First off the experience was good, I loved the places we visited and secondly I was given enough time to enjoy maself in the places we visited

Prompt, efficient service.
Michelle at Explore and Travel Africa found venues within our date perimeters for us to choose, we chose Honeyguide Montabeni Camp, all additional services were then listed, flights, car hire etc to enable us to finalise the trip. At all times, communications were handled promptly. What a trip it was, we saw all the wildlife we wanted and more, well worth the cost, we think the three nights was adequate. The weather was not with us, but can imagine with good weather how it would be. Only downfall of the trip was the camp management let the whole staff down, who were great. Lacked communication and hospitality skills but that should not deter visiting.

Exceeded all expectations for a day trip from Kigali
We were looking for a day trip to add on to the end of a work trip to Kigali. This itinerary (breakfast and lunch trip in Akegera) seemed to be good and after a few enquiries with Golden Rwanda Safaris, we confirmed. Pick up from the hotel was early, but eased by a coffee stop en route at a superb outlet. We travelled in a smart jeep with a 'lift up' roof (for game viewing later). On arrival at the park, the tour really began. We had a briefing and very quickly our driver spotted some big game. We continued in this vein through the park, which is very green and littered with beautiful lakes; not so much savanna as hilly terrain, but loads to see. We stopped for breakfast at a superb lodge with magnificent views over the park and then continued. There was so much to see - we clocked 4 of the Big 5, plus hippos, giraffe, zebra and many different antelopes; the birds were diverse and stunning. Onwards, to lunch, which was again situated at a good spot with great views. Finally, we'd reached the end of the game drive through the park and made the journey back to Kigali. It was a long day and very worthwhile. The driver/guide (Vincent) was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. The operator was very flexible to pick us up at one hotel and drop us at another. The price was good value for the level of service and quality of the itinerary. Many thanks to Frank and to Vincent for their service!

Friendly and welcoming
As to me it was fun attending the safari tour.. we visited the source of the nile where we were humbly welcomed, enjoyed playing games like soccer, volleyball went for some boat cruise and later in the night all tents were set for those who were tired had to rest but some of us put up a camp fire and played some brain games that was more of fun. The next day breakfast was prepared for us and oooh I don't regret attending the tour instead wish to do it every time am not busy.

Planned everything precisely and shared information timely.
The whole thing seems like a dream now. We have had the best time. Everything was planned to perfection from airport pick ups to game rides. Wakanda tours team was great, in particular you need to ask for Simon who is the guide and Dula who was our lovely chef. I couldn’t believe the recipes he came out with every day . Simon makes it so that the the jeep feels like a family home. The animals become a bonus. We got to see the big 5 thanks to our hawk eyed guide. They even found us a place to stay before we had to take off due to a delay in the flight and didn’t ask for anything in return.

We are a couple and a safari was my husband’s dream trip.
I looked online and found Morningstar and sound me ok. Best decision ever.
My practitioner was Alice and the driver was Alex. They were both amazing.
Alice was able to understand what I wanted from the trip and adapt the plan accordingly. She was always polite, understanding, sympathetic, empathic and always always responded promptly to any query, even during the trip.
I found that this was a very smooth and easy holiday thanks to her, very similar to what I would do if I was booking it myself.
Alex was an excellent guide. He could find the animals in places that I would never find. He has the best eye sight ever. He was always polite, on time, kind, explaining the things around. He respected the plan but also suggested adaptations so we could take the most of our trip (what worked wonders).
This was not the most affordable travel, but that was our choice. We decided to have an extra day in Nairobi to rest, a jipe for only 2, and our hotels were quite good.
By the way, the choice of the rooms was on spot considering the major opportunities of each hotel, for example, the room in Naivasha allowed us to see the Hypos at night, otherwise, we would have not seen them so closely.
I do not regret a second using Morningstar and I am very happy for the professionals we had.

Amazing experience
We had taken contact with Bruno and he did all the process from Tanzania. Bought the flight tickets, contacted with the Kilimanjaro crew, booked Safari tour, and have taken care about us during the hole holidays.
