Amazing, warm, instructive & respectful experience from Lucas African Adventures in Serengeti
5/5

I had the chance to travel for 5 days in Serengeti with Lucas in 2021 - the experience was perfect.

Lucas was well organized, brought a great team of professionals like Mr. Ali for cooking; above all Lucas was absolutely passionate about his work, between biodiversity education and tourism. He wisely chose the circuit in Serengeti, made us discover parts of the part that we would have never seen. He did his best for us to be exposed to the most fascinating wildlife scenes, and saw all the great predators, hippos bathing in remote areas, wilder beasts and their great migration, elephants…

I cannot recommend enough Lucas and his team for all trips in Serengeti and the region. You are very missed dear friend Lucas!

My 5th trip with Amazing Memories and still my favorite tour operator
5/5

This is my 5th trip with Amazing Memories Safaris as my Tour Operator and my 11th trip to Kenya. I first worked with Anne and Joseph’s company for my trip in 2017 (but had gotten to know Anne in 2014) and they have gone above and beyond to meet my expectations every time. Their communication is fantastic and they continue to answer any questions I might have (even after 10 trips).

It has been 3 years since I’ve been back to what I consider my second home. I was so excited to be coming back. There is nothing better than arriving at the airport late at night (and I had a 2.5 hour delay) and being greeted by the smiling faces of Anne and Joseph as well as a couple of new members of the team.

I began the planning in August, 2023, letting Anne know of the 3 tented camps I wanted to stay at (Eagle View, Offbeat Ndoto and Elephant Garden Camp). Two were new to me. I also picked a new place to stay on the front end of the trip, Karen Gables in Karen (near the places I planned to visit on my full day in Nairobi). From beginning to end, everything fell into place. She made sure the lodging knew of my preferences, including guides, beds, food and any allergies. Anne also knew I had had recent shoulder surgery and would need added assistance so that was arranged. Some of my previous trips have been completely over land. For this trip, I decided to fly the bush planes to my locations except the short transport between Eagle View and Offbeat Ndoto. It does save quite a bit of time and my back also appreciates it. Amazing Memories handled all of my internal flights perfectly.

During the planning process, there were a couple of changes that happened. The Kenyan government switched from requiring an eVisa to an Electronic Travel Authorization. Luckily, my eVisa that I had already processed, was still accepted. In addition, the Kenya Wildlife Service implemented new park fees, including paying a park fee to Nairobi National Park (which Sheldrick Wildlife Trust backs into and is required to pay even if you are not vising the park). Anne made sure I knew of these changes which were totally out of their control.

Over an enjoyable dinner on my last evening before heading to the airport, Amazing Memories always takes the time to ask how things went (although we communicated during the trip via email) and if there is anything they can improve upon. It would be difficult for them to improve, because everything runs smoothly from beginning to end. Their abilities to handle all of my safari needs is why I continue to work with them and have recommended them to friends and family.

Wonderful, knowledgeable safari guide! I highly recommend Lucas!
5/5

Lucas’ tour guide was wonderful! We visited all the hotspots for animals in Tanzania.. my favorite being The Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater! Lucas knew so much about the birds of the Serengeti and inspired us all to become passionate about them as well! I can’t recommend working with Lucas enough… a 10/10 experience! Can’t wait to go back and experience it all again.

Fantastic 18 days trip in Uganda
5/5

From the start we had a great experience with Tubale. Before the trip Annette was always available for any questions or concerns and our itinerary was adjusted easily to our wishes. The trip itself was a wonderful experience, especially thanks to our great guide Shafic who was always helpful and very knowledgeable! We got to see a lot of different parts of Uganda with some history, culture, nature and of course all the wildlife Uganda has to offer - it was a very good and varied itinerary for us. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience!

This was one of the best weeks of my life! The Alpine Chat crew was amazing - they picked us up from the airport and arranged lodging on either end of the trip for us. The guides, porters, and cook on the trip were all top notch - entertaining, fun, supportive, and helped make the experience so incredible. I would 100% recommend alpine chat to anyone looking to hike Kili with an experienced and great crew.

Hodari Afrika Safaris was an incredible Safari which i did with my Friends. The process of booking was really smooth and all went as planned. From pickup to drop off .It was indeed an Unforgettable experience thanks to our guide John, who was very helpful ,informative and had passionate about Wildlife and did a great job to making sure we could see the big 5 and other animals so close. We had very comfortable lodges especially in Maasai Mara which was our favorite :) where we had a private Chef who prepared fresh meals for us everyday.

Absolutely first class day out never to be forgotten
5/5

Carlsberg don't do Tarangire safaris...but MIGRATION VENTURE AFRICA do and I would highly recommend them. Booked through GetYourGuide they had little reviews but all positive and this is another one I'm writing now.

From the minute Dennis picked us up he was a true Ambassador and proud to represent MIGRATION VENTURE AFRICA.
Immaculately presented with a great smile and welcome aboard the well equipped extended Safari Specificaion Toyota Land Cruiser, with power and USB charging ports and well stocked fridge. We set off on the 2 and a half hour journey from just outside Arusha to Tarangire nature reserve, which may seem a long journey, but there was lots of African life to see on the way and the journey there itself was really interesting and Dennis pointed out places and things of interest on the way, also educating us on African culture and language. We stopped along the way at Lions Cafe and bakery and the breakfast menu offering, and food and service were excellent.

Once we arrived at Tarangire Nature Reserve, Dennis sorted out the entry ticket with minimum delay and popped the roof of the 4X4 Safari open allowing us a perfect 360 degree fresh air view and we were on our way through the gate and into the reserve. Dennis was on the radio throughout and gathering info from other members of his team about where the animals were and throughout the next few hours we saw the following extensive list of animals:
Warthogs, Impala, Water buffalo, Lions (pack of 6) drinking at the waters edge, Numerous herds of Elephants, some up very close , Monkeys, Ostrich, Giraffe, Vulture, Effassa waterbug , Giraffe, Oxbecca (on giraffe neck), Zebra, Wildebeast, Grant gazelle.
And of course the Massai everywhere...with their herds of goats and cows.
Dennis was brilliant at guiding the safari 4x4 to each location and arriving at each spot to get a great view. He was a competent driver and we always felt safe with him in control of the vehicle.
The journey home was great with some good tunes through the Bluetooth and Dennis leading the singing. Most memorable was his rendition of The Lion King track "In the Jungle"

A truly memorable day out.
Would highly recommend and can't thank Dennis enough for his experience, skill, knowledge and company throughout. A true Ambassador for MIGRATION VENTURE AFRICA and for Tanzania.

Highly recommended.

Everything was organized better than expected.
5/5

Daylight team was very friendly, organized everything (transfered from hotel in Watemu, booked local flight to Nairobi and back to hotel.) In Nairobi meet us with gifts :) Driver also was very friendly - did everything what he could for us to see all possible animals. Super service - recommend Daylight team to everyone who asks. Perfect safari.

Flexible, easy and helpful.
5/5

Amazing Memories safaris were very responsive and flexible with what we wanted to do on our trip, and answered all of our questions quickly. When it came to the trip, it was absolutely amazing. All of our accommodation was brilliant and had great food and service.

We visited Ol Pejeta, Naivasha and then two days in Masai Mara. Ol Pejeta and Masai Mara were particularly amazing, Naivasha had less to do but walking with the giraffes on Crescent Island was the main highlight, otherwise, you get equally close to all of those animals in the other places, so it was slightly unnecessary.

Ol Pejeta had loads of rhinos, night drive opportunities and a water hole at the accommodation and a great density of wildlife. Masai Mara had the variety of animals you want to see on the trip.

One of our favourite parts though, was our guide, Daniel. We had a private safari which wasn’t initially planned but turned out to be a great thing. You spend a lot of time driving, so your guide is really important. It meant Daniel became a key part of our trip and his knowledge of everything on animals, Kenyan history, tribes, government and anything we asked was unbelievable. There was not one question he could not answer - and we had many.. On top of that, he’s one of the loveliest guys you’re likely to meet. We’d highly recommend requesting him, and know we will when we come back.
