It exceeded my expectations.
Booking online can be a bit scary because you’re not sure if you’re dealing with a reputable company or not. I was so happy to find that the Baboon Budget Safari staff were everything you could possibly hope for, even though the cost was very reasonable. Our guide, Stanley, was an excellent driver and shared with us so many interesting facts about the animals we saw. He was also very good at spotting animals from a considerable distance, and I couldn’t believe how many species we were fortunate enough to see. Stanley’s work days on safari were long and demanding, yet he handled it all like it was easy. 5 stars for Stanley!! Our accommodations at Mara Sopa and Lake Nakuru Lodge were wonderful - attractive, clean, and the food was delicious and varied. I would highly recommend this safari company to everyone. They go out of their way to ensure that their customers have a happy and memorable safari experience. Thank you so much Stanley & Teddy.

Memorable 3 Weeks in East Africa
I wanted to visit Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Uganda in one trip. In early 2018, I arranged a customized program for the coming November with Obed – who was recommended to me by a fellow traveler. Originally from the DRC, but now residing across the border in Rwanda, Obed had the contacts and expertise to make my plan happen. In addition, he was competitively (and reasonably) priced. From the planning process to the time of booking, I received nothing but excellent customer service. Obed listened and made sure to deliver. He appropriately took care of the required permits for me – no problems anywhere. Communication was never an issue – he replied to my emails and messages in a timely fashion and made sure to address each question, comment, and concern. This continued into the tour. He showed up on time every single day. Obed’s friendly, welcoming personality and energy radiated from the moment he greeted me in Rwanda. Conversations were easy – we shared the same sense of humor. He was informative, yet listened to know when I had enough. Furthermore, he was able to answer all of my questions without any hesitation. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the trip – whether in the car or checking in to the accommodations. The vehicles used for transportation were comfortable. Most importantly, he was flexible. Anytime that I had an idea, or wanted to add or get rid of an activity, he made it happen. No questions asked. Overall, Obed was a delightful guide and lived up to (and exceeded) my expectations. I strongly recommend Obed and Kumbukumbu Tours if you need a fixer or a tour operator/guide for the area.

Very efficient and well organized trip
We had a very good trip in the end of november to Okavanago delta thanks to Kenosi. He was very patient with us when we prepared for the trip and changed our plans a couple of times because of flights to Botswana, and at the end of the day we enjoyed a very nice safari. Unfortunately we have not seen wild dogs, but apart from that we were lucky enough to see lots of other animals and in general the trip exceeded our expectations. If we go to Botswana ever again, we will try to use the same agency again.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Monika
Lot of animals! The scenery is very different, given it's a crater you can see far and wide which also means seeing a lot of animals. It does, however, mean that there are not many surprises hidden in the bushes, or the other side of a hill (as there are none).

Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Monika
We saw a lot of baboons and elephants, as well as many zebra's, wildebeest and bufallos. However, having been to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Maasai Mara it felt that there wasn't as many animals as in the other parks, possibly because many were hidden in the bushes of the lake Manyara Park.

A little-known pearl in the heart of Africa
Perhaps Zimbabwe is one of those places in Africa where mass tourism has passed by in recent years due to socio-political reasons. May be it is also that same reason that turns a safari into this wonderful national park into a unique experience. Tranquility, little influx of visitors and an enormous diversity of fauna make this place an essential scene to enjoy any nature trip.
Located in an enclave punished by the history of the last two centuries, this park summarizes, in its entirety, the best of a safari in Africa: diverse landscapes, a high density of wild fauna and the recovery of endangered species - the African Wild Dog or Lycaon- make Hwange one of the best national parks in Africa.
With a bit of luck, especially at dawn, it is not difficult to find a herd of lycaons in full activity. A true experience to discover the group behavior of these fantastic animals: synchronized movements, strategic deployment, restless tracking to the search for food, and constant and jumping nerve. I had not had the luck to meet them in other African parks before and their picture was wonderful.
The great guides of "Ivory Lodge", located right on the edge of the park, gave us the possibility of going out to meet other equally interesting species. Also early in the morning, a herd of 18 lions on the side of a pond, delighted us with a good selection of playgrounds.
Among all the scenes of wildlife, I will highlight one of the most impressive I have lived in Africa. The displacement, at dusk, of a herd of hundreds of buffaloes through the dry basin of a river. Slowness accompanied by strength, serenity, sliding across the earth like a giant raft in the middle of a calm ocean.
A little-known pearl in the heart of Africa.

Interesting, varied - nothing negative to say.
We have seen all of the big five on our visit in Tanzania and many, many animals overall (although leopard was a bit shy hidden in a tree as well as Rhino's we very far and has it not been for binoculars we wouldn't have seen much - having said that we saw them chasing a hyena). We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.
Having visited three different areas the scenery was very different and very interesting. Our guide Isaac was good. In terms of accommodation on our Safari we opted to stay in a lodge outside the parks. We stayed at the Farms of Dreams Lodge which was excellent. Personally I don't see the upside in staying inside the parks, not sure how much more can one see if staying inside the park and it feels like you can get better accommodation at lower price if staying outside.
Overall, for us Safari is probably something we would only do once but if the opportunity was there we would definitely visit again.
