Wild life in confidence and professionnalism
We found Bush Troop safaris on Kato member website list, where we randomly checked many operators for our safary. They were the best choice for tree reasons: the communication was really clear and friendly, the price was fair, and Jacqueline adapts her offers to what we want.
We booked for a budget safari of 11 days, and when we arrived in Nairobi we choose to stay longer with BushTroop Safaris and we booked a treck in Loita Hills to complete our journey.
The safari was very well done in the choice of the places we went because we saw a huge diversity of landscapes and animals. It was also nice with our guide Sammy who I appreciate much because he's a very good guide who can show you animals and give you as many informations you want on them, he's very aware about wildlife and friendly. Accomodations and food (we are vegetarian) were also good, we allways sleept well and safe.
The treck was different and complete well the safari, it's more active. We walked into the wild with our guide Mickael, a cook chef and two massaïs. Those guys were very nice and kind with us. Here we could move slowly in nature to the animals, we saw amazing landcsapes, we listened to massaï songs by the firecamp, we had our shower in the river, slept in a tent, and at the end we went in a massaï village and learnt about their culture. At the end we were very tired but happy! And thanks to the cooker, we ate amazingly well!!!
At the end Jacqueline found us an hotte in our prices and a last day of visits at girafe center and elephant’s orphanage, it was a great choice before leaving.

I have travelled with Cherokee Tours on several occasions and would never go to Kenya with anyone else. Peter Mutisya is the perfect host and guide for whom nothing is too much trouble. Everything about the tours is perfect, from the transport and accommodation to the sightings which exceed expectations every time. We were lucky enough to see wild dogs (I prefer to call them by their other name, painted dogs) on our last trip - a rare, completely unexpected and memorable experience. Peter knows the territories so well and wherever we go, Amboseli (a particular favourite of mine) Samburu, the Mara or anywhere else, he always takes us to where we are most likely to have superb sightings of both mammals and birds. The accommodation Peter arranges is excellent, always with extensive grounds and usually with water-holes, both offering additional opportunities for even more photography! I was unable to visit this year but am hoping so much that I can return in 2021.

Unforgettable experience
I went on a 5 day safari in November. The tour led through the Tarangire National Park via the Ngorongoro Crater Park to the Serengeti. The safari was planned for 5 days but because of the weather I was suggested to only do four days like the rest of the group members. I got my money back and one more night including a hotel in the Gateway Lodge. Overnight stays in the hotel before and after the safari were included, as was the journey by taxi to Kilimanjaro Airport. Our guide Florin was very courteous and gave us all the time to take enough pictures. Thanks to Salim, the food was also good and varied. Except for the rhinoceros, we've all seen the Big Five. Otherwise we could see quite a lot of animals, but unfortunately the weather didn't always play along, which also meant that fewer animals were around. The only thing that confused me and the other participants a little was the indication of the tip per person, as it was not exactly stated whether one had to type per person or per person staff. Otherwise the tour was incredibly exciting and recommended.

My husband and I booked a 11 day safari back in 2019 to travel June 2020 it never happened due to Covid19 but they gave me an assurance of my safari any other time am comfortable as long as the hotels are open and the airport is open. True to their words I flew in on 30th October 2020 and was picked up from the air port by Tamara very friendly lady and she guided us through the new program for the safari every thing went on smoothly we had fun our driver Fredrick was very patient kind and stopped a little bit longer for our sake to watch animals Masai Mara is not to be missed thanks for the company given to us by the entire team from adventure to make us comfortable even though we were the only tourists in the van Tamara Dan and Beatrice made sure we had fun THANK YOU!

Mohammed was super responsive and even picked me up and dropped me off from the airport.
I took the five-day safari and it was amazing. I got to see so many magnificent animals (Elephants, Zebras, Lions, Cheetahs, Hippos, Giraffe, etc). Seeing the animals in their natural habit is something everyone should do at least once. They arranged for Lucas to show me around Arusha and thought me some basic Swahili, which was really useful for the trip. The Swahili langue is really fun with words like Mambo and Jambo meaning hello. I highly recommend this safari.
