Mt goal for this journey from Arizona to Tanzania was specifically for The Great Migration in Serengeti National Park. The roads were very, very rough and bumpy, but to be expected. It is what it is. The weather was ideal, the food just fine, but three experiences were my highlights: (1) our guide was amazing. He sensed where the animals were and usually got our safari vehicle in position before all of the others - therefore - some incredible closeups of the Big 5 and many others. (2) the Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp was a unique experience. It was all of our favorite lodging. (3) the Great Migration images are in my mind, heart and soul forever. This quote, from me, says it all: “My passion in photography is to capture the essence of the culture, the people, the beauty of their country as well as reflect on how they live. The images for this journey in Africa, for The Great Migration, cannot be captured in a few photographs. One has to experience it. And then, it will never be forgotten.”

Fast response and great tour guide
Fred was able to organize a tour last minute without a problem. Fast communication was key and all the asks to customize the tour were promptly fulfilled. Guide/Driver was kind, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to help me get some gear needed for the tour, like boots, socks and gloves. All in all, a great pleasure doing business with.

Absolutely good organized by Makasa safaris
Good communication with Makasa.
We had a lot of amazing experiences in every park we visited.
The guide Daniel knew exactly where the interesting places were to see the wild animals.
And on top of everything we had some Young cheeta's climbing at the back of our jeep to have a good vieuw.
We did not know anything like that could be possible.
Alle the lodges were very good and the food more than enough and good quality.

Wonderful 7day-trip to Kidepo Valley National Park and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Back in cold Holland we have the best memories about our week to Kidepo and Ziwa with your driver/guide Sam Lugayizi.
We made a wonderfull trip with the comfortable Landcruiser , with nice lodges with good food and with attractive activities.
Sam proved to be a very pleasant companion, a safe driver and guide, and a man with a lot of knowledge about nature, birds and beasts.
Everything was perfectly organized. We really have no suggestions for improvement!

Joseph was an amazing and informative guide.
We didn’t have a rep so Joseph was our rep & tour guide. He explained a lot and showed us around. This was a great experience, especially traveling during thanksgiving by myself. When I come back I hope Joseph is around.
