I was incredibly fortunate to have Ryan from Untamed Safaris plan my safari trip of a lifetime. Ryan was simply AMAZING, and I honestly don’t believe the experience would have been as wonderful without him.
He took the time to understand the type of traveller I am and planned everything perfectly, from how long I stayed in each place to how the journey was divided. I saw absolutely everything I had hoped for, including the migration and the most incredible up-close animals.
Ryan went above and beyond to ensure every detail aligned with my other commitments and even considered arrangements outside his own bookings so nothing was overlooked. His knowledge, care, and attention to detail (and such patience with my 101 questions!!) made the entire journey truly extraordinary. Last summer, I took a safari trip to Murchison Falls with Matunda Tours, and I was very impressed with how well everything was arranged. The entire tour was well planned and organized. Kyooma Gorilla Safaris created memories that will last a lifetime!
Our guide Shever really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. He was our bodyguard at the local markets, our personal photographer and comedian, and encyclopaedia on local culture. The highlight of course was the gorillas, but Shiva also saw how much I admired the local women’s technique of carrying babies and facilitated a lesson for me.
I wish Shever and the company all the best and will definitely be recommending them to my family and friends!

Shever was a fantastic guide. Energetic and accommodating.
Kyooma Gorilla Safaris offered a fantastic all inclusive gorilla tracking experience. Our guide Shever was fun, flexible and topped off what was an already incredible experience.
Kyooma Gorilla Safaris and Shever were flexible with our wishes and took us to see markets and have unique local experiences that weren't planned.
The organisation was fantastic and made the golden monkey experience, gorilla experience and border crossings carefree with all of the paperwork handled by Kyooma.
Accommodation was also fantastic and in particular Embarambi lodge in Uganda which I wished we could have spent more time at.
Finally the gorilla experience was unforgettable and Bwindi national park in Uganda would undoubtedly be my pick if I ever do it again due to the proximity to and number of gorillas we were able to see.

The trip with Festo was spectacular. While the viewing of wildlife and the big 5 exceeded all our expectations, and lodging was great, our guide Festo made sure everything went smoothly and every request was met and exceeded. Festo was not just personable but extremely knowledgeable!

PERFECT
Our safari with Nkollo Tours & Safaris was an amazing experience that we will never forget. From the beginning to the end, everything was well organized and we always felt comfortable and safe.
A special mention goes to our guide, Ringo. He was one of the best parts of the experience. His passion for wildlife was clear every day, and his knowledge and explanations helped us understand and appreciate the animals much more. He was also very patient and always tried to give us the best possible experience.
We were lucky enough to see so many incredible animals and moments during the safari, and Ringo made every sighting even more special with his explanations.
The accommodations were all beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the food was always very good.
The only thing we might change would be the itinerary on the last day. Lake Manyara had fewer animals than we expected at this time of year, so personally we would have preferred an extra day in the Ngorongoro Crater. However, this was part of the itinerary agreed from the beginning and was not Ringo’s responsibility at all.
Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience. Thank you to Nkollo Tours & Safaris and especially to Ringo for making our safari such a beautiful and unforgettable adventure.

A tour operator that listens and delivers!
From the first communication with Jerome, it was smooth and easy despite our time difference. We love the package which included 2 campsites. As this was our first safari, obviously I have a lot of questions and Jerome responded swiftly.
Accommodations we were put in were all lovely. They were basic but had everything you need. All the toilets in Tanzania have bidets!
Miguel greeted us at Kilimanjaro airport and took us to our accommodation. We met with Abraham, our tour guide throughout the safari who is very experienced and knowledgeable. He did his best to bring us as close - yet safe distance to the animals as possible. It was mind blowing!
Meru also has their own safari chef who prepares meals for us. We got chef Borhan who is an excellent cook, and we truly enjoyed the meals. It was way more than we have expected.
Jambo Bwana was our anthem every day and we danced together.
I highly recommend Meru Slopes Tours & Safari for your Tanzania adventures!
