Lifetime Experience
As our safari ended, we would like to let you know about our experience! It was amazing! It was a dream that came true! Especially the Maasai Mara Park is exactly what we had seen in documentaries! Sometimes we couldn't realise that we were actually there!
Our driver, Ken, is an amazing person and a wonderful driver as well. He was so persistent in searching for animals, he didn't stop until he found them all! Also, he mentioned a lot of info about the animals we were seeing, he was patient with our questions. His driving skills are top class. He made some crossings of deep creeks that seemed impossible. I really enjoyed the off road driving, as part of the whole experience. He was always polite and pleasant and he assisted our search for a wooden elephant sculpture! We are so pleased with our little elephant that my girlfriend decided to name it after Ken! Although the safari experience is breathtaking itself, Ken managed to make it even better!
Overall, we enjoyed to the max our safari. Thank you for that.

Interesting
After some confusion about the cost of the trip. It was all very good. The weather was beautiful, our tripp to Dar es Salamis was interesting.
I would like to thank our guide, Thomas, for a safe ride.We saw many animals and different landscapes.Accommodation and catering were very good.

Breathtaking
We had looked at different safari providers and after asking for quotes, we felt that Amazing memories Safari represented by Anne was the person who understood our wishes the best, and could incorporate some individual touches to our safari, e.g. we had planned to bring a friend to Amboseli Park with us and wanted to add Lake Naivasha into the itinerary including a boat tour. During the planning via email we discussed the choice of minivan vs landcruiser and which lodges to stay at.
Our safari started at 6.30 am mid December on a rainy day, however Steve and Anne picked us up from Nairobi Airport and our trip to Amboseli National Park with Steve started well, as we started to wake up and get to know Steve and vice versa. By the time we had arrived, the rain had stopped and we had already seen and stopped to see couple of giraffes and zebras outside the park on our way.
The choice of lodges suggested to us by Amazing memories Safari were great, always a kind welcome by the staff, very nice and clean tent lodges including mosquito nets, good food, either buffet or by menu. At the Flamingo Hill Camp at Lake Nakuru, at that time of year, we were the only guests by chance and they went out of the way and we had lunch close to the pool and a romantic dinner near the bar. The camp also had several bird species in their trees which I could observe and take photos off. Osero Camp in Masaii Mara had the best food and on our last evening at 6pm, we were lucky enough that a bushbuck stopped and looked at us while we were sitting outside the tent!
Out of all the places we visited, there was just one place, the Ark in Aberdare, that was slightly disappointing. It had rained the past days and rained in the evening, therefore buffalos, hyenas, birds, warthogs were at the salt water hole, however, no elephants or lion. Furthermore, one group was very noisy and smoked on the lower balcony and used a drone in the morning. We were glad that the staff actually told the smoker about the camp rules, however even though it was forbidden to use the drone, they still used it anyway.
Steve is a wonderful guide, he drove us safely from the airport to Amboseli, to Aberdare, to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha to Masaii Mara and back to Nairobi. We had interesting discussions with him about Kenya, the world, the wildlife, any topic we came up with during our drives, inspired by what we saw or heard. He introduced us to the different kind of animals, and was able to find animals, that were hiding high up in the trees or almost hiding in a hole. We had a lot of fun engaging in searching for sometimes more difficult to find animals such as lions, cheetahs and leopards. Steve knew which animals we were particularly interested and managed to find ways in the different locations to get close to observe for example the flamingos in Amboseli (!),and hippos and crocodiles in the Mara river! We felt very safe in the landcruiser with Steve, even when the terrain become slightly muddier in some cases, as we occasionally had rainy nights and took some of the less travelled paths.
Thanks to Steve, we were able to take many great pictures and he managed to exceed our expectations of the safari! We take so many vivid and magnificent impressions home and highly recommend Amazing Safari and Steve!

Top notch safari experience
My boyfriend and I booked a last minute 6-day safari to Naivasha, Amboseli and the Masai Mara with Kikwetu. From start to finish, we had an amazing, seamless experience. Kenneth was super responsive during the planning phase, our guide, Abou was INCREDIBLE and our driver, Paul was lovely.
Highly recommend booking with Kikwetu!

Delivered on all promises - we had a fantastic family holiday in Kenya and Tanzania
Peter the manager of Africa Flash organised a family tour for us covering Serengeti, where we stayed in the Serena hotel, to the Aberdares National Park in Kenya, where we stayed at the Ark in the middle of the forest, then Samburu Game Lodge on the river, and Serena Sweetwaters with a wonderful view of Mount Kenya. We saw all the big five, as well other rare game including a caracal, and our guide/driver John in Kenya was very knowledgable, as was George in Tanzania. I would recommend Africa Flash to anyone.

Jako collected us from our hotel and drove us for 5 days into the Drakensburg and then on to the Kruger . It was wonderful to have him along with us as he was able to tell us so much about the country and spot the game for us and he was great company and very kind .

Unforgettable and personal experience!
Our experience with Daily Expeditions Limited was nothing short of amazing! Frank (the owner) was absolutely wonderful to work with. Frank always made himself available to answer any questions we had about our climb, the mountain itself, or logistics. Frank was also very understanding and accommodating of our busy schedule during the planning portion of our climb. We were able to meet with our guide (Shafii) multiple times before our climb, and any equipment in their shop was available for us to use free of charge. On our climb, our guides (Shaffi & Pews), porters, and cook were all wonderful. The staff were clear professionals at their job, constantly encouraging us but always willing to change their pace/take breaks as needed. Our camp was always ready for us upon arrival, and all of the meals on the mountain were delicious (and warm!!). For everything we received and experienced on our climb it was WELL worth the price and I would HIGHLY recommend this experience. They even had a bottle of champagne for us upon arrival at the hotel to celebrate our summit. For reference we completed the Machame route in 6 days in December 2018. THANKYOU Daily Expeditions Limited.

One star is too much
The three of us selected a ten day trip around Uganda. We paid two thirds of the total, told to cover the remaining third upon arrival. Once we arrived, we were taken to ATM's several times almost every morning, to take out the third half and pay in cash. We explained multiple times that we would not be able to take out that much and can wire money instead but our guide refused and kept asking us to take out cash, even asking us to overpay at a lodge so they could reimburse that amount back to the guide.
We told our guide several times we did not want a boat tour. It was not part of our itinerary. On the day we had scheduled game drives all day, they took us to lunch then told us to hurry through lunch to make the boat tour.
After we paid our initial deposit, our guide changed several lodging options. They explained 'it was the equivalent.' One lodge was $125USD a night but they changed it to a $16USD a night lodge. When we arrived at our $16USD night lodge, the guide told us to check in then LEFT. We couldn't check in because it was too early and our guide had left with our bags. They came back two hours later- no explanation or apologies.
Prior to arrival, we were told several times to bring items to donate to an orphanage. On the day we were set to meet the kids, our guide brought us back to our lodging then told us since it was a holiday, the kids had gone home to their families. ..but it's an orphanage? We were forced to give all our items ($300USD) to the lodging manager and are not entirely sure where the items went.
Over the entire trip, our guide was consistently late and left us alone in our vehicle in large cities (without telling us where they'd be). We brought this up but there was no change.
When we went for game drives, they would stop and take photos themselves, then continue on. They never checked in to see if we had a good view or got all our photos.
In addition, our guide made three stops during our drive to visit friends. They would stop the car, hop out and chat with the person for several minutes, then hop back in. No explanation or apologies for the delay in time. At one point, both guides asked us if we wanted to stop and shop. We said no, but they still left us in the car and went shopping themselves.
On the last day, our guide had initially promised a lunch before a ride to the airport however, the night before they decided they'd only take us to the airport.
Overall, we realized we overpaid for the trip we wanted and especially for the trip we got. We feel like we were fully taken advantage of and are unsure of the integrity/legitimacy of this company.
