very professional and transparent company
We experienced throughout our whole trip to Mount Meru a very professional service. The manager Emman answered within very short time to our request even if it was very last minute, we were picked up at the Airport, transferred to our hotel and received a professional pre-tour briefing. Also during the trip, our experience was very positive. Our guide Geoffrey and the whole crew delivered outstanding service. Even during the short drive within Arusha National Park, we learned more from our driver Mike about wildlife than in several days safari in another country.
After the trek, Emman offered in a very transparent way for a private safari. Unfortunately, the private option was above our budget (but still not expensive for a private trip). We would have loved to go on Safari with the crew from Kili Serengeti Holidays because we are convinced about their crew and their service.

A wonderful memorable experience
All connections and stays went well. Arrival at Dar was chaos, hopefullly the new Terminal will sort this.
Slipway Hotel: Pleasant room overlooking the sea.
At Lake Manza animals presented themselves from the minute we got off the plane. Lake trips were a delight. I was happy with the candles, kerosene lamp and a torch to light the tent and it did add a little to the charm, others may be less impressed. The two of us had a driver and guide to ourselves most of the time and we felt exclusive. The lake trips were a delight with animals and birds surrounding us.
Ikuka was absolute luxury and everything including insect repellant, laundry and drinks was included. The driver was also the guide and there were up to four others with us. The driver was good but the support was therefore not so special. The camp being on top of a hill was good because it was cool but bad because it took a while to get down to see any animals. WE may have seen more animals from a river side camp . A couple we met from the riverside camp said that flies were not a problem and that they had seen many more animals including leopards. We did get a couple of tetse bites but no real problems.
Both camps:
* No mosquitos,
* held evening meals at a long table big enough for all guests. It was good to swap stories,
* had well designed and substantial "tents" with mosqito proof zip up gauze screening. The beds had the comfort of a top class hotel.

Great communication and super friendly people
Our experience has been great, unfortunately my grandfather passed away 1,5 days! before our holiday started! Without hesitation Rose offered us to change our travel dates with no extra charge or proof. The people at Safariline Defender are also extremely friendly so you won't go wrong with them.
Our driver Geoffrey was very patient and knowledgeable, knew every bird, animal or plant by heart and had passion finding the animals and getting us in the right spot to view them!

Fantastic 1 Day safari to Ngorongoro crater
I chose to go on a 1 day safari to Ngorongoro crater in the last minute, through World Safari Land Tours. My experience with the managing director (Calvin) in coordinating the schedule was outstanding. He made every attempt to make the schedule work. The email responses were very prompt.
The safari itself was awesome and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Joshua was my guide, he is very experienced, friendly and knew his ways around at the crater!
There was no delay in the arrival/departure times. The lunch was good too and most importantly we were able to see most of the animals!!
I would definitely recommend World Safari Land Tours to anyone I know without a doubt!

A wonderful experience. We felt well looked after and had a fantastic time.
We are a family of four with two children aged 15 and 11. We had a fabulous and memorable safari arranged by Joseph with Tony as our excellent guide to Tarangirie National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorogoro Crater.
The standard of accommodation was very high. We particularly liked the tented camps in the Serengeti, and we saw an amazing range of wildlife including the 'Big 5' and many other animals and birds. Tony was the best guide we could have wished for; extremely knowledgeable, a fantastic driver, very patient with all of our questions and a lovely person.
We had excellent service from Joseph from our initial e-mails to all the way through our safari. Joseph was always quick to respond to e-mails and provide different itineraries until we decided on what we wanted. I have no hesitation in recommending Happy World Safaris for anyone considering an independent safari in Tanzania.

Incredible engagement and support all the way to the top
What an amazing trip! The guides were very knowledgable, spoke good english and were very supportive. We had a fairly big group going up fhe Kilimanjaro and almost every day there were people walking behind. Each time several guides stayed behind, never rushing them. One day someone had a hard time and we were falling so far behind we missed lunch (which you definitely need) and they arranged for porters to walk toward us from the camp to lunch with us, amazing. All the way to the top they supported us by keeping the mood up and guiding us through the darkness. Every guide that asked my name remembered it for the rest of the trip. And of course the wiater and chef deserve a prize, being able to cook so much food every night and making sure we’d eat enough. I have done several hikes and climbings but I have never had such amazing guides! Thank you Herman and crew!

Budget safari that delivered all that was promised
Right from the start all our e-mails were answered the same date, communication was excellent. I was worried about booking with a budget company, but as we wanted to do safari and a Kilimanjaro climb, it soon be came clear how expensive it would be with other holiday firm's. Mj's was in our price range and we were more than happy with the service, from being met at the airport to being delivered back, all went to plan and we had a fantastic from.
Our Safari guide Nelly, was great, informative, fun and very protective. He made our Safari experience wonderful. Also two of our group went on to summit Kilimanjaro, Machame route and the guides were helpful and looked after one of us that struggled with the excersion and altitude, to make sure he was able to reach the summit, then get him down quickly. All the food was great and tastie on safari and on the mountain. Tents were good quality and vehicles were good, I am sure we had a just as good experience compared to people who had paid a lot more for their holidays. Also the Keys annex hotel we stayed in before, inbetween and after was great, helpful fun stayed, lovely food and nice bar and really comfortable need, which are heaven after your Kilimanjaro climb. Really, if you are in any doubt about booking with Mj's, go ahead. They really do deliver what they say and I am sure you will have a great time.
