Amazing Experience!
5/5

We booked the 4 day Masai Mara Safari as our first trip to Africa. From the start Robert was responsive and helpful in our emails.

Our guide was Sam who was amazing. He answered all our questions about the animals and the park and made sure we always got a good spot for viewing the animals and made our experience unforgettable.

The Enkorok Camp we stayed in was great as well!

Insightful
5/5

I was able to spend the month of September visiting South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Matthys created a unique itinerary based on my individual preferences for adventure and interests. He was quick to respond to communications, made reservations in a timely manner and was inquisitive and responsive to requested adjustments.
The tour itself was flawless. Everything happened on time and just as planned. There was not a single issue or concern the entire month of travel. All of the accommodations, transports and flight schedules were safe, comfortable and met or exceeded expectations. Matthys will be the first person I contact when I go back!

Imara Africa Safaris gave me the best safari experience
5/5

My experience with Imara Africa Safaris was exceptional. The Amboseli National Park was a breathtaking journey into Kenya's wildlife, offering stunning views of majestic elephants and diverse flora. Crossing the border into Tanzania at Namanga Border post added an exciting international dimension to the trip. Interacting with the warm and welcoming Tanzanian locals provided insights into their rich culture. Imara Africa Safaris ensured a seamless and enriching adventure, combining wildlife, scenery, and cultural encounters. I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a memorable safari experience. Looking forward to the next one!

It was an amazing experience!
5/5

I booked a day tour at the last minute. and the Biko team was helpful and responded quickly. Compared to online booking, the prices offered are quite affordable. During the trip I encountered unpredictable traffic jams but the guide and driver always gave a positive vibes. So I can still enjoy my trip. Safari day tours are also really fun because they provide detailed explanations and give you time to really see and experience the daily wildlife.

Incredible 14 days safari
5/5

We did a private safari with Papiro adventures for 14 days. We visited Lake Naivasha, Longonot Crater, Hell's Gate,  Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Aberdare, Nairobie, Tsavo West and Amboseli. Overall it was an extraordinary and rewarding adventure.

Strong points
John, our guide, is very attentive, kind and professional, he knows the animals well. He did everything to give us the best experience possible.
Denis our driver knows the parks by heart as if it were his playground, he is passionate and made us make excellent discoveries. Always looking for the best spot, he amazed us.

Weak points
Our program included certain moments (afternoon and/or evening) of relaxation, sometimes in hotels far from points of interest. I would have preferred to have less.

So I loved my experience and I highly recommend this team for your future safari.

Trip of a lifetime - could not have been better
5/5

We traveled to Madikwe from South Africa in late September - stayed at the Tuningi Safari Lodge.
We had some specific requests as we were three people and had a tight timeframe as we had to be back in JoBurg for a flight to Lesotho.
Kathi was SO attentive to our needs and requests - she put together an itinerary that worked for us and fit our budget. She responded to emails or whatsapp messages in a timely way and gave us the attention we needed. She even got us reasonable transportation to and from the hotel before the trip.
The detailed itinerary that is easily accessible from a web link gave us peace of mind and the information we needed to feel comfortable traveling from the United States for this trip.
Tuningi is first class - we couldn't believe how nice the lodge is. Heidi and Gavin were warm and welcoming and the staff is first rate, kind and caring and looking out for every aspect of our experience.
The rooms - suites were amazing, beautiful and comfortable. I felt like I was in a movie...each room has a canopy bed, inviting sitting area with fireplace and coffee service. The bathroom is huge with a full size tub and outdoor shower. They also each have their own private deck with loungers to watch the animals trek to the onsite watering hole (which they do every afternoon).
The food - omg the food was incredible. Fresh, delicious and gourmet. One meal was better than the next. They took great care to make sure we always had what we wanted and every dish was beautifully plated.
Andrew was out guide on each days safari drives (there were 2 a day, 6am and 4pm). Andrew made sure we saw as much as we could and we incredibly knowledgeable about the area, relaying facts about the animals and birds we saw each day. We saw a lot of Elephants, Zebras, Giraffe and Ibex but found something new on each drive.
Whether we were out on game drives, relaxing by the pool or watering hole each day or eating a delicious gourmet meal the staff was the absolute best. I didn't worry about anything.
I would defiantly return to Tuningi and wouldn't hesitate to use African Welcome Safaris again or recommend them to friends.

5/5

Bhekifa worked hard to ensure we saw the big 5 and we did! He was very intelligent about the animals and the plants! He is full of kindness and humility and gives you more than just a safari tour. Thank you, Bhekifa. It was truly a pleasure from my husband and I!

Discover Africa offers excellent tailor made service.
5/5

Many thanks for the comprehensive planning of our 4 day stay in Rwanda with gorilla and golden monkey trekking.
Your partner in Rwanda ensured we get the best experience possible.
Beyond the Volcanoes National Park our driver took us on a city tour in Kigali and showed us the scenic places on our way to the Volcanoes and back.
His expertise was outstanding.
Highly recommended.

Great communication and value for money, even better experience
5/5

My 10 days solo safari in Kenya with Shanjoy was a blast!
Not only great value for money, but a tailormade itinerary and ton and ton of support from the whole Shanjoy team.
Since the first day, Patrick helped me to put together a great itinerary with and endless back and forth of emails in the previous month and several last minute changes to best suit my travel plans. In the end the tour consisted of Nairobi NB, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Ol Pejeta and Aberdare. in hindsight Aberdare could be left out and maybe dedicate one more day to masai mara, but this is mostly due to the very poor experience delivered by The Ark staff, Shanjoy could not do much about that.

As soon as the safari started, it was the time for Joseph to shine. I wasnt sure what to expect as this was my first solo safari this long, but we connected immediately and we had a wonderful time together, felt like a vacation with a good old friend. He's was so kind and talkative that even the long transfers between the parks passed quickly chatting about everything with him. Then it came to the game drives and you can definitely tell he has 15+ years of experience. The Mara felt like his home. Not only for spotting the animals or coordinating with the drivers from the other cars, but also to choose the right place to park the car. Always respectful of the animals and many times predicting their movements and behaviours to get the best angle possible. Thanks to his knowledge (and the amazing landscapes and animals of the kenyan parks), I managed to take hundreds of great photos, probably the best of my life.

I hope to come back soon
