A Seamless Safari Adventure with Porcupine Tours - A Five-Star Experience
Our journey with Porcupine Tours was nothing short of spectacular, turning our once-in-a-lifetime adventure into an unforgettable experience. From the moment we initiated contact, the communication was exceptional - prompt, informative, and reassuring. Jacqueline and her husband orchestrated every detail seamlessly, earning our trust and providing a plethora of options to tailor our safari according to our preferences.
The customized itinerary took us on a mesmerizing journey through the heart of East Africa, covering iconic destinations such as Masai Mara, Amboseli, Serengeti, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. The range of safari activities offered ensured that every day was filled with excitement and discovery.
Accommodations throughout Kenya and Tanzania were nothing short of extraordinary, providing a luxurious retreat after exhilarating days in the wild. The meals were a delightful culinary adventure, and the few bottles of Kilimanjaro and Serengeti beer added a unique touch to our evenings, becoming the highlight of each day.
What truly set our experience apart were the charismatic safari guides, Dickson and Hussein. Their extensive knowledge of the terrain and wildlife, coupled with a genuine passion for their work, made every game drive an educational and entertaining experience. Laughter echoed through the savannah as they shared anecdotes and ensured that our safari was not only enriching but also filled with joy.
Porcupine Tours not only met but exceeded our expectations, ensuring we encountered all the animals on our wishlist. Witnessing the playful cheetahs in Masai Mara was a particular highlight, capturing the essence of the wild in its purest form.
For anyone seeking a smooth and stress-free safari adventure, we wholeheartedly recommend Porcupine Tours. Their attention to detail, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the warm hospitality of Jacqueline and her team make them a standout safari company. As we reflect on our incredible journey, we are left with a deep sense of gratitude to Porcupine Tours. We eagerly anticipate the day we can return for another adventure, perhaps exploring the Southern Circuit. Thank you for making our safari dreams come true.

Professional, ensuring things ran smooth, kind and excellent
Me and my son just finished with an excellent 5 day 4 night tailored tour with Shipungo - the communication and service was punctual and professional. We had an amazing time at the magkadigkadi salt pans driven there by PH in a very comfortable and clean car. We were then taken to see the giant baobab and meerkats by Oneal. We enjoyed our stay at Gweta lodge. We then had a special night travelling by mokoro to camp in the delta. Our guide Heaven took us for an evening an early morning bushwalk . He was so knowledgeable about the delta flora and fauna and shared jokes and stories . Two wonderful ladies set up the campsite and helped Tour the chef cook up a delicious meal. Our last two nights we went with Kem , Tour and KG to camp in Maremi and this was incredible - KG and Tour set up a very comfortable campsite with shower and toilet and safari style dining tent. Kem went above and beyond to take us on game drives in the evening and early morning to maximise our time in a new and comfortable open safari vehicle. We saw two cheetahs , lions , jackal , wild dogs , hyenas , honey badgers, elephants, giraffes and antelope and spent some hours watching a leopard which was very special . Tour and KG supplied delicious food. For a private tailored trip to Magkadigkadi and the Delta that suited our available dates this was hands down the best value and an amazing experience. Thanks so much to all the staff at Shipungo.

AMAZING!!! If you love animals, this is for you!
Safari was amazing in Masai Mara national park. Nairobi national park offers a good more convenient option if you are in Nairobi but it´s quite pricy. The food in Kenya was AMAZING--everywhere we went. Nairobi is a very modern city and is quite pricy.

Beautiful
Kenya is a beauty, it's national parks especially Amboseli and Masai Mara are a must visit. Nairobi is a big city and reminded me of an Indian city.

Ute was the epitome of organization and communication during the planning and time of our travels.
Ute created the perfect trip for our first time in Africa. The variety of camps gave us the opportunity to experience 3 areas with many different animals, cultures and styles of lodgings. She was so organized and detail oriented and always responded to our questions in a timely manner. Her constant communication with us during our safari was helpful and reassuring. The Staff at all the camps were outstanding and made our trip that more enjoyable. We felt the value of what we spent on our trip was fair and we felt we got everything we expected and more. My husband and I were not with a group, but we felt included with the other guests at the camps. We extended for five days in Cape Town and Ute booked us at a lovely boutique hotel which was in a perfect location. She organized 2-day tours for us-one to the Winelands and the other to the Cape of Good Hope with excellent guides. She also booked us in several wonderful restaurants in Cape Town and provided ideas for other sites to tour on our own in the city. We look forward to booking our next African adventure with Ute and Roho Y Chui!

Perfect Trip-5 Days Tremisana and tents safari
Trip of the lifetime!
Saw incredible number of animals (Balule and Kruger) and had great time in general.
Included food was all homemade (fresh and great). Accommodation was clean and perfect (really liked the tents). All personnel was great. Guides incredibly knowledgable and willing to accommodate guest's requests for that perfect photo.
Incredible value for money, could not recommend Viva Safaris enough.

A well organised in-bound tour to beautiful Ethiopia
We have recently returned from a 22-day trip through Ethiopia (October 2023) that we booked through Senait Ethiopia Tours and must give a huge shout out to the team at Senait.
Firstly, and importantly, we doubt that you will find a more honest tour operator than the owner of Senait, Taddese Atlaw. We initially booked our tour in 2019, pre-Covid. A deposit was paid and then of course, out travel plans were disrupted for a few years. Taddese honoured our deposit for a trip we finally managed to take four years later. That is customer service!
The team Senait used are all to be commended. Every one of them gave generously of their local knowledge, opinions and guidance and happily answered the many, many questions we threw at them. The tour was extremely well organised and all vehicles and accommodation were of a high calibre. A couple of guides/drivers need particular mention. Mr. Meseret (Messi) (Barhi Dar-Gondor-Simian Mountains- Lalibela) whom we used for the first 10 days is our brother. A careful driver, a thoughtful and reflective person, and a lover of good music. Mr. Leul was our guide in Lalibela, and organised the cooking experience for us. Mr. Yacob Kedir both met us from the airport and delivered us back after a wonderful tour of the Rift and Omo Valleys.
The tour itinerary was well thought out. We hit almost all the highlights including hanging with the Gelada (grass eating monkeys) in the Simian Mountains, the famous hewn rock churches of Lalibela, overnighting under the stars in the spectacular Danakil Depression, and engaging with some of the highly varied tribespeople of the Omo Valley.
The cuisine of Ethiopia is very good, and we enjoyed learning how to cook traditional food in a local family’s back garden. We will definitely be trying this at home!
Security questions still hang over this beautiful country, but they are not as bad as western travellers are often led to believe by their Governmental agencies. Senait were always on top of any security concerns, and organised our trip to fly-over any state borders to avoid any potential conflict. They monitored our activities daily and forewarned us when there would likely be no internet. We didn’t get to Tigray, Somali or the Western States as Senait deemed them too uncertain from a security POV. That gives us an excuse for revisiting at some time in the future!
This was a well organised and fascinating tour. We experienced the culture, nature, cuisine, and various religions of the region. We have absolutely no hesitation recommending Senait Ethiopian Tours to our fellow travellers.

My group enjoyed a trip in Tanzania with Bayango Tours in Mikumi national park and Zanzibar beaches. It was actually very fantastic trip well organized by Bayango Tours team.
I loved and appreciated everything there at Bayango especially hotels, food and guiding was so professional.
I recommend them again and when I come back to Africa will go with this team.
