Amazing and unforgettable trip!
My husband and I just got back from our Kilimanjaro and safari adventures which we booked to celebrate my birthday. We’re so glad we booked through Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate as we couldn’t have asked for a better tour operator. The owner of the company, Nick, made sure the trip was flawlessly executed by answering multiple emails prior to our arrival, to setting up our airport transfers and meeting us before and after our Kilimanjaro climb and before the safari to ensure we were completely ready and satisfied. Nick and the whole climbing crew even threw me a surprise birthday celebration at the end of our Kilimanjaro climb with a lunch, cake, champagne, beer and sang Happy Birthday. It was really a special surprise!
The Kilimanjaro climb was an unforgettable experience. We booked the 7-day Machame Route. The climb could not have been possible without the help of the entire crew to carry all our personal equipment, set up and take down each base camp, cook breakfast, lunch and dinner and provide an excellent level of service to make us feel right at home on the mountain. We woke up every morning to ginger tea and were well fed. The food was delicious and there was a lot for the two of us that we had difficulty finishing every portion. We loved our guides (Goodluck and Nelson) as they were with us every step of the way and helped us survive on summit night. Climbing to the Summit was an intense experience and we’d highly recommend creating a playlist and listening to music all the way up. It was all worth it once you get to see the sunrise at the peak!
After the climb we booked a 4 day/3-night safari through Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate. It was really the icing on a fantastic trip. We got to see so many animals and watch some fascinating predators hunt. We saw a pack of lionesses’ hunt wildebeest and a crocodile bite off a zebra’s butt. Our safari guide, Shirima was fantastic at spotting out animals from miles and miles away. He was also genuinely excited and was very knowledgeable about all the animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and felt taken care of the whole time by Nick and his team. Thanks again Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate!!

Generally very caring personalized service provided by knowledgeable driver/guides and admin.
Home To Africa promptly provided answers to all our initial inquiries. They provided a personalized itinerary to meet our safari expectations and goals.
At times it felt like one of our driver guides was "clock watching" which meant we had to leave Ngorongoro Crater earlier than we would have liked in order to cope with the long drive to meet our time schedule.
Throughout the process, the communication was very good, the service excellent and the safari in total lived up to expectations.
I would recommend HTA as they try very hard to provide an experience that is memorable and achieves the clients' needs. Choice of accommodation was excellent and the food plentiful.

It was wonderful!
We had a three day trip to Chobe NP. Our Guide LT collect us at the boder and guided us through immigration.
We liked his quit and friendly way.
He was a great game spotrter: we've seen all the big five of Chobe and also all the small ones and birds.
Even it was not the high season for game drives, we had a great experience and feel lucky with Waterburg Safaris and the team of LT, Victor and Sydney.

Excellent service and safari delivered as described
Safari was exactly as described, great communication in setting up the changes we wanted, delivery was seamless and straightforward. We had input on the hotels and timing in the different locations. Gorillas were AMAZING and the park guides were extremely nice and helpful, experts in their jobs.
As with any safari, make sure you know what you want to do, as leaving it to the operator can leave you disappointed. Think through the locations you're going and how the transitions will work.

Best thing i ever done.
As a safarirookie i did not know what to expect, but Wild portrait made this trip to be the most amazing thing i ever done in my life. All the nice places we stayed at and the days in the parks, they know everything you want to know, just ask and you will get an answer! It was perfekt, I will absolutely come back!!

Incredible memorable safari!
Our trip has been nothing but faultless. The itinerary was planned to perfection and suited the time and budget we had. We requested Ian as our guide after being recommended him. He was incredible from start to finish, sharing information about Tanzania, the animals and so much more. We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater over four days and saw an abundance of wildlife - again Ian was fantastic at helping us with spotting the animals. As a group of three couples we all agreed the hospitality of everyone involved in our trip was top notch and felt Tanzania was one of the friendliest places!
I will DEFINITELY be recommending others to go with Tanzania Exclusive Journeys. Thank you for the unforgettable memories :)

My first trip to Africa - Exceptional experience
It was my first trip to Africa so basically I did not know what to expect – I was prepared for a new experience. The driver/guide that took us to Masai Mara was a very nice individual, communicative and knowledgeable. Obviously he tried his best to offer us a memorable experience and I thank him for that. What is interesting is that at some point I had to switch buses (I took a 4 days trip that included one day at Lake Nakuru). I do not pretend to understand the logistics used but I must say that the switch was swift and the second driver was also most accommodating. About accommodation I can say that the tent camp (Rhino Camp) in Masai Mara was perfect (clean, functional, private shower) while the accommodation at Lake Nakuru exceeded my expectations (much like a European mountain resort).
Also it’s worth mentioning that although I took the trip off season the guides successfully took us to see what the parks have to offer best so we were able to experience all the great five of Africa (although at some point it seemed to be a difficult task).
As a conclusion I must say that I’m happy I took the trip – it’s an experience one must have at least once.

Unique adventure
I had a wonderful time with Africa adventure vacations in uganda and Rwanda. Gorilla tracking is awesome experience. I can't forget such a unique experience in my life. Our guide ceaser was the best driver I have ever met. I will definitely recommend your services to my friends

Amazing experience and excellent to deal with.
We had Nicholas as our guide and we loved our time with him. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experiences. Friends of ours had used this company before and had Nicholas so we were very happy. Maggie is who I dealt with to book the safari. I did everything through whats app and it was all very easily.
