Good organization, flexible and affordable, Peter is a good manager and his staff is really professional and very friendly. The only defect has been the Arusha Center Inn hotel, better to be avoided, but Peter will surely find another one much better.

Africa Vacations Safaris was responsive and informative during the planning and duration of our trip. Denis, our agent, listened to our thoughts on a dream trip and delivered. The guide assigned was knowledgeable and very friendly. We were booked in very nice hotels. Everything went on as planned. In deed the team went an extra mile to make our Kenya trip one of the best we ever had.

Experience in Travel Unparalleled
The Giltedge Travel group, Philippa Lawrence, arranged our two week travel to South Africa (CapeTown, Winelands, Safari, Zimbabwe to include Victoria Falls. Every single part of the trip was outstanding. During the planning phase Philippa helped us navigate our choices within our budget, including prioritizing evenly the 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 15 and 19) so that everyone had multiple experiences to look forward to. The country of South Africa offers so much to see and do; I believe it is an under-estimated travel experience. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens alone is worth the long flight from the states! The accommodations were always better than we expected- outstanding. The food was delicious and varied and a central part of our fun. Wine tours- not to be missed! The most beautiful rural experience! The safari at Arathusa was so spectacular it is difficult to put into words. Travel to Arathusa: small planes to small landing strips- amazing and safe and beautiful. At Arathusa, days begin early with a 3 hour safari drive, followed by breakfast, later in the day lunch, high tea, 3 hour drive, followed by dinner. The staff is warm, helpful, so proud of their community; the trackers and rangers are so adept at their work. We saw all animals and often. Our trip concluded in Zimbabwe with Victoria Falls. There are no words to describe the warmth of the people, the beauty of the country. Now home, no one can agree as to what part of the trip was the best. Too many bests, thanks to Philipa and her able team! We cannot wait to return. The tour in every way exceeded our expectations. This is a special travel experience.

Was beyond our expectation
Our vacation was beyond than we expect, this tour agency did a great job on arranging all activities we were planning to do from safari tour and visiting other local sites. They were on top on everything proving all the necessary information in advance and they were very reliable. We stayed at lodge during our tours and we were amazed how the cleanliness and tide of the lodges. They are very professional, I highly recommend them.

Not too good an MIRKA was the worst
The hotels quite good but the guide called MIRKA was very very unpolite and rude at all times. She didn´t want to take us to the places we had paid for and instead she took us to two places in order to buy... She wanted us to leave very expensive tips (more tan 20%) In Kruger the ranger explained in English in order that she could explain it to us but she never translated. The group was in Spanish and most of them couldn´t understand the ranger (she was very polite and the dirver too). MIRKA got confused with the timetable and was rude to us because of her mistakes. Awful experience. First time I got such a bad guide.

Great safari experience, fun and informative two days
Our safari with Magufwa Safari was wonderful! Great organisation, easy communication, nice accommodation, delicious food, very knowledgeable guide who has a passion for more than the big five. Big recommendation for everyone and thanks a lot Magufwa Safari!
