Perfect vacation with Uzuri Uganda Safari. Safe yet thrilling adventures, best food and lodges.
Our Uganda Trip with Uzuri was a blast!!! A requested package proposal was straightforward without a long wait, the messages very polite, and our contact (manager) Edris was easygoing and very flexible due to (our) flight options. Our guide Joachim was the most wonderful human being. He was calm in the most annoying traffic and crazy road conditions. We were well informed about the schedule, there were daily briefings at all meals - we would respectfully discuss personal wishes, realistic options and circumstances and mutually set travel / tour-times. We could always rely on Joachim's suggestions to be only in our interest, safety and well-being, and to have the best time. His network is significant and he seemed to be a respected and much liked colleague to other guides on the way. His knowledge of his country and nature is endless, his enthusiasm and tirelessness is very catching. He is a practical problem solver (two slight car problems, fixed within the next hour, mostly by himself and/or due to his perfect network). Also he quietly prepared all next tour steps in the background making it all seem to heavenly fall into place. The lodges were absolutely fantastic, the food choices were fresh, tasty and healthy. Thanks to you, Team Uzuri. We will keep you in our hearts!!!
Out itinerary was: Start in Entebbe -> QueenElizabeth NP (game drives!)/Lodge:SimbaSafariCamp -> Kazinga Channel Boat Trip (small game drive) -> Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Trek/Lodge Ride4aWoman -> (Lake Bunynonyi)/Lodge BunynonyiOverlandResort -> Lake Mburo (game drives & Giraffe walking tour)/Lodge:Eagle’s nest. All of it was ab-so-lu-tely fabulous and unforgettable!!!! The only thing that could have been skipped was Lake Bunynonyi, but it cut one very long drive down to two lesser hour drives… For a trip like this you shouldn’t be prone to motionsickness. You gotta be fit and able to sit in a jerking car for hours - but it’s worth it! By the way: my personal tip for a book to prepare would be the "Bradt Guide" also look at some documentaries about the treks and game drives to get a feeling for what to expect.

Friendly, best price, best quality
I have been looking for a good company at a good price for a long time, I settled on this option. I had never been to Africa before and thought I might be cheated. When we were taken on safari, I knew on the first day that everything would go well. And it did. The driver who was with us had already become part of our family. He even surprised me on my birthday, at his own expense. If you're looking for a good company, you should definitely choose this one.

Unforgettable experience
We booked a weeklong tour in Uganda, including Safaris and Gorilla trekking. The communication was easy and everything was set up as discussed. Our guide was very nice, open and an excellent driver and animal spotter. He organized everything perfectly during our trip and managed to make some changes when it was raining without any problems. Furthermore he explained a lot about country and the animals. We saw lions, a leopards, elephants, giraffes etc and of course the Gorillas. The lodges we stayed in were also really nice and comfortable.

Excellent personalized service.
The whole experience from booking the trip, through arrival in Tanzania to drop off at the airport was absolutely outstanding. Excellent customized traveling arrangements, very knowledgeable tour guide Frank during our safari adventure provided a lot of fun & valuable info about the animals & the area. Great organization of the trip, fantastic hotels, amazing food. We got also a great value for our money especially on the hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti. We are already planning our next trip and we highly recommend Relish of Africa & Frank to all travelers.

Organized, professional, and courteous
The tour my wife and I had with Colours Africa was absolutely the most amazing trip of our lives. My wife and I booked the 17 day Safari/Chimp Trek/Zanzibar beach package with 2 days added in Zanzibar, and it exceeded our wildest expectations.
Our safari guide Benjamin took us on five days’ worth of driving through four parks and did a fantastic job of finding really special moments. He had an almost sixth sense for finding things like elephant and lion herds migrating across roads, and at times we’d be the first car on the scene to see something really great. He was also very skilled at getting into excellent position when we came somewhere that already had a bunch of cars on the scene. Our chef Barack, who came with us, made delicious meals, and both Ben and Barack were super welcoming and accommodating.
The trip to Gombe was amazing, and one of the company partners Hamis came with us as we got up close and personal with several of the chimp troupes and stayed in an amazing lakefront “glamping” tent. And Zanzibar was very special, as were the accommodations. And all transportation was arranged and it went very smoothly, and all our drivers were very nice guys.
I spent a lot of time researching safaris and getting quotes, and what really set Colours Africa apart was that they sent a very professional and detailed itinerary and the cost was much less than the other quotes for what we got. Part of the reason for the cost is that the accommodation includes camping, but even after upgrading to staying in luxury tents and upgrading our accommodation in Zanzibar to a nicer resort the cost was still much less than I would have expected. In fact, even before we got to Zanzibar I felt like the trip had paid for itself.
I highly recommend Colours Africa and I am already dreaming of a return to Tanzania!

My favourite destination for over a decade
It was my fourth safari in Tanzania and while the previous once were all great, this one was one big Wow! from start to finish. A four-day private safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro for three. Great service all the way: excellent accommodations (including a last minute change when the Soles staff learnt there would be a noisy all-night party at the hotel they had booked us), guides who had erudite answers to every question: Oscar about the animals, country and people we saw on the way; and Chief, our talkative, all-smiles city guide in Arusha. We spotted all the big five (rhinos only from a distance) and dozens more including the masterly camouflaged leopard, huge, slowly moving herds of wildebeest (not the great migration), numerous prides of lions at the end of their mating season and hyenas feeding on whatever others had left for them. And the catering: who would imagine having a full-scale cooked lunch served on stainless plates with drinks and wine in the middle of the wilderness every day! Great, fantastic, recommended!

4-day Safari tour at Kruger National Park
If you love nature that is an absolutely must in South Africa. It is an astonishing experience being able to see the animals in the wild but also it is really worth expending one day on the panorama route.
