Adventure of a lifetime!
5/5

I'll start our review with this: if you book a safari through Spirit of Kenya, ask specifically for Thomas. I guarantee you he will exceed your expectations.

Okay to continue...

Our first safari in Kenya and what an experience!!! In the first two days we saw more than we could have ever wished for. And that's because of our amazing guide Thomas. There are no words that describe his professionalism, knowledge, kindness and he was just the perfect guide and should we ever come again one day, we will kindly ask for him again.

You name it, Thomas found it.

Lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffalos, elephants, hippos and I could go on and on... we also had a couple of specific requests and Thomas was more than willing to help us or to arrange those things for us. Like when we forgot our travel adapter in Naivasha and Thomas got us a spare one during his time off, he helped us getting Kenya shillings as souvenirs...

We always felt very safe during our stay. Our 8 days safari was one of the best experiences of our lives.

Thomas, Asante sana rafiki yangu.

Hope to see you again one day.

Photos from a smartphone, will add camera photos later on when we sort the 3 thousand photos

Wonderful company to deal with and tailored the 14 days just the way we envisaged.
5/5

14 day safari tour through Namibia and Botswana finishing up at Victoria Falls. We are four older Australians who embraced all that was on offer during the tour. Our guide and driver Joram was so easy to travel with and quickly understood what we liked to see and do. Having a great sense of humour was a bonus for us. The variety of experiences was surprising: Desert living tours, shipwrecks in the ocean, ancient rock art, Himba tribes, Etosha safaris, river cruises and so many animals to be seen.
Highlights:
Lions leaving the waterhole at sunrise.
White rhino drinking at waterhole and walking towards the vehicle.
Honey badger having a sand bath right near the edge of the road.
30 to 40 elephants of all sizes marching right past our vehicle when they left the waterhole.
Beautiful mirror image photography of giraffe, zebra, Impala.
Hyena bathing in the water.
Finally seeing a cheetah but no leopard.
So many birds to photograph.
Chobe River cruise so special as finally got to see so many hippos on land including babies.
Elephants crossing the water and seeing the baby trunks like snorkels following mum.
Victoria Falls was stunning.

Excellent accommodation at all the places we stayed: some being high end resort others being small very personalised hospitality. Each day was a pleasant surprise.

All four of us had a fantastic time and would love to explore other African places in the future.

The Absolute Best
5/5

Wow, Just wow, what an experience! My girlfriend and I had a 5 day tour of Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater for a much needed couple’s retreat and it was nothing short of spectacular. We enjoyed top game viewing experiences and stayed in paradisiacal resorts in the middle of the wilderness.
Our Amazing time in East Africa was made possible by our guide George and the whole Extreme wilderness team. From the moment we got picked up from the airport, we were met with a friendly smile and a spotless vehicle. George’s enthusiasm for Tanzania and the wild life was so contagious. His eyes light up whenever he talked about the flora, fauna and culture in and around this grandiose destinations we visited.
We saw so many animals and managed to spot the Big 5!! George answered every one of our questions, even the very stupid ones, imaculately and always with a smile. His time management was also unrivaled. He definitely went above and beyond for us to have the best experience possible and we are extremely thankful to him for giving us the best time we could have ever imagined. And to top it off, my luggage went missing at the airport and George worked, tirelessly, to track it down and have it returned to me. We will definitely be coming back and we will be recommending this to all of our friends!

An excellent operator with in-depth knowledge and experience of Africa.

Rob Morley and the team at Tailormade ensured we had a very special experience in order to celebrate a significant milestone birthday. Most importantly he listened to the brief and succeeded in managing both our expectations whilst taking into account monetary constraints and making our trip a very special one. The logistics of our safari were quite complex as it involved flying in and out of different lodges in Kenya. The ground arrangements were handled seamlessly by their local partners. Rob was a delight to deal with as he responded swiftly to my endless enquiries prior to departure and then made himself available 24/7 should we encounter difficulties whilst away (we didn’t). We had an exceedingly enjoyable and memorable trip and would not hesitate in recommending the services of the Talormade Africa to anyone considering a safari.

Excellent service and very professional.
5/5

Johan demonstrated a great wealth of knowledge about the area and history of the area we toured.
The 4x4 was exciting but never to a point where my vehicle got damaged or hurt.
The experience was so private and secluded!
Well done! Africa seen as Africa should be seen.

The tour operator is a warm-hearted person who is honest in his involvement with his clients.

My tour with Bonsai-SA was different to my other tours, in the sense that we had a relaxed program and were not chasing time all the time.
It makes a great difference to the tour experience.
Not everyone is geared to break-up camp in record times. I can travel with Bonsai and still have enough time make camp and to break-up camp with my tent and roof rack.

We had a very very great trip with Andre mainly through Botswana, but also Namibia. We saw so many animals and nature and stayed at the most beautiful places. Andre quickly found out, what we wanted and liked and made all our wishes come true. Even when we had problems with our flightchanges, he swiched our tour, so that everything worked out fine.
He is a big part, why we love Africa so much now. We can definitely highly recommend Impala Tours Namibia

Good organisation managing friendly staff/guides effectively
5/5

We spent 3 weeks in Kenya & Tanzania with 7byFar. Kids took over 8,000 pics, so wildlife was not scarce on the ground! 7byFar covered about 12 hotels, lodges and encampments during our stay in East Africa; all were of good standard. We had a few issues in individual lodges, but these were down to Mgmt on the ground and not 7byFar. CEO Sylvester met us on arrival in Nairobi and then came to see us toward the end of our stay and genuinely appreciated any feedback on our travels that we could give. Our main guide was Hassan with his Eddie Murphy laugh; not only very friendly, but knowledgable on wildlife, flora, fauna, history and the geopolitical state of Kenya. A totally enjoyable 3 weeks.

The perfectly organised bespoke adventure!
5/5

We have to say a huge thank you to you for organising such a wonderful trip for us, Anya. All the lodges we stayed in were beautiful, we got to see the Big 5 and had some of the best food we have ever eaten.

Cape Town was just as amazing with the shark cage diving, table mountain and the wine tasting. Every guide, meet and greet and transfer were super friendly and very helpful. The organisation was impeccable - we didn't have to think once!

We could not have had a more special time. We would highly recommended Pembury tours to anyone looking to craft a once in a lifetime trip to South Africa.
