Full Package provided a good Safari experience at an affordable price
We discovered that the most important aspects of a Safari
1. Your driver/guide is the number 1 and his knowledge will determine your experience
2. Be courteous to the people as they are always welcoming and polite
3. Be flexible and work with the operator as some things are out of their control: we had 1 tented camp that had water issues, and probably due to this camp was not permanent and was moved into the area to be close to Migration
All our other locations were great for what we selected as “comfortable” budget option. Maybe only ask for the permanent camps.
4. Please tip - many are just trainees or volunteers who survive on tips
5. Enjoy Nature and all this great country offers.

Amazing Safari with Jeepcruise Safaris
Jeepcruise Safaris made my trip unforgettable! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, the vehicle was very comfortable, and we got to see the Big Five up close. Everything was well-organized from start to finish, and I felt safe the whole time. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a real safari experience in Kenya.

Beautiful and friendly, but lacking a bit of wildlife.
Uganda is a very friendly country and definitely worth the visit.
Pros:
Amazing primate wildlife: gorillas, chimpanzees and many other smaller primates (monkeys) can be easily watched.
Very good birding.
Beautiful forested hills and mountains to the West of the country.
Beautiful geographical features, like Lake Victoria, Murchison Falls, the Nile, Ruwenzori and Virunga mountains. All within reach.
Friendly people everywhere. Drivers, guides, rangers, hotel staff, all are very nice and devoted to their work.
Professional guides and drivers know their trade well.
Very good food everywhere we went.
Good lodges, although some were a bit below par for a mid-range aspiration.
Cons:
Other than primates, wildlife is unevenly present in the parks. Some lack this, some lack that, etc.
Overall, wildlife does not appear in vast numbers as it does in other countries in the region, despite censuses and claims to the contrary (they are sure true, but it just does not show on the field).
Dreadful dirt roads in the forested areas, really bad even for trained drivers with adequate 4x4 cars. Well below the standard in neighbouring countries.
Driving times can be very long on account of the state of the roads (even those on tar).

Review about Kalinzu Forest Reserve by Domitilla Marchi
We liked the trek, it was a little hard to find the chimpanzee and they were up on the trees, but overall it was a good experience

Excellent Guide and Fast Response
The booking process was seamless as Paul was attending to me from the start providing me with complete itinerary, information and efficient response to all of my questions. The only thing I could critique is the car condition which broke down twice on the road, however it showed me much camaraderie from all the fellow drivers and guides who stopped to help us until we got the car running again. Overall, We had an amazing experience in Central and North Serengeti and managed to see the most anticipated Great Migration! It was Amazing. Our guide, David, made sure we were able to catch that! David is very knowledgeable and he did his best to show us everything. The lodges that we stayed in were also very decent with good food and nice people. A very memorable trip!

Once (or perhaps more?) in a lifetime experience!
Let me begin by telling you the importance of choosing a good local tour for a trip to Safari. Continuous communications before and during the trip, tailor-made route, a helpful guide, one of a kind accommodation..you name it. Much appreciation goes to our contact Peter for curating the route to our preferences and answering my enquiries, after all it's my family's very first trip to the Safari! We are thankful for our guide Dickson who is open to our suggestions and is a very reliable driver. Not to mention being attentive in spotting lions from hundreds of yards away! All in all we recommend travelling with Apodiformes Adventures for this once in a lifetime experience!

Carefully, kind and great experience
A very nice, kind, small and familia Safari Company. You can trust them 100% that they do their best to offer you a wonderful safari experiences for a very fair price also for students. Everything went smooth and I really enjoyed the time with our tour guides, the lodge we were located, the food and of course the wonderful safari we did in the Nyerere National Park. The guides are taking much care and have incredible knowledge, they are the best and greatest company you can wish for. What was a bit annoying unfortunately was that the veko, it was a bit broken and on one side the window didn't go down. In addition, the walking safari and the visit to the Maasai was very interesting but did not reflect how such a presentation and "show" for white tourists also reinforces a racist image about the "African continent" in many white people's minds... I think that as a tourist you have to deal with power structures, racist systems and postcolonialism before you travel to countries like Tanzania, which of course is not the responsibility of Asante Bibi. All in all we enjoyed our trip with this company and learned a lot it was a wonderful and unforgettable time .Thank you so much Asante Bibi!

African Big Cats Safaris delivered a wonderful, safe, and unforgettable adventure.
We chose African Big Cats Safaris based on a link in The Lonely Planet of trusted safari companies. They arrived on our long list and finally on the short list. We picked them because of the interaction, price and the customisation of the trip. We initially drafted our route (Tarangire – Lake Natron – Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara), and the company helped us fine-tune it. The direct booking process was very good: emails were answered swiftly and clearly, and we even had a helpful video call beforehand.
Our driver was truly outstanding: highly experienced, deeply knowledgeable about flora and fauna, and always prioritised safety. He knew his way around the national parks, handled check-ins smoothly, and gave us useful briefings each day. We appreciated his punctuality, the way he coordinated with other guides to locate interesting animals, and even how the car was cleaned daily despite all the dust. We also liked the thoughtful planning of arrival times—always before 4:30 pm—allowing us to relax and enjoy the scenery before sunset.
Overall, we would rate the company as very good, a 4.5. The only reason we cannot give a full “Excellent” rating is due to a last-minute change in accommodation caused by a mistake on their side. While we had approved the lodges in advance, they had to make a change just days before the trip began, and unfortunately the replacement was a slight downgrade.
This safari was truly “Memories for life.” Despite the minor hiccup, African Big Cats Safaris delivered a wonderful, safe, and unforgettable adventure.
