Great Safari with great guide!
We booked a 3 days Safari with Serengenti and Ngorongoro Crata for my wife and our (adult) daughter. It was a great experience and we saw indeed all of the so called "Big Five" and much more wild animals. I think we had luck, but our great guide Castor made this possible. We discussed with Castor our wishes (for example, my daughter wanted to see lions and elephants very close and my wish was to see a rhino) and he took the right roads/paths to have the best possible views. All animals where very close to our Landcruiser and at the last day I even saw an (very rare) rhino. Everything was as described in the offer, even the picture of the Serengeti Tented Camp reflects the reality. Meals were also fantastic and that much, that we are not able to eat everything. But a raptor (Milan) had fun, when he stole my daughter her food on the 3rd day, when we made a picknick at Ngorongoro Crata. Castor, again thanks for these 3 memorable days. If I will make a Safari sometime again, than I will definitely make it with you and your team!

Beware of rip-offs
I booked a seven day safari with Kennafrica Adventures, which included the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. The exposé was excellent, and the tour was slightly more expensive than comparable tours, which would have been absolutely fine considering the services promised.
Unfortunately, the stated inclusive services were not provided.
For example, a walking safari at night, a visit to a Masai village, a photography workshop, a visit to an elephant sanctuary, or cheetah tracking on foot, to name but a few.
The tour was ultimately carried out by a third-party provider (I would give this provider at least four stars).
What is particularly annoying here, however, is that this provider was (initially) not paid. Kennafrica Safaris was then suddenly no longer available by phone or otherwise, so I first had to advance money to the subcontractor in order to continue with the safari. Only after many (unanswered) phone calls and threats with lawyers, the police and the Ministry of Tourism was the corresponding fee finally paid, 770 dollars. I myself had paid 1200 dollars. The considerable difference might in my view be explained by the omission of services that were promised but not provided. All in all, a very disappointing experience and so different from all the hospitality that one usually experience throughout Kenya.
Finally, I can absolutely recommend the route itself, especially the Masai Mara, and also our driver Evans did a great job.
To be fair, they have apologized for all the inconvenience, but I personally would not book with them again.

Hope I can visit back someday
We had a 10 days trip in Kenya, visited all must go spots including Nairobi city tour, amposeli, masai mara, nakuru and navaisha. Regarding hotels booked, the price Meektrails offered is the best of all. This is one big reason we chose this agency. Another reason is Pauline. Pauline is our trip designer, she is very thoughtful and patient with us. Even add us through wechat, which may not be easy for her but really boost communication efficiency with chinese customers. She took care of SIM card, hot air balloon booking for us and answered detailed questions like vaccinations, money exchange very fast! She also helped with room exchange even it’s after her work hours. All in all, she’s awesome!
What’s more surprising, is our driver/guide, Patrick. He’s such a gentleman that he wouldn’t talk too much as he know Asians are shy and not talkative, but he also wouldn’t forget to share anything that’s necessary for us to know. On cultural, religion, nationality, especially on animals. His great eyesight helped us spot animals smoothly, we even saw the whole process of cheetah hunting.
I can talk more and more about these two awesome people, but after all, this is great experience that I recommended to all friends interested in visiting Africa. Hope they can continue delivering great services to more people and make people fall in love with Africa.

Perfect tour, perfect spotter, best for Safari
Safari. How long should you drive? We chose 8 days as we wanted to see Taragiere, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. And we chose Bujo-Tours for our trip. Booked from Germany, all information in English. Safari in Tanzania is expensive, so we were looking for an inexpensive but safe alternative. And Bujo-Tours promised it all. So, let's go.
We met our guide and driver Nick and our cook in the typical safari Toyota in Arusha. Off to Taragiere Park and we immersed ourselves in the world of the Big Five. Nick is a good spotter, he discovers what a European misses. Everyone finds zebras, but giraffes are amazingly camouflaged in the savannah.
What can I say. We saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, a serval cat, warthogs, hyenas and ostriches many times. Everywhere, of course, there are elephants, zebras, gazelles of various species, wildebeests and lots of diverse birds, from eagles to flycatchers. Landscapes, trees and many exotic plants were photographed. Even if not all images captured a new subject, we shot over 10,000 times. It was a joy, an adventure, a fantastic experience to spend these 8 days with Nick & Co.
Highly recommended.

Amazing honeymoon!
My husband and I were looking to have an epic honeymoon in East Africa, and Camptrek made it happen! The trip itself was perfect - the activities were well planned, the accommodations were comfortable and the guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. There are a few things we wanted to do that weren’t part of the original itinerary (museum visits, etc.) that they helped to arrange. The pre-trip communication was excellent. Camptrek provided detailed packing lists and had a few calls with us to ensure we had the correct visa paperwork. I would highly recommend Camptrek to anyone looking for a stress-free trip!

Good Luck was incredibly knowledgable, very personable, and we recommend him 100%!
We were impressed with Lion Kings communication with us before the trip and the service they provided. We saw the Big 5 and our guide made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. We saw more monkeys, giraffes, lions, tigers, cheetahs and elephants than we ever imagined we would see. Got great photos! The accomodations were wonderful. We would definately choose Lion King again!

Kind and family-oriented guide.
Jackson was responsive and helpful to plan a last minute trip to Jinja. We had an excellent experience that was enjoyed by my elderly mother. He was very patient and flexible and tried to cater to any requests while keeping on schedule. If we had more time we would have planned more trips as Jackson is very knowledgeable of the different things to see in Uganda.

Every step of this tour was just absolutely professional.
I was alone on this safari tour to Mikumi and I arranged everything with Lenard in a few hours, just 2 days before coming from Slovenia. Everything was so easy and convincing. Hard to say not. We left yesterday (3 Nov) early in the morning from Dar. The driver, Alfonso, and the guide, Idd, were punctual. We immediately felt like we know each other for qjite some time. Driving was very professional and I felt safe every moment although the conditions on the way were not very good, lots of trafic, trucs, rain... Idd is very friendly and nice, he provides answers to all questions. As a guide he is pointing out just the most important information about the animals and their importance in the ecosystems. I hate guides that cannot stop explaining and talking all the time. I rather ask questions and focus. And Idd was perfect in this sense. We all went along very easy and I can only regret I could not stay longer. Lenard, you have a great team. As we have a saying in Slovenia "to take them home". Thank you all for this experience that I will never forget. My smartphone is full of pics of animals and of 'life' along the road to Mikumi.
