Trip of a lifetime - An absolutely wonderful experience!
5/5

Our trip with Mambo Gorilla Safaris was undoubtedly the most unforgettable and unique trip we have ever experienced. The reason we chose to book with Didan and Mambo Gorilla Safaris is because we wanted to see Uganda as it’s meant to be appreciated; in all its authenticity with its lush beauty, terraced hills, fertile plantations, untouched wildlife, and vibrant people. Our trip was 8-days and began from Kigali in Rwanda. During our trip we saw beautiful Lake Bunyonyi and the incredible children at Loving Hearts Uganda, explored the vastness of Queen Elizabeth National Park and its tree climbing lions, stayed in luxury tents at Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp with hippos and hyenas roaming freely throughout the night, floated the Kazinga Channel with crocodiles and elephants, stayed in the beautiful Leopard Camp at Lake Mburo National Park where we saw zebras and giraffes in a golden sunrise, and finally concluded the trip with an epic hike in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see Uganda’s oldest family of mountain gorillas, the Nkuringo family. We were so grateful to see so many incredible sights throughout the trip but what impressed us the most were the people. Our guide, Paul Turyagumanawe, will be a lifelong friend. His effort, attitude, and knowledge throughout the week impressed us tremendously and we had so much fun roaming throughout Uganda with him. We felt 100% safe in his hands throughout the entire trip and he did an incredible job of making sure we had the best possible experience. The little things like buying us bananas or unfamiliar fruit from the street to taking us to see places off the beaten path really made us feel special. We felt like he went the extra mile at all times and we’re grateful we can now call him a friend.

What Didan is doing with Mambo Gorilla Safaris, the Bunyonyi View Resort, and especially Loving Hearts Uganda is changing peoples lives. We were so pleased to hear that 30% of our very reasonable tour fees were going to help the ~130 children at Loving Hearts Uganda. If you have the chance to visit them, it’s an absolute MUST. The highlight of our trip was spending time with them singing, dancing and seeing their smiling and loving faces. They have so much love to give and only ask for your kindness in return.

There is a tremendous amount to learn and to experience while in Uganda and we’re so grateful Didan prepared such a wonderful itinerary and Paul executed it to perfection. If you want a customizable, affordable, unique and unforgettable safari experience, this is the right company to choose.

Amazing safari. Ombeni was a skilled driver with much humour and knowledge. Lodges outstanding.
5/5

Perfect. We saw wild animals in abundant numbers in an overwhelming landscape. The lodges were great, service, view over the wide serengeti with sunset under an acacia, wonderful dinner, the chef cuisine did an incredible job out there in the middle of nowhere. Our driver-guide Ombeni was skilled, with a great sense of humour and he knew everything. Asante sana.

It was magnific Safari tour that in all the tour they had an incredible service in all the senses. Me and my friends we had 2 days safari with Shanga tours and safaris and from the first day we had very good connection with the tour guide (Thanks Henry), He explain to us everything about the animals and spots that we had during the trip. #Henry number 1. The tour guide was totally good in the whole trip. We enjoyed so much with him, his pattient and good humour with us for taking pictures everywhere and talk about everything of the safari was very good. He struggled a lot to search the best animals around for looking at them. The jeep is super comfortable, the roof is nice to have other views. The windows is ok. Generally, the car is perfect for the tour. Thank you so much Shanga tours and safaris.

Very satisfied with the trip to Africa!
5/5

Although the trip was a bit hard, it was well worth it. Close contact with wild animals and seeing the magnificent local wildlife environment, this feeling is really impossible to express with words. If you love life and love nature, you really should go. I especially like our driver, Solomon, who took care of us all the way, and also taught my children to sing local songs, and I was very happy along the way.

We used Savannah Explorers for a 7 day safari and could not be any happier with our experience! Our guide Junior was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, but most importantly he has an unreal ability to spot animals (which is the whole point of the safari!) The whole thing was amazing but I’ll highlight our first full day in the Serengeti in particular-Junior asked if we would mind a slightly longer drive to be closer to the Migration, and of course we said yes. Even though it was a longer and harder drive for him (the roads in the park are challenging) he went out of his way to make sure we had the best day possible. We ended up seeing a pride of lions, more than 10 cheetahs, including a family which is really rare, and another pride of lions in the midst of a giant herd of wildebeest. It felt like we were in a nature documentary. Over the course of the safari we also saw the full Big 5, and way more. As for the company Savannah explorers itself, they were easy to communicate with, the accommodations they put us in were all great (especially Marera View Lodge which doesn’t seem to have a page on here yet but I would HIGHLY recommend) and we felt it was a very good value. This safari was part of our 3 week honeymoon in Tanzania and it was a truly unforgettable experience!!

We enjoyed our Chinese new year festival break in Kenya and Tanzania 11 days trip. My family were so happy. Driver was amazing, good food, good car, and good service. Price was very fair compare with other agent. I met the founder in their own famous Chinese restaurant Mr Li, very friendly to us, tell us his stories when he came to Kenya in 1980s. Nice people and nice trip.

Recommend Sino Africa to anybody and everybody!

I decided to go for a two days safari with Jiwe Adventures after completing the Kilimanjaro hike with them. I thought that after living such a wonderful experience Jiwe adventures would provide a similar experience with the safari and I was right. Our safari guide was amazed... as was I, that the first day revealed such a great variety of animals. Jiwe adventures is a well organized company with employees who respect their customers and see to their well being. I can't emphasize enough about the great experience and adventures I lived while in the hands of these people which I hold in high regards.

Was an amazing experience, we could not wish more what we received from the Wakamda team!

From the begging Bartho was really helpful and always available. He also picked us up from the airport and gave us all the information what we needed. The 4 days safari was just amaizing. Our guide Ernest and our safe Chilli was helping us in any cases, any time. Our safari experience was something what we could not even imagine. That was our first safari but definitely not the last! Thank you for everything again! Wakanda forever!

We had an amazing trip and an absolutely carefree vacation
5/5

We went on a trip to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West and Diani Beach.
Classic journey did an excellent job in organising the whole trip. The choice of Nationalparks and Hotels/Camps was excellent - every place has its very own charm and is worth the visit! Everything was very well organised from the pick-up in Nairobi to the drop-off at the airstrip in Ukunda.

A special thanks goes to Sami, our guide! Even while driving, he spottet most of the animals before we did :) he knows the flora & fauna, is an exceptional driver and has a good sense of humour. Thanks for taking us on this adventure ;)

We loved our Safari with Mufasa!
5/5

We had a more than wonderful time on our safari with Mufasa. When I initially started looking to plan a safari, I reached out to multiple different safari companies. A Mufasa rep responded quickly and sent options at different price points. Mufasa let me pull a couple things from the different price points to work with my budget to create a plan that worked for me.
For the first half of the safari we were visiting the Masai Mara and had a driver named Samuel, we called him Sam. Sam was so friendly and welcoming. He took us all over the Masai Mara and was able to show us 4 of the big 5. We were able to see 11 cheetahs, 5 lions, 1 leopard, 3 rhinos, and tons of giraffes, elephants, birds, etc. The drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara and back is very long, but Sam made it very enjoyable. By the end of the trip we were singing in the car together. Sam’s English was great, he also spoke Spanish perfectly too. He was very knowledgeable on all the animals and was able to answer all our questions.
The second half of the trip we visited Lake Nakuru and Amboseli with a guide named Charles. Charles was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the animals as well. We were able to see the rhinos which completed the big 5 for us. Charles took us all over and was very patient with us and our many questions. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals and changing terrains. Charles took us out on the last day to see the sunrise in Amboseli which was amazing with Mount Kilimanjaro.
All the lodges and parks were beautiful. We used a land rover for half the trip and a safari van the other half to save money. Both were great for viewing the animals. The different parks and reserves were all so beautiful. My husband and I were more than pleased with how easy and carefree the planning was using Mufasa. We have no complaints. Everything went as planned. My husband and I have traveled a good bit, but this trip was one of the best we have ever done.
Do not miss out on the hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara if you can afford it. It was like nothing I have ever experienced. The visit to the village of the Masai Tribe was also very interesting and moving- if you can this is an amazing experience as well.
