A good young agency
5/5

There are many safaris available in Africa, and it is difficult to choose from. Finally our safari selection was Serengeti Smile's 8-Day Great Migration Tour - Mara River Crossing at the turn of September and October. We greatly enjoyed this interesting safari. Our guide Mussa showed us a lot of different animals.
We booked at the last minute, but despite this, the accommodations were of a high standard. Special thanks to Emmy from the agency who always answered my questions very quickly.
Apparently, the timing was not ideal. During the day, the temperature rose to 35 degrees and fell during nights to 15 degrees, but the first rains of the beginning of the rainy season had already drenched the road tracks into mud and filled the Mara River into a flowing stream.
If you are also looking for something negative about the week, long journeys on shaky roads in poor condition come to the fore. In any case, we can warmly recommend Serengeti Smile and this safari.

Unforgettable
5/5

Our experience with Apodiformes was amazing. Before going, Silas made everything easy by answering all our questions instantly, telling us all the things we need to know and bring there. Then the safari was great!! Our driver Dickson is a nice person and a great driver! We experienced some unbelievable and unforgettable moments in both Amboseli and Masai Mara thanks to him! :)

Wonderful journey with KETS! We six people are all satisfied with the whole arrangement! The total cost is reasonable and the experience is wonderful!

Paul, our sincere friend, is so knowledgeable and friendly. He is definitely an expert on animals and Kenya. Love him!

Everything is so good! Highly recommend to everyone! Next time I go back to Kenya, I’ll definitely choose KETS and Paul again!!

Big 5 success
5/5

Great communication and adjustments to fit our needs. Great value for price. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals, very responsive to our needs, and a joy to spend 6 days with. If I could change anything, we would spend more days and add a night safari. Trip of a lifetime. It was nerve wracking planning this trip with a company we knew nothing about, but they delivered and we have no regrets.

Overall we had good safari time
4/5

We had a 8-day Safari trip in Kenya, organized by William, who had years of experience in operating. In general,we had good time in Amboseli NP and Masai Mara NR.We saw cheetah hunting and zebra crossing Mara River then got eaten by the crocodile. The accomdation in these two areas(Kibo Safari Camp&Osero Camp) are well located with delicious food and good service.

But there are two points I'm not satisfied with.
1.I made deposit payment on July 3(travel date is Sept 3-10).At middle Aug,William said that due to Kenya government policy,VAT hike by 16% so he need to adjust price. We need to pay extra USD300 each person.I checked with some other Madukha's guests and they didn't face price change. This is really annoying but we have no time to find other agency at that time point,we can only accept.
2.The accomdation at Naivasha is always marked as "Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort" at the itinerary during the whole process. At early Aug I also ask William are accomdations all confirmed and won't be changed. His answer is yes.But at last we were arranged to "Lake Naivasha Resort".I was very angry and William explained that staff make mistake when booking hotels and refund the price gap. (BTW "Lake Naivasha Resort"is more like a conference hotel, guests are loacl businessman/businesswomen.There are no more than 10 guests at dinner and breakfast....)

So I don't know whether I should recommend this agency or not.

Best safari trip! Goodluck is proffesional and amazing person
5/5

We had 8 days amazing trip in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Manyara.
I think that the guide is the most important thing in such a safari trip - he is your eyes, your brain (knowledge) and your legs (Jeep). In this case, as his name suggests, we hade a good luck in all above 3 areas, Goodluck is super proffesional - very knowledgable on animals/birds/vegetation, identify animals from far and great driver.
I'm a photographer and Goodluck has excellent special jeep for that purpose, by far the best I saw in in Tanzania - has 2 chairs that fully rotates and adjusts, also Goodluck knows to expect the animals behavior and put you in great angle towards the action.
Beside the proffesionaism, Goodluck is great person and made us laugh a lot, has a lot of patience to any requests I had.
Very recommended!!

5-day Safari_great experience!
5/5

Planning and support:
Migration Venture Africa have been from the beginning very helpful in finding the right Safari package for our needs. They were always replying quickly and provided different options to choose from with competitive prices.

Safari itinerary & accomodations:
The Safari we choose consisted in a 5 day experience through the Tarangire Park, 2 nights in Serengeti, 1 night in Ngorongoro Crater and last day to the Manyara Lake. it was a well balanced itinerary both in terms of accomodations and places to visit/animals to see. Also the accomodations are well balanced options between luxury, adventure and budget. The first night we slept in Ngorongoro Forest tented Lodge, a very nice and luxurious hotel, with swimming pool, a great restaurant wonderful rooms. The 2nd and 3rd night we slept in the middle of the Serengeti park, in a very high-hand tented lodge really into the wild. The restaurant was really great and at night you could hear the animals passing close to the rooms.. something worth to tell as a story! The last night was in Ngorongoro Inn, a simple hotel but clean and good for the last rest before the Manyara Lake drive.

Guide and experience:
The most important factor to enjoy a Safari is probably the guide, and in this sense our guide, Bony, did a really great job. He has been always very punctual and did his best every day to make us see as many animals as possible. He was great in finding the right spots from which to observe animals and explaining us a lot of curiosities!
Very recommended guide!!

Conclusion:
Overall the Safari was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend Migration Venture, the organisation has been on point and we came back with great memories!

Amazing holidays in Tanzania with an amazing guide
5/5

I visited Tanzania as solo woman traveller, with Godilisten over a tour organiser. My initial booking was for 5 days but decided to extend it to include a climb to Kilimanjaro. It was my first trip ever to Africa. My husband joined me for two days as well.
I arrived to Kilimanjaro airport around 1:30am and found Godilisten waiting for me. His friendliness and polite manners were the best welcome I could imagine. He answered all my questions on the way to the accommodation, explained me our itinerary in detail, checked about my meals (I am allergic). His command of English is perfect so communication was very easy.
I discovered Arusha National Park, its town, low levels of Kilimanjaro, waterfalls, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Manyara escarpment. Made the obligatory Massai village visit. Saw big five, a leopard, beautiful birds, bizarre plants and much more. During all the time, I learned so much about the country, its rich heritage, nature, culture, wonderful people, food, traditions and music. He introduced me to Tanzanian and Kenyan music, which I listen since then. A blessing!
He is from a village at Kilimanjaro and inspired me to discover more of the mountain. Although not planned in advance, he organised everything incl appropriate clothing, two private guides, picnic, all necessary permits and back office to extend my trip.
I even tasted bananas and avocados from his village.
Once we had a very scary baboon attack to our jeep and the beast was just in front of me. In a second, Godilisten stood between us and made it run away. I still don't know how he could come so fast from his driver seat to the back of the jeep. This sealed my opinion that I would be safe whatever comes with Godilisten.
All in all, I fell in love with Africa thanks to the perfect introduction by Godilisten. His reliability, friendliness, professionalism, gentlemanly manners, know how were beyond my imagination. Arrived as curious traveller, left as friend.
My husband and I will come again to discover more with Godilisten.

Karibu Safaris to make your Safari memorable
5/5

Castro our guide made sure that we never forget about our Safari. He was very flexible, responded to all our request during 7 days. The choice of parcs and visits is good, I would recommend to anyone wanting to go for a Safari in Kenya.
