Melita is fabulous
5/5

We did a four day safari with Suricata Safaris. Melita was our driver and guide and oh my word he was amazing. He certainly knows his stuff and is passionate about his country and the animals. It made for a magical experience. We saw all the big 5 and more. I would highly recommend.

Extremely knowledgeable, patient and passionate about his job.

What a fantastic 3 days in the Maasai Mara with my family. Can not recommend Axis Africa and Ritchie more. We were spoiled seeing the Big 5 twice and even a leopard hunting. We will definitely be back again!

An excellent operator with great tours
5/5

During a week long stay in Kenya, my partner and I went on two trips with African Beasts (a two-day safari in Amboseli and a trip to Hell’s gate). Both were superbly well organised, with excellent and accommodating guides and drivers.

Absolutely extraordinary

As a regular guest to the area, Chobe house has set a very high standard and great experience, set in the heart of the action.
A must if you go to the Kasane region.

Superb Serengeti Safari at Asanja Nyasirori Camp by Asanja Africa.
5/5

We were a group of 6 and we spent 4 nights at the recently commissioned Asanja Nyasirori Camp of Asanja Africa from 9th to 12th June 2026. My impressions and experience in this Camp is briefly stated below:

CAMP LOCATION:
The Camp has an excellent hillside location in the proximity of Grumeti River – overlooking the scenic valley below with occasional sightings of large herds of migrating wildebeest as well as elephants and impalas – with hyenas calling almost throughout the night and occasional roar of lion. As we were checking in at the Camp on the 9th we were thrilled to witness thousands of migrating wildebeest file past in the valley not too far from the Camp.

ACCOMODATION:
The Camp is a modern unique rendition of traditional ethnic concepts with a luxurious lay-out. All amenities in the rooms were top-class. Each spacious unit was cleverly hidden from the adjacent unit by green foliage and enjoyed a superb view of the valley below. What we missed however was a curtain between the bedroom and bath/toilet area for providing better privacy. Also, during mid-day the rooms (probably because of the concrete structure and external colour scheme) became rather warm making it difficult to get an afternoon nap (which we feel is necessary to be fresh for the evening game drive). The performance of the fan above the bed was not adequate enough to make a difference. A portable table/stand fan near the bed would easily solve this issue.

FOOD:
The food served (both occidental and oriental) were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the authentic vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes prepared by the Chef as per our suggestions. What we missed here was the preparation of bakery items in the Camp.

SERVICE:--
Service was absolutely top-class, courteous, efficient and professional in all aspects – whether in the room, dining, lounge or in any other area of the Camp. All requirements of guests were met promptly.

GAME-DRIVES & WILDLIFE:--
We were fortunate to witness the arrival of the wildebeest migrating herds. The sight of large migrating herds at Nyasirori swamp was breath-taking. Plenty of other animals, including lions, elephants and antelopes – not too far from the Camp. We however could not witness any crossings of Grumeti River by the migrating herds. We saw very few other safari vehicles in our Game-drives and enjoyed most of the sightings almost exclusively -- which was a huge plus point.

DRIVER-GUIDES :--
Our Driver-Guides, Toshi (Emanuely Pallagyo) and Hamidu (Hamidu Adinani Mgwano), were simply superb in every way. Their expertise gave us the best game-drive experience. They were extremely courteous, always cheerful and amiable and full of enthusiasm to show us all that was ever possible in the game-drives while at the same time enriching us with their expert knowledge regarding our wildlife sightings. The Special Photographic Vehicles allotted by Asanja Africa were a great help in capturing some impressive scenes during our game-drives – more so because Toshi and Hamidu knew exactly when and where to place the vehicle for the best photographic shots. The credit for our super Safari experience goes to a very large extent to these two Driver-Guides. From my personal experience with 7 Safari outings so far, I will rate them among the best Driver-Guides that I have come across.

In conclusion, we thank Ajay Singh of Asanja Africa for coordinating our Safari from beginning to end in a seamless manner for a hassle-free and truly enjoyable experience. We will certainly recommend Asanja Nyasirori, especially during June when the wildebeest migration is passing through this area. Accommodation, food and service is excellent - so is the wildlife sightings, without the crowd of safari vehicles.

Very kind, communicative and helpful
5/5

Overall we had a great safari with Josana tours. Joseph was very communicative and quick to respond. We had three guides over the course of the tour. James and Joel were both great - they were able to help us see a lot of animals. I would certainly book with them again - good value for price and felt safe the entire tour.

Elikana was incredibly informative and friendly.
5/5

I took a private half day safari in Nairobi National Park, visited the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and ate at Carnivore. From the first moment I contacted Kichaka, I was put at ease. Mercy responded promptly and professionally with each of my questions and was able to customize my trip how I wanted, including a last minute add. My guide, Elikana, was incredibly informative, taught me so much about the animals and plants, knew the Park incredibly well and was warm and friendly. It was an unforgettable experience!! 10/10 would recommend. Very affordable, great communication, once-in-a-lifetime trip!
