Excellent and understanding customer service & knowledgeable/experienced tour guide!
My father and I went to Tanzania for a 12 days safari with Tanzania Exclusive Journyeys. We were welcomed at the airport by Marc, who was going to be our guide and driver for the safari. First, we went to Lake Manyara, then to Nduto, followed by Central Serengeti, and ended the safari in Ngorongoro Crater. What a wonderful time!! We saw lots and lots of lions, several cheetahs (2 with small cubs), 2 leopards (both very close) and a black rhino. We even saw a cheetah take a gazelle and saw a 1-minute old wildebeest, still trying to be on its feet. Of course, we saw so many other animals, and thousands of wildebeest and zebras. The 12-days were perfectly managed, especially by our guide Marc and his colleague Steve (who arranged everything from the office). Marcfound a lot of animals, knows them all the by name and gives a lot of extra info. He drives very safely, he teaches you Swahili during the drive e.g. ‘poa kichizi kama ndizi kwenye friji;)’ and he has a good sense of humor. He was soon part of the family and we laughed a lot. He really made our vacation! When we come back, we will definitely ask Tanzania Exclusive Journeys and Marc as our guide again. Asante sana!

These guys are legit. My wife and I knew we were going on the adventure of a lifetime. We just didn’t know how easy it was going to be. TOHE took care of everything: lodging, meals, schedule, permits, etc. We just had to book our flights and show up. Upon our arrival, Richard was there waiting at the airport ready to explore Tanzania. I can’t recommend a better company to safari the Serengeti with. Our guide Richard was an expert in all wildlife. He knows when and where to find exactly what you’re looking for. Nothing is ever guaranteed when venturing out into the wild, but I can confirm during our 10-day safari we saw EVERYTHING (lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, rhinos, giraffes, dozens of bird species, a handful of monkeys, and so much more). You can truly feel the passion Richard has for Tanzania and his goal to show you how beautiful his country is. I understand a trip like this can be overwhelming. Believe me, it’s a lot to process at first but TOHE walked us through each item (necessary vaccines, documents, visas, etc.) to ensure we were comfortable with what to expect every step of the way. The Safari was great, the organization was amazing and the attention from the owner, the guide and the cook was incredible. I was in touch with Allan before i traveled because I had so many questions as it was my first safari and I was also traveling alone. He advised me which pack would be the best to see more animals during March and I booked a small group safari for 3 days in Serengeti and ngorongoro. When I reached Arusha he contacted me also to make sure everything was good and during the trip the guide and the cook took very good care of us and always letting us decide what we wanted to see, how long we wanted to stay in each place to watch the animals. We were always astonished about their good eyes which discovered the animals long time before us and able to answer our numerous questions regarding animals and culture. Also our cook Paul surprised us every day with delicious meals. I would book with them again and again. Their prices are the best online and in person compared to most companies. Im very happy i did the Safari with them.

Valens is a superstar!
Rwanda is a country that you can't help but fall in love with. The people are warm and friendly, the scenery is beautiful, and the food is delicious. Like any country, there are contrasts among the ways people live, and you will see a huge variety in the culture here.
Valens is a super cool guy who really knows his way around and can give you insight on what makes Rwanda special. His energy and upbeat nature make it easy to get settled into a new place--not to mention the fact that he knows where the best restaurants are! We spent about 2 weeks with Valens and I wouldn't trade a minute of it for anything! Next time I'm back in East Africa, Valens is my first call!

I truly enjoyed my African travel experience! The trip was simply amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire itinerary and team, but I want to specifically highlight James and Humala River Lodge for being my favorite experiences! I can't say enough about the entire experience and will definitely use Touch Down again when I return to Africa!

The best vacation of our life so far… we definitely do it again.
For so long we were looking on going on a vacation in Africa, we didn’t know exactly where to start but through a friend recommendation, who has already been in Africa recommended Sensation of Africa to us. We did a 12 days Safari where they helped us, with the whole planning until the last Safari package that we were all satisfied with a fair price. When we arrived in Tanzania and met them for the first time, we knew we were in good hands, they transferred us to a Hotel in Arusha and they did a briefing of the Safari to see if everything we requested was as it was planned before and yes everything was in place.
All of the 12 Days we stayed in Tanzania were amazing from the accommodations, the food, the Safari jeep and almost every day they would give us surprises such as sunset picnic set on the wild with a lot of drinks, a big thanks to our guide John who always made sure we were all fine and happy throughout the Safari.

Amazing experience in just two days!
Uwanda Tours and safaris and our guide William made our 2 day safari an amazing and unforgettable experience. Even though we came unprepared as this was unplanned trip to main land from Zanzibar, our guide did the best to make this experience unforgettable. Very professional guide helped us to not only during two days spot BIG 4 animals but also took good care about us! We had delicious lunch with the view! AMAZING loge place. We where very lucky! Excellent Kilimanjaro climbing Company by Uwanda Tours and Safaris
Uwanda tours & safaris ( owner Hassan) helped me with arranging the climb of mount Kilimanjaro through the Machame route. From the beginning until the end we were guided by professionals, guaranteeing a satisfactory and safe climb. We had daily health checks and the guides made sure that we drank 3 Liters of water every day and that we took our required medicines. The food and facilities during the climb were excellent. The guides takes additional oxygen with them to the top in case of emergency.

Safari business recommended by people living in Tanzania
I can wholeheartedly recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions Safaris. They came recommended by a friend who lives in Tanzania and everything went perfect. We did a 4-day Safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Paul, his team and our guide Ezekiel made everything perfect. At our first day in the Serengeti, we saw the big 5 with Ezekiel spotting a black rhino (most difficult to observe) where other cars had driven by. We had planned our trip for January 2021, then had to reschedule to July because of Covid, and Paul was very flexible regarding payment conditions and rescheduling. Hope 2022 will be a better year for you guys!

Uwanda Tours and Safaris Safari amaized us. Like its name, they did a wonderful tour services on our side, we didnt expect. Our host Hassan himself was very welcomming and humble, since he came to pick us from airport to the hotel. The guide was very ambitious to make sure that we are satisfied, it was our pleasure to meet Selous and Mikumi in only four days able to see all the amazing big five and witnessed.
It was INCREDIBLE SAFARI. We recommend it and rate it five stars.
