-mailed back and forth and no question was too much for them. We also always received a quick answer. Because of the high season it was sometimes a bit puzzling to find available accommodation, but we managed to find it and all accommodation was fine. When one of the tent camps turned out to be destroyed by elephants, our fantastic guide Anwar arranged for us to be upgraded to a brand new camp, Nyota. Wow!
We have spotted loads of animals, big and small. We enjoyed a bush walk, a night safari and certainly also the walk with Koen and Katja in Kibola forest at the end.
Koen and Katja are wonderful people and very committed to their customers. They picked us up personally at the airport and we kept in touch throughout the trip via whatsapp. We also liked that they took the time to spend the last day in Arusha with us. We also enjoyed the lunch with the Belgian top chef Axel from Onsea House.
Because we enjoyed our first nights at Onsea House so much, we asked to cancel our last accommodation and replace it with one last night at Onsea House. Wasn't a problem again.
Our guide Anwar was also fantastic. Nothing was too much for him and he did everything to give us a wonderful experience.
We were really impressed by the nature of Lake Natron and had a good laugh when Anwar ventured into the river with the fish that tickled your toes.
Thank you Koen and Katja for the fantastic trip and keep up the good work!

Amazing
5/5

We just finished an amazing 3-day safari with Ozon Light Tours, exploring Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. It was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, PETER, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything – from birds and trees to animals and people. We even spotted 4 out of the Big 5! If you're planning a safari with Ozon Light Tours, make sure to ask for him as your guide. The safari vehicle was always clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, plus it was super comfy. I can't recommend Ozon Light Tours enough! Our group plans to return to Africa, and we'll definitely request PETER as our guide again!

Excellent

Embarking on a 9-day private trip to Uganda was an extraordinary adventure. From the breathtaking wildlife sightings to the awe-inspiring gorilla trekking in Bwindi, every moment was a thrill. The personalized experience with Private Trip Uganda made it all the more remarkable. Witnessing majestic lions, elephants, and hippos in their natural habitat was unforgettable. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the heart-pounding encounter with gorillas. The lush landscapes and warm hospitality of Uganda combined with Private Trip Uganda's impeccable service created a truly remarkable journey that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
