Well organized, interesting itinerary and a knowledgeable guide
The initial communication with Twinkle Star was very good. All questions and concerns were quickly answered. There was a mix-up about our arrival time that caused us some stress when we were not met as planned but that worked out ok. Our guide/driver was friendly and knowledgeable. The itinerary was followed closely. The only animal on our list that we didn't see was a leopard. The most exciting were lions feeding on a buffalo carcass surrounded by hyaenas waiting for the leftovers. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The meals were mostly buffet with many food choices. I had no problem finding vegetarian options. All the different camps seemed to have the same food. The boxed lunches were also satisfactory. This is the only travel of this kind we have done so don't have anything to compare, but we enjoyed the experience. When researching Kenyan safaris Twinkle Star was competitive in price. We arrived home exhausted but since having time to rest and review and share our photos we only remember how much fun we had. It met our expectations.
We knew there would be a lot of time spent travelling between parks. Seeing Kenya outside the parks is part of the experience. But it was even more than anticipated. One drive was 12 hours instead of the 7-hour estimate. The two seatbelts in the middle row of the Landcruiser didn't work so when outside the parks we had to use the back which was not as comfortable.
FYI - Tipping was a problem that we weren't prepared for. US dollars seemed to be preferred over Kenyan shillings. Having small bills would have been helpful. We overtipped at times and sometimes didn't tip at all. Sometimes the tip could be added by credit card to the hotel bill.

Good communication and guide was well informed
Great value for money and communication was second to none so well done . Our guide was very knowledgeable through the whole 3 days safari and even on the long drive back to our resort ( 8hrs) was very patient with my daughter with her upset stomach from last safari lodge .
If I could change one thing it would have been more comfortable if the vehicle had air-con for travelling there and back not for the safari of course as roof was off which was perfect compared to other 4x4’s on the safari .
Would definitely recommend and save some money compared resort ( TUI ) prices .

Excellent excellent guide - ok accomodations
Our guide Johnnie Jackson was super duper excellent!! We saw the big 5 right away and also saw 7 cheetah one day as well as quite a few lions (1 male and 1 female were right next to our vehicle) and even a leopard! He knew right where to find the animals and made each day fun and interesting. He was concerned about everyone in our group and was patient, kind and flexible. The only downside of the safari were a couple of the accommodations. They were definitely budget and we knew that going in, but we're still surprised by the lack of cleanliness, broken tiles, and no hot water.

Good service and information about the safari.
We stayed in beautifully lodges in Kenia. The food and hospitality were excellent. Our driver Peter gave us a lot of information and has many knowledge about the environment. He was very kind and calm, and made sure we were feeling okay and having a good time. This safari was excellent, something to remeber forever. Thanks Emmy

Last minute safari well organized
We went with Silver and Gold Holidays for a 2-day safari to Murchison Falls. It was arranged only a few days ahead of time and the agency was very efficient with prompt communication. Our guide, Living, also picked us up timely from our accommodation. We had a nice time. Visiting the Rhino Sanctuary was a must and Murchison Falls park was also great. The vehicle had one set of binoculars but I recommend bringing your own.

Good Budget Tour
This was my first time in Kenya, hence didn't knowvwhat to expect. But I
nenjoyed this tour. The accommodation and food were basic but I enjoyed it. Loved the Glamp Tents and the food was tasty.
The safari driver cum guide did hos best to show us as many animals as possible and I was glad to see the lions.
His radio had a technical issue towards the end and that was a downer although he tried his best to compensate for this.
We also did the Nasai village tour which we thought was very strange and didn't feel real but it was ok.
Special thank you to Benson for assisting me and my friend when we came back to Nairobi and riots had broken out. We couldn't go to the hotel we had booked previously and Benson very kindly helped us book another hotel in a safe area and transported us there safely.
Thank you Benson really appreciate you going out of your way to ensure we were safe.
Overall a good tour and I recommend this budget tour.

Interactive, reachable and proactive.
Sunscape they respond timely, always available and on time. They recommend best choices and provide suggestions to their guests. With our limited time in Zanzabar they still manage to give us the best experience.

A country of great diversity in geography, landscapes, wildlife, culture, people and wealth
Our trip to South Africa had some highs and lows. We self-drove for 10 days from Port Elizabeth, along the Garden Route and into Oudtshorn and Franshoek. It was a very affordable country for us to visit and we had some great experiences but didnt always feel safe. The food was great and we met some lovely people at our accomodation. The highlight of our trip was 4 days in the Kapama Game reserve. Amazing food, wonderful staff and awesome wildlife.

Excellent
I would love to encourage everyone visiting africa especially east Africa to use safaris. It’s more reliable, experienced, and cost effective.

Fantastic Safari with average acomodation and food
The safari and our driver (Albert) were fantastic! The acomodation and food (mainly rice, potatoes, spinach and chicken 2x a day) are low standard. As all tour operators stop at the same places I assume it is the same on all safaris. As such I can recommend Jocky Tours!
