Charles was very friendly and kind to us. Thanks to him, we could enjoy our days in Kenya with everything we needed. He always there to help us and to show us everything about this wonderful country. If we ever come back to Kenya we will repeat with him for sure!

Lemosho route up kilimanjaro July 2021
Right from the start we knew Great Lake Expedition were a special group, we received a tremendous welcome at the airport by our Head guide Jameel and this flowed through our whole trip. I travelled with my brother and sister in law who were celebrating their 32th wedding anniversary and a very good friend. The Great Lake Expedition managed to keep our spirits high, fed us amazing food and who else could provide a celebratory cake at 4k metres. Also when times get tough and altitude sickness kicks in they are there to encourage, help, support and at times literally drag you up their mountain. We chose the Lemosho route because it is quieter, but also has breathtaking scenery and allows you a more peaceful experience at the beginning. The Great Lake Expedition provide you with tents, sleeping mats, loo's at camp, songs, overwhelming amounts of food; special mentions for me are Juma, Elly, Suma, Uncle Tom, Chopper and Felix. When you come to Kili, bring extra money for good tips, they really deserve it and leave your best kit at home, you can donate any warm clothes, poles, boots and socks...so you can make the team more comfortable. Thanks Great Lake Expedition without you I would not have made it to the top of Africa

the majority of the process was smooth
I took a package with a friend for 5 day safari trip and it was beyond incredible. We had the best Safari guide during the whole trip, Moses, which made the trip one of the best experiences we've had :))
Collin planned the whole itinerary and tickets ( I however recommend you to buy your tickets that was the only con of the whole process) but other than that everything was well planned.

Amazing!
We had an outstanding experience with Jonathan exploring and learning everything about Nairobi national park. I could not explain in words what an amazing experience this was. I would highly recommend any visitors to Nairobi to get in touch with Jonathan. A must!!!!! All Canadians out there, this is your guy

Wonderful Experience with Lelaa
We did a 4-Day luxury tour with Lelaa tours, Was amazing! I would recommend Lion King and Driver/Guide Francisco He was professional and dedicated to our experience. Francisco made our safari amazing as he was insightful and full of knowledge. We were able to see a lot of animals to include elephants (my personal favorite) hippos (my fiancé’s favorite) lions, and so many more! Lelaa safaris surpassed our expectations and would only book them and the guide again!

Provided us with a safe and amazing safari to Tanzania
We just returned from a great trip to Tanzania that had been arranged for us by Soul of Tanzania. We had a wonderful itinerary that had been worked out for us with travel specialist Manel at Soul of Tanzania, actually last year when the trip had to be canceled due to COVID. We had an excellent, knowledgeable, and very personable guide named Azeria. Every day, he served us hot meals on a table with a tablecloth and real plates and silverware that he set up in the bush for us, which I felt was much safer than stopping at local cafes. He was great at spotting wildlife, so we were thrilled to see so many of the animals we had hoped to see and photograph. Azeria also was an excellent and safe driver and handled the bumpy roads as best as could be expected. As for Covid concerns, the staff in the lodges where we stayed wore masks, but most of the local people were not masked. We had a private safari with just the four of us, so we were not around other people that much. In fact, at the lodges, we were sometimes the only guests, and there were never more than a handful of people except at the Ngorongoro lodge. The lodges were ecstatic to have guests, and they rolled out the red carpet for us, greeting us cordially with cool drinks and song, and served excellent food for all meals taken at the lodge even though there were very few guests. We had many concerns about Covid testing requirement both going and returning, but it all worked out with help from Soul of Tanzania in getting us registered and taking us to the testing site. We are grateful for a safe and healthy return

Unforgettable experience with Lion King
Trip of a lifetime…
Booking agent communicated well, making planning and booking a breeze. Driver David did a phenomenal job maneuvering the park and getting us unrivaled shots of the wildlife with epic sunrises and sunsets. Accommodations and dining were beyond our expectations. Recommend adding the Hot Springs and day hike to Mt. Kilimanjaro at end of safari. Would not hesitate to refer friends and family for to safari with Lion King!
