We were lucky to travel with them. They were introduced by our friend, and they were strongly recommened, so we had the same itinerary with same driver guide Solomon. Eveything was excellent apart from the weather was not good.

Classic Journeys was professional, reliable and knowledgeable, with wonderful guides.
In a pandemic, so many things could go wrong—but nothing did! If Classic Journeys said we’d get a PCR test result in four hours, Classic Journeys did just that. Our guides consistently showed up on time, even when rendezvousing at the Kenyan border. Lots of work was obviously going on in the background to make the trip feel this seamless. Our two guides (Good Luck in Tanzania and Moses in Kenya) made our safari feel (in a good way) like a college-credit course. Every question was answered with a depth of knowledge that can only come from vast experience and dedication to the environments these guides work in and serve. They patiently answered our questions about the parks, animals, politics and even about their own lives. They are expert in the art of spotting a leopard or a rhino (among the rarer examples of wildlife) in the landscape. The choice of lodging was perfect. Kati Kati in the Serengeti was the most down-to-earth setting but the service was fantastic and it was a privilege to be housed in the park itself, where one night we heard a lion exploring outside our fortified tent. The manager, Job, worked so hard to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. At night, travelers gathered around his “African TV” (a bonfire) to talk about the highlights of their day. We met folks from Portugal, the US, and Spain. The group of young men who live at the camp during the tourist season worked non-stop to walk us to our tent, get our showers ready with solar-heated water, turn down our beds, and simply to entertain us with stories and information (I’m talking to you, Honest!). In the Zebra Plains lodge at Amboseli Park in Kenya, a staff member named Moses offered to walk us around the brush surrounding the lodge, which abuts his village. He showed up in his traditional Maasai clothing and for the next hour identified animal footprints, skat, and plants, while watching carefully for wildlife. We were well fed by all lodges and camps, including with robust packed lunches when we were out for the entire day. The Lake Manyara Safari Lodge quickly adjusted its dinner option when I made a special request. The staff at all lodges and camps is exceedingly professional (many of whom we learned are earning college degrees in hospitality).

Organized, communicative, thoughtful, creative, and an ideal tour operator!
I could not say enough about Mama Savana! Alex spent hours making sure that our tour was just right, communicating easily and frequently and working with us to have the trip of a lifetime well within our budget. He worked out deals, recommended beautiful places to stay, and changed things around easily when flooding got in the way.
We had two driver/guides. Sammy, in Kenya, was a superstar for finding animals and searched relentlessly to find us multiple cheetahs. He was flexible and kind and arranged our picnic lunches, hippo boats, and a balloon safari that was life changing.
Allen was our driver in Tanzania, and he is a kind philosopher, who taught us so much about culture, animals, and life in general! He also made sure we saw the elusive leopard, just as we ended our trip.
Both drivers were safe, thoughtful, and totally trustworthy.
Would do this trip over and over again!

Amazing safari experience with a professional, flexible super nice guide
We have booked a 7 day safari with Explorer Kenya.
The package contained our guide, the Land Cruiser, accommodations and park entrance fees, full board at the lodges, transportation between the parks and of course the guided game drives
Got picked up at NBO airport, drove to Masai Mara, stayed there 2 nights, drove to Lake Nakuru National Park, stayed for a night, drove to Lake Naivasha for a night and finished at Amboseli National park for 2 nights from where we drove back to NBO Airport as we requested. Need to mention that all this was a private safari just for two of us, we did not share the car with others this time.
Our guide Jonathan gave us an amazing and wonderful experience, professional service, helped us in different things.
The short version is:

The longer version:
I can clearly recommend to go to Explorer Kenya's organized safari trips, and if you would like to have an amazing experience, ask for Johnathan.
Then you go alone, you have to do everything, which can be a hassle without knowing the local conditions or speaking the local language. You rent a car, make the insurance, drive from one place to the other, get lost, stuck in traffic jam, trying to find the lodges which sometimes are not easy without being familiar with the area, and the most important is that you have no idea about the game drives. Where to go, what are the frequent spots, neither you are not familiar with the different regulations of the park, dangers or animal hiding spots, and so on.
So when you go with a guide, that guide is your EVERYTHING. He is your driver, he is your tracker, he is organizing the whole trip, schedule it for you. He is the one who you can address with your questions, concerns or if you need ANY help. He knows what to do or not to do, he knows the shortcuts, the dangers and all the people around you. In the parks, at the lodges and in between. What I am trying to say with this simple: choosing the proper operator will give you a smooth journey and an amazing experience.
We feel lucky because Jonathan was very helpful, polite with us. He took good care of us, made sure every day that we have our comfort and we are having fun. He was literally providing an amazing service for us in every step of the trip.
Since we went for the safari experience and I wanted to take some good quality photos, I was asking someone who has years of experience and patience for my photography addiction and I must say I was impressed. Jonathan was keep showing and explaining us the nature, the wildlife, the different species with its characteristics. I was really impressed by his knowledge and also on his patience. When you try to do proper photos, its not easy, so I asked him to go here and there many times and he kept assisting me with whatever it was possible. Sometimes I actually felt a bit bad about all my request, but he had just done all of it, so I am really grateful for him.
The accommodations/lodges were nice, comfy with big beds, nice views and cozy African decorations. Food was also good.
I need to mention that this was not our first Safari in Africa. I am saying it because I am a wildlife enthusiast and a photography passionate, seen many things before, but definitely I have not seen everything, every experience is something new, and you never know in advance what you gonna see. So I believe I have a fair amount of experience in game-drives and safari programs, so I can clearly say that I am happily recommending Explorer Kenya and Jonathan to be your guide.

A fantastic experiennce
We are a family/group of 7 people that are just back from an fantastic safari experience organized by Soul of Tanzania. The journey was supposed to take place last year but due to the effects of covid we were allowed to postpone the journey for a year. We flew right into Serengeti National Park from Arusha and stayed for 9 days in three different tented camps. Two of the camps were located in central Serengeti and one camp in northern Serengeti. The latter to see the migration of Wildebeast and Zebras crossing Mara river. All the camps held really high standard with excellent service. The part that stood out was of course the all the animals we were fortunate to see in their natural environment but also the two fantastic guides that made our journey to something extra. They had made a specific plan for our stay but was also flexible to twist it when it was relevant. Their knowledge was amazing and as experienced guides they could give us the extra information that you normally don't get. Within two days they managed to locate all the "big five" but also all the other animals that you want to see.
Soul of Tanzania has been very professional and service minded all the way since our first contact more than a year ago. They were even able with short notice to help us make Covid PCR-tests inside Serengeti. This so that we could leave Tanzania without any delay in our travel schedule.
We can highly recommend Soul of Tanzania and we will use them again if we will go back. We will of course also ask for the same guides :)

Everything was amazing. Since the begining our trip was excellent. Super organization- route, views, advanture, camps, food. Our guide Andrew knows a lot about nature, is very practiced and experienced man, who patiently explained us everything what we needed and wanted to know. Especially friendly to our son answered him the many many questions which our son had. He looked for very consistently animals to show us, so we had lucky to see big five and many, many more. We saw two rhinos crossing the road close to us, few meters.
Our cook Dula made the extra tasty food, he could enchant dinner as the best restaurant during camp and Safari, having all products in small mobile box !
Bartho from Wakanda cooperates with amazing and professional team. Bartho was very helpfull me before our travel. He always texted me with answers, when I needed help to orgenize travel to Tanzania.
I recomend Wakanda team with Andrew and Dula very, very much.
