Perfect trip which offered any of the best attractions of Kenya and Tanzania - best guides for sure!
5/5

We had the pleasure to have a Safari with Raja, starting and ending in Nairobi, following several national parks in Kenya and Tanzania. Both of our guides (Jeff & Alan) were very kind and patient with a lot of specific knowledge and very safe driving skills. All the lodges we visited were on a very high standard and we enjoyed any of the stays. The mixture of lodges and tented camps was perfect any we do not have any complaints about this.
To our Safari-experience, we were extremely lucky to see all the big five within the days in a very rare condition, for example some cubs or hunting lions - just breathtaking! Thanks to the big experience and knowledge of the two guides, we had some very special encounters. Specially to talk about Lake Ndutu, which is not on every list for Safaris but very worth to make a stop between Serengeti and Ngorongoro NP.

Last but not least as well big thanks to Rajab from RajaTours, very easy to organize the safari, very good price for an unforgetable trip in Kenya and Tanzania. Thanks a lot!

Fiona at Inspired Feet Safaris was more than just a tour operator! She was our anchor in Kenya!
5/5

Having booked a budget safari, we knew to expect basic meals and accommodations. Still, everything was well organized and the time in the parks was unbelievable!

Fiona from Inspired Feet Safaris kept us informed and checked in on us regularly during our 7 days! While so many of our tour mates were having issues with their tour operators, Fiona was always accessible and reliable! She made sure to give us details and tricks to makes sure we had a great time on safari.

The parks are stunning, the wildlife breath-taking!

And I can't say enough about Fiona and Duke. They are a relatively young company that deserves to be recognized and supported! Not only were they helpful before and during the safari, they kept in touch during our second leg of the trip to the east coast of Kenya. We were lucky to meet with them before our flight home and even had a nice meal and a drink with Duke in Nairobi.

Do not hesitate to visit Kenya for safari, and definitely, do not hesitate to work with Fiona at Inspired Feet !

5/5

I recently went on a 3-day safari tour in Tanzania with Shengena Adventure, and I must say it was an incredible experience! Our tour operator, Mike, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, he ensured that every aspect of our journey was seamless and enjoyable.

Mike's knowledge of the local wildlife and ecosystems truly enhanced our safari experience. He went above and beyond to spot rare animals and provide us with fascinating insights into their behaviors and habitats. His passion for nature and conservation was truly inspiring.

The accommodations provided by Shengena Adventure were top-notch, offering comfort and luxury amidst the wilderness. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Overall, I can recommend Shengena Adventure and Mike highly enough. They exceeded all of my expectations and made this safari tour a truly unforgettable experience. I cannot wait to plan my next adventure with them!

Danke schön!

About: Kenya
Easier & more enjoyable than expected!
Overall rating
5/5

We loved our trip here! The country was easier to get around and more developed than we expected leading to a very comfotable and relaxed experience. The people are all generally very warm and helpful and hospitable, and also speak English as a national language there! It was a very international travel destination and we met people from all over the world on this trip which was neat!

Very safe as well, never felt unsafe or worried when we were there, although we didn't venture out at night very much.
We split our time 50/50 between safari'ing and adventuring around the country and capital city of Nairobi and the other half relaxing in Diani beach. Its great that you can have adventure and relaxation in the same spot!

awesome experience
5/5

Our Safari was booked by my travel agent back home so I do not know if our package matches exactly what is described in terms of the lodging portion of our experience, but we did spend 4 days between 3 areas, 2 within serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. It was just my wife and I, accompanied by our guide.
Safari Soles were very organized, on time for our pickup at the airport with great service from our friendly driver Chiff.
We met our guide, Innocent, on the morning we were to set out on our trip. He was to spend every day with us as our experienced guide.
Innocent was always forthcoming with information and seemed at ease answering all of our questions, he was always patient and would confirm with us if we wanted to move along before moving on to some other animal or view. He would always let us know what to expect during the coming days activities and was always ready to start on time every time.
We had great luck during our safari, as we got to see every single one of the most sought after species, but it definitely made a huge difference in that we had a knowledgeable guide that knew where to go and maintains good communication with other guides who shared info on game locations.
The 3 properties where we spent the night were to our complete liking. One was a tented camp in southern serengeti which was awesome. Comfortable and had everything needed, considering it was in the middle of the bush, it was top notch. The other two nights we spent in lodges, both surpassed our expectations. We did go in february and the temperature everywhere was very nice, probably not so during the dry season.
Food was always good, both at the lodges/camp and the pick nick lunches we had while on the road. The only exception i´d make to that was the packed lunch on the last day which was not up to the standards of the rest of the meals we had every single other time.
The vehicle itself had definitely seen a lot of adventures in its day, but that said it never failed us and was always comfortable.

Fantastic Safari company. Expert guides make all the difference!

Highly, highly recommend Wandering Thru!! From the smooth booking, with lots of advice, handled expertly by Ale, to the incredible skills and knowledge of Tristan in the field, we had the very BEST time. Ale was able to source the perfect accommodation for my family, within our budget and seamlessly organise everything. Tristan's intimate knowledge of the animals in the area meant that we were able to connect with them on a personal level making our experience more than we could have dreamt of. I will never stop being amazed at his ability to read tracks in the way he does. His understanding of their behaviour allowed him to predict their movements and get us into the optimal viewing positions. His photographer's eye also ensured we had prime positions for photographic opportunities, and I not only learned more about photography in our 5 days than I have in years but was able to capture the best shots of my life. If I am ever able to return to Africa, I will 100% be booking with Wandering Thru again. I can't speak highly enough of this company. Thanks for making our trip a lifetime experience guys!!! Note- I have traveled ALOT through Africa, from self-driving to privately guided tours and everything in between. These guys were hands-down the best!

Ethical local company, fantastic experience.
5/5

Fantastic locally owned company. Phillimon and his team took the best care of us and we were treated like royalty. Actually, more like treasured family. Food was great and Phillimon's skills as a tracker and guide meant that we had some incredible sightings. We booked and paid a deposit with Phillimon only weeks before Covid hit and had to postpone this over and over. He honoured our deposit for FOUR YEARS!!! Many other companies would have taken the money and run, but he not only held it, he kept the price the same. That's ethics!! I highly recommend Walking Stick Safaris!!!!

Fantastic! They proveed to be 5-star and so much more
5/5

Went to Kenya and Uganda for an 11 day safari. Since day one their attention was great. They structured a nice safari to diferent national parks, each one better than the previous and ending with the AMAZING Masai Mara. Hotels were great and guides knew quite well about each park and the animals we could spot on each. We ended seeing all the animals we were looking for, so we were quite happy about it. Overall, i would definetly rate them 5 stars. Since day one (before doing any payment) the communication with the staff was impressive, which at the end gave us the confidence to book with them. Would definetly do it again! As for our gorilla trekking trip, we saw rhem around 30min into the trekking, which was fantastic. Overall, really happy with the trip we had.

Best Safari Experience
5/5

Our experience with Amshar Serengeti Adventures was truly unforgettable. Exploring the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Park was an absolute delight. Witnessing a plethora of wildlife including lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, zebras, hippos, and even flamingos was mesmerizing. The synergy between these two parks was impeccable, offering a comprehensive safari experience.

Our guide, Baraka, was instrumental in enhancing our journey. His extensive knowledge, experience, and humor added immense value to the trip. Not only did he provide insightful information about the culture and wildlife, but he also entertained us with captivating stories. His infectious good mood uplifted our spirits throughout the adventure.

Moreover, the comfort of the jeep seats and the provision of various drinks further enriched our experience. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better safari experience with Amshar Serengeti Adventures. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an enriching and enjoyable wildlife expedition.
