It was awesome with this operator
We had 11 days safari, 7 for wildlife and 4 for beach safari in Zanzibar and it was just amazing. This operator organized our safari in professional manner and all outlined activities were carried out as outlined in the itinerary. The tour Guide, was fantastic, he ensured that we see all animals whenever he sported then, sometimes he communicated with other tour guides just to know where he can take us for best wildlife viewing specifically the wildebeest migration. We real had fantastic time in Tanzania. Winfrida from the office was also awesome in communication and responding on time. To make the long story short, This operator will fit your needs. We selected their quote regardless that we had other cheap offers from other operators and we can testify that we never regret that. They delivered more that they promised. It was truly an amazing safari!
We had a fantastic time during our safari in November 2023. Our driver was awesome - skilled and knowledgeable at all of the animals. We had a very short trip booked, but still managed to see the Big Five, and then some! We went in November and I was worried the weather would not be great - but it was fine and didn't impact our ability to see animals or enjoy our game drives. Our accommodations were simply amazing also - lovely, well-appointed, great food. This was a trip that will live in my memory for the rest of my life!

Great itinerary, and great people
The tour operator is professional. We have communicated through Whatsapp. We have asked for a specific itinerary and they prepared it for us. They are very responsive and friendly.
Our driver from the airport, was friendly and happy to help with any questions we had.
The short hike to Marangu route has been beautiful.
For the safari, our driver has been incredible, friendly, kind and helpful. We have managed to see almost all Big 5, except leopard, and we even saw two cheetahs. Of course we saw other animals other than the Big 5.
The tour operator was checking in daily for questions, updates, etc.
The accommodations at Moshi, Arusha and Serengeti National Park have been spacious and clean.

Professional yet friendly
I went down the Zambezi in a canoe for multiple days with Natureways and I absolutely loved it. The guides were knowledgable, the food was amazing, and the views were spectacular. The trip was very well organized and we had no issues whatsoever. I think the singularly best part of the experience were late night conversations under the stars with our guides as we sat in the dirt. Every night was filled with laughter and amazing stories. I loved my trip!!

We'd highly recommend Apodiformes Adventures for your safari to Kenya! Our tour guide and driver, Loi, was dedicated to every detail of the experience for us. He ensured we had everything that we needed, communicated really well about the details of the day, changes in plans, what we were doing, where we were going, details as they emerged, plans for the next day, etc. During game drives, he was constantly monitoring the radio and making absolutely sure that we could see all the big 5 and other animals during our entire trip. He always positioned the vehicle in the best spots and made sure that we could get good angles for photos and viewing. Loi was awesome and we'd highly recommend him for your safari. At the end of the trip, we stayed in Diani Beach at the Pinewood Resort and have to say that this was one of the best resort experiences we've had in our lives. It was half-board and had really well-made food, attentive staff, was clean, had animals on the property (monkeys, tortoises, weaver birds, crabs walking around, bush babies, etc.) it was such a beautiful end to the trip and we'll treasure all of our memories from this safari.

Amazing
The safari was an absolute dream. Our two guides Isaiah and Saloniki really were the very best. Everything was perfectly planned and they fulfilled our every wish. The food was amazing and the accomodation really really nice. All people were really nice and friendly. One of the best experiences of my life. Thank you so much for this experience. I would definitely recommend this tour and these guides.

Yuri was excellent, hard working, attentive, informative, & an attention to details perfectionist.
I can't rave enough about this tour! Just life changing! I will be doing more safaris due to the excellence provided on this one. Not to mention that Yuri did everything he could to make sure that we all saw at the least the Big Five...and we did! I am a solo traveler & was met at the Skukuza airport on landing. The driver was informative on the drive. Once at the lodge, I was met by Yuri (my assigned ranger) & had a seamless check-in & introduction to my bungalow. The lodge & surroundings are beautiful & the staff was amazing! I arrived with 30 minutes to spare to take my first safari & it was just amazing! Every morning, I was up at 4:30am, knock on the door at 5am to make sure that I was up, then off we went at 5am. The safaris were 3 hours long. We arrived back at the lodge where breakfast was ready then we had down time to do what we wanted (enjoy the pool, edit/upload photos, read, etc) & usually there would be wild life wandering along the river. I saw elephant herds, giraffes, water buffalo, a hippo, kudu, & more up close from the lodge! At 2pm, we ate lunch then at 4:30 it was time for another safari & dinner on arrival back at the lodge. The food was delicious & the service impeccable. Each morning & night, while we were out, the staff cleaned our bungalows which, by the way, were beautiful, & comfortable (LOVED the outdoor rain shower). On my last full day, I opted to do a panoramic tour. My guide, Bhekifa, was so attentive & informative. He fell in love with my camera so I let him take a lot of photos while I used my iPhone & he took photos of me as well (which is nice when you solo travel!). I highly recommend doing the panoramic tour! South Africa is beautiful! I arrived back at the lodge just in time for the evening safari & had the morning safari the next morning before time to leave. Bhekifa was assigned to take me to the airport & arrived an hour early because he, being a ranger in Kruger National Park, wanted to try to find lions before I left. We saw a male & female lion plus so much more & he still got me to the airport on time. Exceptional is the one word that I would use to describe Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris!
