It was the trip of a lifetime!
If you had told me 13 months ago that I would be returning from the most amazing safari adventure in South Africa and Zimbabwe in July 2018, I would have laughed in your face. I had no intention on doing any of this. But then my parents surprised my family and my sister's family with a trip. A year later we were on our way to South Africa for the trip of a lifetime. The rest is history.
None of this would have been possible (nor as elegant and amazing) without Kanyezi Africa Safari. My mom had secretly been planning this trip for all of us (ten people total, including four kids between the ages of 7 - 14) for three years. She developed a close working relationship with Chris, who was incredibly helpful, kind, knowledgable, responsive, and supportive. It is because of Chris that we saw so many spectacular things. He worked hand-in-hand with my mom to arrange tours and sights that would be appropriate and meaningful to our family. He personally took us around Cape Town. We learned so much! He also arranged little things, like a gourmet seaside picnic, flowers at the airport upon arrival, and great restaurants.
And that was only Cape Town. After that we went to Sabi Sabi Lodge for five days of safari. Chris made sure we had the best guide and the best rooms. Everything was taken care of. The animals, of course, were spectacular. (I highly recommend Sabi Sabi Lodge -- it was out of this world.) After that we went to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe -- it also was magnificent.
Chris had everything arranged for us and anticipated every want and need for us throughout our 17 day adventure. Even our flights (which included 25 hours of flying time on our return!) were meticulously thought out. We didn't have to think about anything throughout the trip. I think this was the first real vacation I have taken in 20 years -- I've never been so relaxed and at ease!
I highly recommend booking your safari vacation through Kanyezi African Safaris. It was the best decision that I never made!

Fantastic, the stuff of dreams.
We have been to a large number of countries and this was not our first African safari, having already visited South Africa and Swaziland before, but our trip to Tanzania was definitely one of our very best trips ever anywhere. We travel a lot, in fact these last 12 months alone we have been to Italy, Norway, England Russia and India (tiger safari). The trip in Tanzania was perfect throughout. We wanted to have a good safari and then a couple of days relaxation at a beach resort and so we contacted Soul of Tanzania. They were very helpful and patient with us in the planning stages. When we were happy with the package we paid and waited for the day to come for our trip. As soon as we arrived we were picked up by Nico our driver/guide. Nico was a very knowledgeable and efficient guide and a superb driver. He knew we wanted to see as many animals as possible and he worked hard, from dawn to dusk to make our dream holiday come true. Whenever he spotted something (which was all the time) he always expertly and deftly drove up close to the action. We came up close to all kinds of animals including lions, but we always felt safe and protected by Nico. He was always calm and great to get along with and answered all our questions. He was patient with our requests. He knew we wanted to see the Great Migration of the wildebeest and with his expertise he managed against all odds to drive us to within feet of this migration crossing the Grumeti River. National Geographic stuff!! One day our game drive stretched beyond sundown, (due to distances involved) and he turned the rest of our drive into an impromptu night game drive!! He used to keep an eye out for the time due to the large distances involved yet always give us enough time to enjoy the wildlife milling around us and to take all the photos we needed. The jeep was always kept spotless and well supplied with drinks and goodies, and when it was time for lunch he used to park at the allotted site, lay out the tablecloth and serve us hot lunch, tea and biscuits much to the envy of other tourists with other companies who happened to be near by. When it was time to leave we left behind us a friend. If I had to go back I would simply head straight for Soul of Tanzania offices and if possible ask for Nico! The rest of the holiday was spent in Zanzibar at the Gold Resort (another review). Well done Soul of Tanzania. Everyone did his job to perfection, from planning to implementation. We know why you chose that name!

Dream Holiday
A dream Holiday.
My trip as a whole was very well prepared and perfectly organized, the mere fact that I had not one problem on such a long journey, is amazing!
On this trip, I visited Tanzania between 5th July 2018 and 12th July 2018. I am very happy with my trip , I wish to thank Savilinyi for making it possible in so very little time.
I will not hesitate to book another trip with Get Together Adventures and I will highly recommend to everyone and I will surely book with you again!

Kanyezi and Sabi Sabi are an exceptional Safari company- highly recommend!
My family and I recently returned from a South Africa vacation and used Kanyezi (Chris and Michael) for our trip. We could not have been happier with entire process and experience. Having never been to this region we nervous and unsure of how to plan the trip. Kanyezi Safari's walked us through the planning, the booking, the visa's/passports, the medical/health prep, and the final details including what to pack. It could not have been easier. We chose July (African Winter) due to more comfortable temps, less mosquitos and no snakes. Although the landscape was brown (dry season) it was still beautiful and we felt it was a good trade off. The accommodations were excellent - very comfortable, and quite luxurious while maintaining a safari camp feel. Our guide was the same gentleman everyday- a sixty year old native South African (Elliott). He was extremely knowledgeable, of the land, the animals, and the culture both modern and historic. It was joy to get to meet him. The staff in general was extremely attentive and accommodating to our every need. The food was exceptional including a mix of American, European, and South African cuisine prepared daily by a five star chef. The meals were beautifully served and paired with a full compliment of wine, beer and cocktails if you desire. I was happy to learn that this company also supports (financially and hands on) preservation of the land, the animals and the local people including active support of the orphanage in the local village which we visited. I absolutely 100% recommend this company!

Trip of a lifetime.
Had to write a quick note about our trip. Malcolm is an excellent guide and a fun person to tour with. We enjoyed our journey to Botswana and Zimbabwe. The campsites were very nice and it was fun to rough it and cook and eat under the stars at night. All our border crossings were seamless and we had no problems with anything during our trip. We relaxed and let Malcolm give us a tour like we have never had before! Hope to go back and pick a different trip to do with him sometime in the future. Thanks Malcolm!

It was an amazing 6 days safari trip and totally worth it!!!
My friends was with Karibu in April and she made the recommendation to me. Turns out that Karibu is definitely the right choice. Their staff is really nice and Robert always with quick response. We had 8 people in a van and have enough space during the game drive. Our driver Laurence is a really good driver with good skills and experience in game drive. Laurence can make sure us to see the most of animals in Masai Mara. On our third day, Laurence ensured us witness the whole process of Cheetah hunting. It is breath taking!!!!! The food in the camp and picnic lunch is nice. Healthy and delicious. The hotel in Nakuru is great! All in all, the trip is amazing and totally worth it!! Thanks Karibu for the amazing 6 days safari trip and really enjoyed it!! Totally worth it!! Due to unusual rain from May to June, didn't see the great migration in Mara River. Bit pity, however, guess it is another reason to get back next year :)))

The service provided was very good from the beginning when I reached the company. They were always responsive and arranged everything I needed for the Safari. We had a wonderful tour in Uganda for 10 days through Africa Adventure Vacations.
Our escort Moses was outstanding, friendly and helping. We moved with our mother who was not in good health conditions but Moses would always do the best for our mother to be happy. Robert planned our vacation so professionally and it allowed us to visit all the big national parks of Uganda and we saw all the animals. The vehicle was spacious for our family and the lodges were good with perfect services, particularly Sambiya River Lodge Murchison Falls, Crater safari lodge Kibale Forest, Gorilla mist lodge and Mihingo lodge. Morning horse riding in the jungle, Chimpanzee and gorilla encounter where my best activities. The combination of wildlife, gorilla tracking and horse riding was so perfect and I confidently recommend Africa Adventure Vacations with Moses as your safari escort.

Amazing safari and a great organisation!
We’ve had a 6 day safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and NgoroNgoro and it was amazing! The communication with Evelyn was really good and we would like to thank her for that. Further the commitment of the driver/guide and cook were really good and gave us a nice holiday! We saw a lot of animals this 6 days and it will be for sure a unforgettable adventure.

Excellent planning and great execution. Super service and very courteous people. The safari was excellent and all places well covered. Hotels and rooms booked were lovely. Overall a super experience and definitely worth recommending.
