Fantastic experience! Value, safety, knowledge, kindness, experience, organization, all tops!
My wife and I booked a 13-day tour (offered by GT's sister agency Habari), and worked mainly with Annette in the Kampala office. Annette was very helpful, professional, providing complete and very informative answers to our questions (what to expect, what to bring, money, health, visas, etc). (This was our first trip to Africa - no clue. We have had many trips to SE Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East.)
We joined a group, made up of 3 single women, and two other family women members. The group dynamics do influence the trip and we had a fun group!
In our trip, we visited 5 national parks - our favorite was Murchison Falls, though all have a special flavor. Murchison had savannah, Nile River, lots of animals (elephants, buffalo, hippos, birds, lions, giraffe, etc) it does take a full day to get there from Entebbe, but you do have a stop over to see rhinos at reserve - amazing! Chimp tracking was a blast, they're so personable! The shoebill bird in Lake Mburo, a treat.
Our driver/guide was Isma, someone who we all grew to admire and really appreciate - conservationist, teacher, guide, all around great human being. He kept us informed, on schedule, safe, fed, and bio-braked. What's more, he inspired us.
We went at start of rainy season, which means fewer people but more risk of rainy days. It did not get in our way except for one day. There's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing....
Lodges were our style - well located, comfortable, clean, very welcoming staff, with a bar, and not overbearingly luxurious or stuffy, great value. We reminisce about hearing the hippos in the evening, colobus monkeys just outside our door, the sunsets.
I would love to bring my adult kids and my parents. The 13 days does require some stamina for long vehicle drives, but what you see along the way is all new, sometimes funny, exciting. It always felt safe, was always full of wonder, excellent value, worthy of repeating and expanding. Gorilla Tours has my vote for a great tour company with excellent staff!

It’s a really beautiful country with several animals, vegetation and cultures - very nice to visit!
We were in Uganda for an internship and wanted to book a Safari last minute - therefore this website was great! We found the perfect match and the company managed to Organise the Start of our trip within to days!
The Country itself was really beautiful and we were surprised about the variety of the different National parks within Savannah and Rainforest. We felt safe the whole journey with our Safari-Guide and the park-Rangers. The weather was still good in the beginning of august, but it started to rain in the end of august(->Tip: visit country before rain-season). All in all it was a really lovely trip and we enjoyed it!
(One last tip: look for a proper car- the roads are really bumpy nearly everywhere and the “african-massage”, like our guide called it, isn’t that enjoyable after some hours of driving)

Simply amazing.
Our first Safari and it did not disappoint. We had booked a 3 day Safariwith Ku Sungula and had seen all of the big five within 48 hours.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable, especially loved the outdoor areas for each room. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
A fabulous trip!

Fantastic safari experience.
Tanzania was great! We had organized a safari with Safari Soles before we arrived. Our 10 day safari tour was mind blowing, We did not expect the variety of animals and the accommodations and food were fantastic. Each park had its highlights. We enjoyed the northern park areas more as the southern parks were much busier with tourist traffic. We had fantastic weather and enjoyed being guided by a Massi to some waterfalls and to Natron lake.
Next we flew to Zanzibar for 10 days. The Nungwi beach was beautiful. In Stone Town we enjoyed watching the beach activities, walking through town, the tasty food and the markets. Overall Tanzanians are very welcoming. We never felt unsafe; however the majority of vendors were uncomfortably pushy. Be sure to negotiate prices of tours and items.
The scenery was beautiful and varied throughout Tanzania. We enjoyed a day trip to the foothills of Kilimanjaro where we learned how coffee was grown and the locals had us participate in making a good cup. They also cooked us a delicious lunch.
We really enjoyed our holiday!

We had one of our greatest experience here - we were out of the car with several giraffes and zebras and enjoyed the evening-sun in an nearly empty park - that was beautiful!

The NP with the highest animal density and the beautiful waterfall! That one was great, but also full of tourists.

The park is very large, you have to wander around a lot to see the animals. The dirt road to get there is very bad and tiring.
