Axis Expedition & Safari, as well as our tour guide, Gerald "G-man" Makucha, were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable thoroughout each step of our safari, from booking with special requests to touring the Masai Mara. From our first afternoon ride, we saw a wide variety of beautiful animals including three of the big five, and many other notable "surprises" such as giraffe, cheetah, and Tsabo cat. Our group not only enjoyed seeing the wide array of wildlife, but also Gerald's community spirit among all the tour guides on the way. I highly recommend Axis & Gerald for safari!

The safari excelled with responsive leadership, exceptional guidance, gourmet cuisine
There are many safaris on the website so we had trouble choosing but talking to the director really helped, he is really responsive, has an answer and solution to everything and a clear vision so I’d recommend contacting him if you have doubts. That being said, I don't regret the choice at all, our safaris was by far the best experience. Félix, our guide was exceptional, patient and very considerate, we had a great moment with him, we could see so many animals because we wake early and leave with a prepared breakfast to see animals before the heat increases, we could see hippos getting back to water, a mother lion with her baby, many more adult lions, giraffes, zebras,… we were spoiled. We were also blessed to have Achraf as our chef, all other safaris were giving us bad looks with our well prepared dishes on plates for each meal, with fresh bread and dessert. I still can't understand how he could cook so many things by himself in such a short time. His fresh warm bread in the morning and for dinner waouh, that was something else and his banana cake, amazing! The worst thing about this is that he made our life difficult cause now we don’t like food that’s not cooked by Achraf. I also had a day trip with Benedict to the waterfalls and hot springs in addition to a coffee making shop, I recommend doing that if you have an extra day in Arusha, it's really worth it and Ben was amazing. Wakanda for sure knows how to choose the people to work with. In addition, I really value good work environment and I felt that everyone had high esteem for the director and while talking with people they told me that he respects his employees and treats them well and that for that they were really loyal to the company and try to do their best at their job and that is something that can be felt. Thanks for the great time.

This is my 6th time coordinating my travel and excursions, and those of others, through Glorious Tours Tanzania. When you meet and get to know Glory, you know you have met a friend for life. Our group of first-time travelers to Tanzania said “this was the best vacation they have ever had”. I can’t recommend Glorious Tours enough!

Amazing time with all the big 5
We had a great time on our Safari seeing all of the big 5 multiple times. Moses was amazing and was clearly on a mission to give us the best experience He knew how to bring us to the best location to see all the animals up close. The safari was outstanding

Took care of everything!
Lulu was a pleasure to work with. She helped us through many different iterations of our itinerary as our plans changed a few times. She was able to advise and help put together the Serengeti safari of our dreams. When we arrived Lulu took care of all arrangements. Even more, when our airline cancelled our flight home and we had to change plans, Lulu was responsive and quickly helped us make new arrangements that worked perfectly.
Highly experienced and accomidating
Our driver g-man was a expert at navigating the harsh terrain. You could tell he knew the land like the back of his hand. When we saw cool animals like lions he would always try to find a better position to stop so we could watch better

Incredible experience with a fantastic guide, Isaac!
We had the chance of making a Safari tour with Isaac, fully fluent Italian speaker and super nice and Gentle. He has spent Hours and Hours in deeply describing su the nature and the animals. Isaac has gone in “secret places” to find hidden animals, extremely good experience!

Disciplined and Careful Driver
Traveled about 200 km from Budongo forest, through the famous Royal mile known for bird watching and Former King of Bunyoro's hunting grounds (King Kabalega), to Masindi Town despite the dusty murram roads. The journey ended in Kampala City with flexibility for several stop overs upon request.

Wonderful Safari experience With Isaac
We have appreciated a lot our guide Isaac Who spent a lot of time for describing us the wildlife of Tanzania. He speaks perfect Italian and he is really passionate about his job. The car was super clean and the experience was wonderful. I have suggested to do this tour to my friends

Great team got me up Kilimanjaro
An amazing team of porters, a cook and a guide (Abdul) supported me in my journey up Kilimanjaro. Abdul was very informative - initially meeting me at the hotel and making sure I had the right gear, and then always making sure I was prepared for the next days hike while on the mountain. He was knowledgeable about Tanzania too and told me stories of the different tribes who make up the country. The rest of the team were supportive and friendly. I left feeling I had gotten more than my money's worth and would totally recommend these guys - they went above and beyond at each step to make me feel welcomed.
