Fantastic Gorillas and Wildlife Safari
We had a family tour earlier this year with African Rock Safaris LTD to Bwindi. Seeing the Gorillas was definitely our highlight (even though it rained in Bukola during the trekking) and thanks to Christopher for his excellent communication and flexibility, who booked the tour, secured us Gorilla permits despite our late notice and interest for the tour!
Our 2 nights in Buhoma were at Ride 4 a Woman whose staffs were so hospitable and helpful all the time. I recommend this lodge too.
The tour to Lake Mburo was also awesome with an overnight at Mpogo lodge. We really liked the community tour of the farm and milking of the Ankole Long horned cattle. I really recommend Mpogo Lodge.
Lastly, many thanks to the choice of our driver guide Joseph Jazz for his wide scope of knowledge in Wildlife and birds of East Africa. Cheers to him.

Excellent 5-day Kruger Tour!
It was a great experience seeing the Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebra, Antelope, and others in their natural habitat during the 5-day Kruger Tour.
The booking, payments, and communications were done via email; and all my requirements and expectations were met. My wife and I, and her friend were part of the tour; and we were met at the airport by 2 of Wild Planet Safari's staff. Since it was just the 3 of us with the 2 guides, we had the flexibility when and where to stop; and what sites to prioritize. The service, lodging, and food were great; and the best part was an accommodation at an B&B lodging that looked and felt like a 5 star hotel (part of the package). The hosts were great as well!

I brought a group of clients to Ethiopia, and was very satisfied with my choice to work with Simien Eco Tours. Fantastic experience
We had a fabulous safari experience staying at Singita Boulders Lodge at Sabi Sand followed by a relaxing time at the Azura Hotel Benguerra Island Mozambique. Rose’s personal knowledge of the different safari options and resorts was invaluable. Her itinerary delivered exactly what we were looking for and she was always available and responsive.

A very professional and efficient tour operator for visiting Ethiopia
SimenEco Tours organized a tour of 5 days for me and my colleague in Ethiopia though Bahar Dir, Gondar and Lalibela, starting from and arriving at Addis Ababa. The communications were always on time and clear. The internal travels and transfers by flights and cars were perfectly organized. Same as to the local sightseeing tours, both by car, by boat, or by walking in the different visited towns and areas of Bahar Dir, Gondar and Lalibela, including the climbing excursion from Lalibela. The local guides Henock and Mas that accompanied us were very professional, polite and gave a lot of care to us. The hotel accomodations we experienced in our three visited sites were very good, the only one that could be improved is the one in Bahar Dir, as i had a problem with the bath tub in my room that was leaking water. Ultimately, the food that was included in our tour package was always very good. The rate of our Tour was reasonably correct and good value for money. I definetely would highly recommend SimienEco Tours as travel agency to anybody that would like to visit Ethiopa.

Excellent aid organization , exceptional staff - amazing experience, that can change your life
My husband and I were always admirer of Africa and especially of the Masai people! We have read all existing books and have seen all movies again and again. The dream of my life was one day to be able to get a bit closer to this amazing culture. And thank of one horizon this happened and we will never forget the one day in February 2018 that we spent together with Colin in the house of Masai women.
We are very seasoned Travelers and have seen almost the entire world from Kiribati to Vladivostok, but I’m not exaggerating saying it that this tour, this one day will remain the highlight not only of my traveling, but also personal life.
The moment the friendly smile Colin picked us up from the hotel we felt comfortable and safe in the middle of a country to which we have arrived just an hour ago. He was taking care even of the smallest things for us, which were really important, when you are at the end of a tour having visited 13 countries in two weeks. Colin was so attentive and so sincerely interested to hear from us that we felt like meeting an old friend. During our trip to the country side He and his colleague starting telling us about the amazing lives of the women we were going to meet. These stories of forced marriages, rapes, drugs, physical assault were stronger than any movie or any book we have ever seen or read. My husband and I were listening and became silent. How are we going to face these people, we coming from the comfortable life in Europe? How is something like this still possible in the 21 century?
I have to be honest and tell you how scared I was! And then we arrived in the village and three most beautiful Masai women invited us in their houses and during the following hours we felt like we are part of their families. It was a protected house for indeed women, who have survived things that can not be even imagine! Thanks to "one horizon" they got a second chance for a second life. And what is the most amazing thing, even having survived this horror, they had a smile on their face and were full of love! How strong must these women been to be able to live with the wounds, but still have hope for their future.
We were dancing with them the rain dance and we’re crying and in a moment like this, you feel really enlightened and you understand what is really important in life!
"One horizon" is an amazing organization trying to help. Even if some of their steps may look small, for the Masai families they mean the return to life! They mean pure survival.
This one day entirely changed my life and I hope that as many people as possible will make this amazing tour. It’s not tourism, it’s life experience.

Outstanding personal service!
Sandra and Jason organized our trip to the lodge in Greater Kruger absolutely perfect! Sandra picked up the phone and asked for our wishes and preferences. On the same day we got some recommendations and offers. She was very patiently with us discussing the different options. The booking and payment process was very easy and smooth. We wanted to change the booking some days before departure in order to extend the stay in the lodge - it was arranged within one hour! She organized the pick-up and transfer from Johannesburg to the lodge and back just for my wife and me. We enjoyed this roadtrip very much since our driver Juri was extroardinary helpful and turned even this transfer into an event.
Later on we met Sandra and Jason in Port Elizabeth where we enjoyed a dinner together. We got so many valuable information for our trip along the garden route towards Cape Town - which you would not find in any of the travel books.

A once in a lifetime experience, getting to know the real people of Kenya.
The communication leading up to the tour was fantastic, clear and the hotel pick-up went smoothly. My experience on the tour itself far exceeded what I had expected for the day. I really felt that my tour guide was passionate about the One Horizon brand, the work they do and what it represents (grassroots, community). My tour guide went out of her way to ensure that I had an amazing time, learning about Kenya and the local way of life, and connecting with the local Masai family that we went to visit. The Masai family themselves were an amazing bunch of people, and I was moved to tears, hearing the story of their lives as told by them; the happiness and the challenges they have experienced til date. Highly recommended!

Worth Every Cent
My sisters and I did the 4 days tour to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti with guide Epa of Migration Venture Africa, it was wonderful, it was great. Booking was smooth and straightforward with useful information from them. The game drives were excellent, seeing so many animals beyond what we thought we would see. Some highlights are all the big 5 animals, birds species, historical sites, cultural tours and trekking in Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Everything was top class and worth every cent.
