Very organized, well planned honeymoon
We did the 11 day tour back in november for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time! Booking the tour was very easy, communication was very smooth and the hotels booked were top notch! Loved the hospitality! Our driver Adam took very good care of us. We learned so much from him, was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed the trip till the very last day. We used African Welcome Safaris for our recent holiday in South Africa. We are a group of friends (5 families, 22 people) who go on a group vacation every few years. This year we planned to do a safari and visit of Cape Town. I initially made contact with several agencies, however, from the very beginning i found Kathi (African Welcome Safaris) to be extremely proactive, professional and helpful. Kathi assessed our needs, enquired on a budget and within a couple of days developed a tailor made 10 day tour of South Africa. Kathi suggested Elephant Plains in the Sabi Sands Region in Kruger and clearly articulated the benefits of this reserve. She booked a 3 day safari for us and organised all internal flights and created a fantastic 5 day guided tour of Cape Town. From start to finish Kathi's communication was clear and she addressed our queries usually within 24 hours.
We have now returned from our holiday and we can say this has been one of our best holidays to date. From start to finish the organisation and planning was first class. The Safari experience at Elephant plains was amazing. The accommodation and dining was luxurious and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The rangers and trackers went out of their way to ensure we saw all the animals. We ended up seeing the big 5 on several occasions.
In Cape Town Kathi booked our accommodation in the Lawhill luxury apartments. The apartments are located in the Harbour Bay which is a great place to stay. Excellent security and facilities. Kathi made some very good recommendations for dinning and organised our group dinners. Graham was our tour guide in Cape town. He is friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. We visited Table top mountain, Bo-Kaap, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach, Robben Island and more.
To summarise we had a great experience from start to finish with African Welcome Safaris. Kathi was amazing and we would definitely recommend using this agency.

Excellent guides and team to give you a professional, supported and nice trekking experience
We had a fantastic experience, climbing Kilimanjaro in 7 days via the Machame route guided and supported by Bennie, James and the rest of the team from Almighty Kilimanjaro. Both the guides are very professional and knowledgeable and support you all the way. We booked a group tour, but due to a cancellation ended up as a private group. This meant a very personal experience from the team. Our tent had a small seating area where we had breakfast and dinner. We opted for a private toilet (tent) - advice - please do!!! The food (prepared by Goodluck our cook) was very good, certainly considering the challenges to serve up a meal at these altitudes. Lema our ‘waiter’ took very well care of us. And then there were the porters. Unbelievable what these guys carry and at what speed. The climb is basically 5 days of going up and acclimatising before the big night. Starting at midnight the big climb to the top. Very, very tough but we made it with the continuous support from Bennie and James. At 6 am we arrived at Stella point to then climb further to Uhuru peak. Then it’s down in 2 days to the finish. We can truly recommend Almightly Kilimanjaro and specially Bennie and his team. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Bennie, James, Goodluck, Lema and the rest of the team for this amazing experience of a life time

Unforgettable experience with a fantastic guide, Babuu!
We booked the Simba safari (1 day in Tarangire park, 2 days in Serengeti and 1 day in Ngorongoro) and everything was above our expetations!
Our guide Babuu was awesome.
He took care of us every minute from out arrival at the Arusha airport to the drop off at the Kilimanjaro airport in a gentle, kind, polite and always available way, his knowledge about the animals and the whole wildlife is amazing.
We saw more than 30 wild animals including the Big Five, also having one day of torrential rains and being stuck in the mud but very well managed and will be always part of this unblelievable trip!
The accomodations were amazing and the experience of spleeping in a tented camp in the very heart of the parks among all animals is very unique!

Amazing Experience
It was an amazing experience to visit Kenya for 7 days.
Loved every moment we spent there.
Out first guide "Raymond" was really nice and helpful.
He helped to spot majority of animals in Masai Mara on our first day only.
Food quality was a bit disappointing most of the time, as it was monotonous.

Complete support not only during the safari, but also before and after the safari!
Africa Uncovered Safaris made really a good job. Value / money ratio is very good. Archie supported my wife a lot regarding the visa applications and also excursion coordination before and after the safari when we had excursions in Zambia. Muza helped us a lot not only during the safari but also after the safari regarding the multiple excursion arrangements, coordination and transportation. We were happy about everything.

Spectacular 5 Day Safari
This was a trip of a lifetime, Walter, our guide is a magician, and felt like part of the family when we parted after our 5 day safari.
