Big 5 and many more
Our guide Ayoni went above and beyond and we saw the big 5 in our first few hours of the game drive, this included the black rhino which had not been spotted for a while by anyone. Overall amazing experience and plenty of wildlife to see.

Very familiar staff and perfect organization
Motto Tours organized for my family a very special trip to Kenia. They were really concerned about our wellness and did their best so the trip were perfect. We had a spanish speaking guide and a driver just for the family and they were really kind (specially with the kids) and proffesional. Good means of transport, acommodations and good price for the whole trip. They solved in a satisfactory way all the little problems that came across the trip.
I would hardly recommend to travel with Motto Tours.

Fraudulent Tour Operator
Baraka and Ken with Congo Discovery Safaris have refused to refund me for a portion of the tour they weren't permitted to take me on. I booked a 4 day gorilla trek and volcano climb in Virunga National Park with Congo Discovery Safaris last year and upon arrival in Kigali in February I found out they could not take me to Virunga as promised because of a rule change with the National Park and I would have to book directly with the National Park, which more than doubled my cost. I ended up having to pay the national park directly for my tour and only used Congo Discovery Safaris for help with my visa and transportation across the border to Goma. Because of this they promised to refund me $850 of the $1050 I paid them since I could not go with them for gorillas or the volcano. I was told they didn't have the cash because they spent it on a mineral investment and would send me a refund once I got home. For months they asked me to wait for the refund because they weren't getting a lot of business and I was patient, but it's been many months since then and they have stopped responding to any of my texts or emails. Ken and Baraka were really helpful and nice to me while I was there with the problems with the national park, but they will not refund your money if you have any problems. There is no reason to book anything in Virunga including transportation there, gorillas, and the volcano hike through Congo Discovery Safaris because you can book directly with the national park on their website.

Excellent, genuine safari experience in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe
Great safari if you’re looking for unfussy, but comfortable safari experience, with game drives, game walks and canoe options.
This was not a luxury safari experience but genuine and authentic.
Food was good and staff were great.
Mark Van Zuydam was a terrific and knowledgable guide - thank you all!

Superb Shoor Safaris
Shoor Safaris organised every aspect of our safari to the Masai Mara earlier this month. We were picked up in Nairobi by our driver who was both an excellent driver and a great source of knowledge. Our safari vehicle was reliable, comfortable and the pop up roof was great during the game drives. We stayed at the Sarova Mara Tented Camp which is inside the national park and were able to complete four game drives during our stay, two early morning drives and two afternoon drives. Shoor Safaris provide an incredible service and took care of all the arrangements and all we had to do was turn up. The safari exceeded our expectations in every way and we were fortunate to see a so fortunate to see such a wide variety and huge number of animals. I would recommend Shoor Safaris and look forward to using them again.

Unforgettable, wonderful experiance
We had a 4 day safari and visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara. Already in advance, the communication with Maureen went smoothly. Horace our guide was very nice, knowledgeable, tried to answer any of our questions and was a very good driver. We were able to observe so many animals up close that we could not leave wondering. The accommodations Hhando Coffee Lodge and Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp were very comfortable. Many thanks to Maureen and especially to Horace for a wonderful time.

amazing adventure
We would like to thank you very much for organizing an amazing trip to Kruger Park and Blyde Canyon. The formula of the trip you invented caused experiences that we will never forget. A guide who not only carry and show curiosities, but also gave a taste of amazing flavors. All the long chats about wildlife and South Africa in general made this trip even more interesting . Unforgettable conversations under the stars, which from our point of view are unreal… Sounds of the night in the bush… A guide who is intelligent, polite and helpful at every step. Congrats Steve!
Meeting with Anthony was another story. Interesting conversation about business, South Africa and Poland. Shopping at the butcher’s showed us your philosophy of customer approach. Bravo Gentlemen!
I’m 55 years old. I have seen in my life a lot of, but such a travel company with such a philosophy first time. If anytime South Africa ones more, of course with Endless Summer.

The best travel experience we have ever been on. Everything went like clockwork and was first rate.
We cannot give enough praise to Pembury, and in particular, Kerry, for arranging a spectacular, unforgettable tour package. We had started a few years back but had to put our plans on hold. When we were ready and able to commit, we gave a list of reserves and areas we wanted to visit.
Communication with Kerry was through email and it could not have been better. She was always very responsive and accommodating.
We asked for the Okavango Delta, Chobe, Victoria Falls, Kruger and Cape Town to be the basic itinerary. We also asked for not the best accommodations, but levels where we would have good safari experiences. We had no experience as to what we wanted and left the details to Pembury.
With those minimum guidelines, Kerry put together a phenomenal itinerary that far exceeded our expectations way beyond what we could have suggested ourselves.
Overall, Kerry planned the internal flights, all hotels and lodgings, driving transportation between reserves. We were greeted at each airport with a Pembury representative who made sure we were taken to our next lodging, told us what the itinerary was and basically took care of us. She also coordinated the international flights with me so I was able to make those reservations. Maybe that was more cost effective than Pembury doing it, but I'm not sure.
We were on our trip for 15 days, plus the main international flights. We did not have a concern for the entire time, and everything went like clockwork. Our tour representative or private driver was always there on time or earlier. When I say everything was prearranged, I'm not understating.
Now for the details, which we highly recommend.
The first safari lodge was at camp xakanaka in Botswana. We were there for three nights. A rustic, yet classy lodge, which was all inclusive with high tea at 3, and sundowner cocktails. It is within the Okavango Delta so our safaris could start early and end late. This may have been the best lodge we stayed at for the entire trip.
The next lodge was Chobe lodge, within the Chobe reserve. There are more elephants here plus other mammals that made the lodge an excellent experience.
Our next stop was Victoria falls, which is a fantastic waterfall, less so in dry season. If you have seen iguazu falls in Argentina, you may want to rethink going to Victoria falls.
Next was Idube lodge within the Sabi Sands reserve which is probably the second favorite lodge, with lots of mammal sightings.
The next lodge was in Kruger Reserve, staying in the Lukimbi Lodge for two nights. Kruger Reserve was not as spectacular as Chobe or Sabi Sands, but we got to see some pretty exotic cats and a rare southern black rhino.
We then spent the next three nights in the Commadore Hotel in Cape Town, where Kerry had arranged a private guide, Terrence, to pick us up at the airport, take us all around Cape Town and the outlying areas. Terrence was very knowledgeable and talkative and told us about the history, politics and socio-economics of the region. A very delightful, interesting and intellectual exchange.
When we take another African Safari, we will definitely be using Kerry and Pembury. For reference, we would cut out the tour of Victoria Falls. They were not that spectacular, with the water shortage and the logistics in getting there. We would have also eliminated Kruger since we had so much better experiences in the other regions' reserves. On second thought, I would not have changed a thing on this adventure. It was just perfect.
Thank You Kerry and Pembury.
