Dream come true
5/5

My wife and I booked a 7 Days Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli mid range safari with African Comfort Zone (ACZ) safaris after we were referred by our friend who had used this company the previous year. ACZ safaris's team made it easy for us from the first email. John was quick to answer our numerous questions. We made payment 6months earlier through wire transfer and they booked everything in advance. There was an option to pay via creditcard or paypal but we found it alittle high at 7% transaction surcharge.

We saw all the big 5 and even got a chance to stay at the hotel where Queen Elizabeth slept as a princess and woke up as a queen after her father died at night. John was kind enough to even organise for us to be allocated the "Queens Suite". A staff woke up us at night so that we can see a black rhino that was at the watering hole just outside our suite. We also had a chance to see more rhinos at Lake Nakuru, both white and black that live freely at this park. We also got to enjoy the Rothschild's giraffe which we learn't was endangered spieces. There was a variety of birdlife including a few flamingos too.

Our highlight was at Masai Mara where we got a chance to see a cheetah successfully hunt a Thomson gazelle and then lose its meal to a pack of hyenas. We were also lucky enough to see a coalition of 5 cheetahs and a leopard on a sausage tree feeding on impala carcass . Masai Mara was outstanding and I recommend it to all who are passionate about wildlife, from grazers like elephants, Masai giraffe and zebras to mating lions, hyenas, leopards and cheetahs it was really fascinating.

We also visited and had a boat ride at the beautiful Lake Naivasha full of birdlife including the fish eagles and pelicans and giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbuck, impalas and other grazers browsing around the Lake. We finally ended our safari at Amboseli the home of elephants. Here there were big heards of elephants almost every corner of the park. The views of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the observation hill where we had our packed lunch are outstanding. Our Guide Martin did surpassed our expectations and we were thoroughly satisfied. We will be back next year, Thank you ACZ safaris.

5/5

It was a pleasure to go on Safari with Cheetah. All around it has been a great trip. The organisation before was very good an flexible and they adapted the program as it fits for us the most. The accomondations were chosen very well and we had a great time. Rooms and food was always very good. Apart from this our driver Robert and all the other people were very friendly and cared about us very well. Thank you for showing us the Pearl of Africa!

Liselle, just a quick note to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed staying at Makumu Lodge and your recommendation for this place. We have stayed at many different places over the years, but I can assure you this tops all other. It was absolutely fantastic, 5 star in every respect, and I can highly recommend this place to any other clients you may have. They will not be disappointed.
It is a small all inclusive luxury boutique lodge in a complete private setting. The safari game drives were excellent. The Zulu king bed suite was amazing. And the food-----:-) and the company during breakfasts and dinners with the managers, and owner on the last day….it made us feel more like family members than guests. I really can’t say enough about it.
Thanks for putting us into this lodge!! Great experience and the best we had on our 4 weeks travels in Africa. We will certainly be in touch on our next trip, and recommend you to our friends as well!
Kind regards,
Bill and Nellie from Canada

Wonderful Experience, everything went to plan.

We chose Pembury Tours because our friends had used them previously. We communicated via email and the occasional phone call with Kerry. She was marvelous to deal with. We left it up to her to decide where we would stay and we were very happy with the itinerary she put together for us. We loved every minute of our two weeks in Africa.

The whole trip was booked by Patrick who was so incredibly helpful. I am a travel agent and won tickets to South Africa. I had no idea about S Africa at all. I did my due diligence to find a good tour operator. After reading reviews of Milotours I decided to book with them. Patrick was fast getting me a price and literally walked me through everything I ever need to know for my trip. I feel like I sent him an endless barrage of emails with a ton of questions and Patrick was patient and answered them all. even my questions about tipping the Safari leaders. Our guides were amazing and really knowledgeable. They were actually rangers from Kruger park so they know the park like the back of their hands. they were able to spot wildlife that we would have never seen on our own. when Rasta our favorite guide stopped at night and pointed out a chameleon that was maybe 6 inches in a tree, I was convinced he must have had a bionic eye.

The scenery was amazing. the weather was great, although very cold before and after the sun went down, but we were prepared as Patrick had told me to layer while we were on Safari. Patrick even gave me pointers about cape town and Johanasburg, which we actually booked on our own. The accommodations were fine, we stayed just outside the park to keep the cost down. When Patrick said we were 500 meters from the Kruger gate, he was spot on. I told him I was worried about the down time between the Safari's while at the resort, e sent me various day trips etc....we ended up finding the onsite spa and spent the days there, which was lovely. All and all Patrick really made the trip special which was amazing, as I really had no idea where to start. Being a travel agent made it really nice for someone else to actually handle all the details.
Patrick is a star and a first rate tour operator, and I really appreciate all he did for us.

Great experience with African Savannah Trekkers!
5/5

We met our guide, Eli, on the Kenya/Tanzania border. He guided us through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater for 4 days before flying out of Arusha. We stayed at the Kubu Kubu Tented Camp and the Ngorongoro Farm House, both were fantastic. Our guide, Eli, was very knowledgeable and really great to be around for our time there...the game drives he took us on were amazing! Absolutely fantastic experience and would highly recommend African Savannah Trekkers. Trip of a lifetime...

Lovely tour with great resorts, safe drives and great views.

My family and I had a great time with Aroni and his tour company. We booked a tour for serengeti and ngorongoro with him. Aroni has organized great resorts for convenient stays. He selected the right roads to show us every kind of wild animal. We even watched Lions hunting. All in all it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks for everything Aroni!

Stressful experience for our 6 th Safari to Tanzania as Peter Malinda had clearly got serious financ
2/5

We. Travelled with two friends for their 1st and our 6th Safari in Tanzania. Peter Malinda had been an excellent guide with our previous Safari Company and we decided to support his company. All was well on arrival but we discussed a visit to Arusha National Park whist staying for our first day in Dilutu Lodge Arusha, this did not occur.Travel to Ngorongoro plus a Crater tour the following day was fine.
When we reached the gate to the Serengeti we discovered Peter had not payed the Park fees. After two hours of his failure to transfer payments to the Park Authories we paid over 500 USD by Visa. The next two days were only half day Safari trips asPeter wished to visit a tented lodge he. Had set up near te Seroners river, which was having problems. On our return trip to Manyara he stopped at Serengeti Airport as we found our payment had only covered one day Park fees and a further 1000 USD was required to cover the remaining two days. 6 hours of stress at the airport, including the attendance of the Police finally found Peter arranging money transfer to the Parh Authorities. He then drove like a man possessed to the Serengeti gate where we were told we could not cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area until a further 350USD was found. After one hour Peter was unable to raise this money so we paid again by Visa. We arrived at Manyara in the dark at 8.30pm instead of the planned 1.00 pm. We had eaten nothing from breakfast. That mornings d missed the afternoon Manyara game drive.
The following day we returned to Diluti Lodge.
Peter then failed to pick us up at the agreed time and we had to pay a further 100 USD fora taxi to the airport.
Peter Malinda had received full payment for all hotels and Park Fees etc. In early March. He told us he would pay back the money we spent to the Parks but this has not occurred.
This trip became a disaster, anxiety inducing experience from what seemed to us a fraudulent company having clearly used a part of our payment for other than the arrangements for our Safari.
