Amazing Safari to Ol Pejeta! Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffes, Chimps, everything!
5/5

From start to finish we had an amazing experience with Africa McFlash Tours. We communicated and planned our trip with Peter, who was super responsive throughout the booking process. Once we arrived in Nairobi, we were picked up by Peter to meet up with our guide Patrick. The drive up to Ol Pejeta was scenic and we saw zebra's and giraffe's along the way, while nice cold bottled water was offered to us.

Once we got to the Sweetwaters Serena camp, we were blown away. The watering hole in the middle of the camp for the animals to come and drink from did the trick. We saw a family of 8 elephants with 3 babies in tow come for a visit which was truly breathtaking. The high end tents at Sweetwaters were impressive, carpeted floors, tiled bathroom, large bed, we were impressed. The food was great as well, with a great variety of options available!

Lastly, our guide Patrick was simply incredible. He was super knowledgeable, had a great eye for spotting the animals and punctual in picking us up for our game drives. Overall, we would highly recommend booking your safari with Peter and Africa Flash McTours!

Beautiful country and professional company
5/5

I visited Africa and Uganda gave me the most memorable experiences. When I contacted Mukisa Safaris Uganda, their replies were always prompt and genuine. They advised me on how to go along with the tour. indeed my trip was customised according to my preferences and I can't thank them enough for the way my trip was organized and executed. We had a very good guide Veronica and driver John who are very professional, friendly and curtious.
We visited Jinja , Murchison falls , Queen Elizabeth national parks and Saw alot of animals. Africa is indeed where nature is and it was unbelievable that we were just walking in the midst of animals which we had only seen on TV.
Gorilla tracking was awesome and it's such a wonderful experience that every person should undertake when you visit Uganda. It involved walking up and down in the thick forest for several hours and when we finally saw them,it was such amazing standing a few metres from these huge creatures. I really thank the team of Mukisa Safaris for my Wonderful trip and I recommend them for everyone in the world who wants to travel to Uganda to seek their services

Highly impressed with the level of highly personalised approach we received!
5/5

Diederik and his team did an amazing job! This was our very first safari so we had no clue about the types of accommodation, time of the year, locations and other little things that all play an important part in your itinerary. Diederik was incredibly patient with us, took time to explain everything to the littlest of detail. We kept changing our preferences and itinerary, yet he always remained not only professional but it was apparent that he really enjoys helping us with our trip.
Everyone in the team was super lovely and responded incredibly quickly to our intricate enquiries. Nothing was a problem and they had a number of solutions or alternatives at hand.
I would recommend African Ubuntu Safaris wholeheartedly.

The trip exceeded all expectations due to Cuan's excellent knowledge of Southern Africa.
5/5

Cuan tailored the experiences to meet the needs of a fairly diverse group of people very well. He communicated directly with camps when necessary to ensure all went smoothly. We enjoyed a range of adventures from canoeing on the Zambezi to spending time with meerkats, which all balanced perfectly to ensure we maximised our time and enjoyed a brilliant trip. Would recommend Ubuntu to friends without hesitation.

About: Kenya
We visited Katanga forest, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara and Amboseli over 9 days

Kenya is a great place to visit on safari. We enjoyed everywhere we went - which was a self picked itinerary. In retrospect I think we should have visited fewer parks in the time available as we did have some long days driving. Our driver was excellent at finding game for us - and was always keen to find as much as possible for us to see!
Food and accommodation everywhere was very good.

An extremely well organised itinerary by the Cardboard Box Company with varied accommodation. Local guides were excellent and informative. Scenery was spectacular and the weather behaved itself! We saw a lot of very varied wildlife especially in Etosha National Park. We enjoyed the flexibility of our 4x4 self drive.

About: Mozambique
Dive adventure in the Quirimbas archipelago
Overall rating
3/5

Our cruise in the Quirimbas archipelago was rather difficult : we were not welcomed. Most of the islands are private so we were not allowed to land. Even though we had a permit, sometimes we were not allowed to anchor.
We visited Ibo island : the village is out of time, a very pleasant and peaceful place where people are very quiet and the colors at the end of the afternoon on the old buildings were so beautiful. Some species of birds were standing in the mangrove but we didn't have enough time for bird watching.
The dive conditions were difficult : courant, poor visibility. But whatever we had good times and Neptune's arms dive site is amazing. Many schools of fish, lutjanus, caranx and also reef white sharks.

It was really awesome tour

A GREAT TOUR WITH GREAT PEOPLE!
From start to finish this trip was perfect. In Tanzania, our guide was a top notch professional and extremely knowledgeable, taking us off the beaten path to provide us with an unrivalled experience in the parks. Dahlia’s advices for Tanzania were also unimpeachable. Our guide provided us with a social and political perspective no travel brochure could provide. It was a privilege for us to have him share his story with us which was honest, raw, and poignant and changed us in profound ways. We surprised by the level of hospitality from the owner of Dahlia Africa, he organized for us a free BBq dinner at the end of our trip and he bother to drive us to the airport himself he made us felt we paid less for all we got. We recommend you to our friends and travelers.

An adventure - experiencing the African bush in true African style on a mobile safari
5/5

I went on a 7-day mobile safari in November, 2018 with my two daughters and their husband/boyfriend. We experienced the African bush as it should be experienced within our own private group! Philimon, owner and managing director of Walking Stick Travel and Tour,s worked with me to customize our safari vie e-mail. We spent two nights in the Okavango Delta with Kenny as our guide, two nights in Khwai Concession and two nights in Kasane to swim in Devil's Pool at Victoria Falls in Zambia. Philimon demonstrated knowledge of the parks when he suggested Khwai over Moremi because we coud drive off-road in search of game. That allowed us to view animals right alongside our truck! Philimon has a vast knowledge of the animals - where they frequent as well as general behaviors. He placed our safety first with campsite rules, mokoro (traditional canoes used in the Delta) rules and walking safari rules. The food was great; cooked over a campfire by our chef, Joe. Though the basics of our safari were top-notch, it's the little things that raise a good safari to an excellent safari. This is where Philimon and his team excelled. We were picked up at the airport by Philimon and Joe the day before our safari. Joe questioned our dietary issues and took our drink requests before shopping. Philimon drove us to our B&B and later brought us to dinner. Both he and Kenny, our Delta guide, sat with us for meals and at the fire at night. We had great conversations about the animals of Africa as well as Botswana's history and culture, and their personal stories. We experienced and learned so much more than simply viewing animals. Philimon demonstrated a true love of the animals (Imagine your guide photographing animals alongside you and exclaiming, "Wow!"). He also persevered when searching for game. He heard of a leopard sighting, so we drove round and round looking for the elusive leopard. Eventually we stopped to view the sunset, but Philimon did not give up. He heard an Impala's warning cry and we sped off to find the leopard. Sure enough, it was a fabulous sighting with no other safari vehicles. We had requested to swim at Devil's Pool at Victoria Falls in Zambia. Philimon had never been, but arranged our swim and navigated us through the border crossing. So, if you are contemplating a safari, book a mobile safari with Philimon and Walking Stick Travel and Tours. You will not be disappointed!
