Extremely valuable budget safari
My solo African adventure with 8 days budget safari in Kenya with several different locations has been fantastic! The animals exceeded all my expectations. Just keep in mind that you can't have too high expectations in terms of accommodation, vehicles and food if you choose a budget safari, but the amount and variety of animals you get to enjoy in any case. And personally, even as a 68 years old female, I thought everything flowed really well despite that you get to mingle with other travelers in a mini van (with a pop-up roof) and might have to change both travel companions and drivers during the tour. This review is based upon MY experiences and expectations. Do your reseach and make sure to explain what your preferences are and Benson will fix it!
My tour started with two days in Masai Mara where I saw and got close to a wide range of animals. Just amazing!
Had also an overnight stay in Nakuru and a nice safari in the national park. Did a boat ride on beautiful Lake Naivasha and stayed one night in Naivasha. Continued to Amboseli with an early morning stop at Hell's gate national park where it is possible to walk or bike among the animals.
The three last nights I stayed at a surprisingly good camp for beeing on a budget safari. And there I did two full day's amazing safaries and unexpectedly got to see a cheetah and a pygmy hippo among many other species and, of course, very many elephants!
All this was made possible to a very reasonable price thanks to Benson at Tall Masai Safaries. All my communication with Benson, from my first request, the pick up at the airport as well as during and after the tour, have been absolutely đź’Ż percent pleasant, smooth, clear, quick, flexible and correct all the time! So happy I found just this safari agent and I will certainly use them for any other safaries in Kenya and Tanzania. Very satisfied!!

It was great
Despite facing unprecedented flooding and travel challenges, Safari Adventure was incredibly supportive, providing constant assistance and problem-solving throughout our journey. The camps they recommended were fantastic, meeting all our criteria for animal sightings. However, we encountered some difficulty with the refund process when redirected to a less expensive camp due to the conditions

Very pleasant trip good explications very good driver paying attention to the visitors
It is quite a long way from Johannesburg to the Park but the visit justify the trip.
The driver is very attentive and prudent.
The price is interesting, nearly cheap

Joseph and his team are exceptional. They made sure all of us were able to successfully climb Kilimanjaro in a safe and enjoyable manner at all times. Their support, the logistics, the entire planning process was very well done. Albert is a great guide with perfect navigation skills
We took 4 day tour for Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Our guide was Albert who had a good navigation of Masai Mara national park, thanks to what we could see almost all big inhabitant's of the park. A big thanks to Albert. The camp in Masai Mara was facilitated enough to accommodate you in 2-3 days. It was a tent with built in shower and toilet with hot water running all the time. Lucy and Gladyce were very welcoming and smiley hosts. Also big thanks to Morris who was in constant contact with me and took us from hotel in Nairobi to the meeting point. Overall, we had an amazing experience and recommend this tour if you want to experience safari in Kenya.

The tour guy was nice but demanded extra pay.
I booked the tour through TripAdvisor, securing it for the listed price of $85 for the 6:30 tour. However, the organizer contacted me via WhatsApp on the evening of the tour, stating he would pick me up at 6:15. Upon arrival, he proceeded to pick up other participants from a different hotel before reaching the park gate. To my surprise, he then requested an additional $45, catching me off guard. Reluctantly, I agreed to pay in cash upon our return to my hotel, complying with the unexpected demand.
To further add to the frustration, we were left waiting for approximately 40 minutes at the park gate, with no communication about the delay. Eventually, the tour commenced. My concern lies in the discrepancy between the advertised price paid online and the unanticipated extra charge in person. This unexpected financial request and lack of transparency about delays were disappointing aspects of an otherwise anticipated experience.

Friendly and professional
We went with Jocky Tours and Safaris on three safaris.To Masai Mara, Amboseli and Nairobi National Parks.Our guide Raheem was the best. He drove closely to big lions family, a large herds of elphants and rhinoceros families in Nairobi Park. It was our best safaris. We definitely go agaian with Jocky!

Lucas is so knowledgeable and experienced in the parks, was great with our young kids too.
Lucas was an amazing guide for our family in Serengeti and Ngorogoro. He knew all the best spots to go, was so flexible with our young kids. He taught us all so much and was a great role model and teacher for our kids to learn about the biodiversity in the parks. We would strongly recommend him to others.
