Good value tour!!
5/5

The driver and the schedule is good, but the hotel/tent could be better. The last camp site (Kimana Tented Camp) is no hot water in the tent and no water in the sink. We told the tent manager, but they did not fix it. Except for this, everything is good. The driver Edward is very nice.

couldn't have been with a better team
5/5

returning from a 2 week stay in Tanzania, including an 8-day Lemosho Kilimanjaro Trek, and a 4-day safari (tarangire, serengeti, and ngorongoro ... still went ahead with that aggressive itinerary, though many comments about how much time would be spent traveling between the parks).

we went with E-Trip Africa, after sending out many queries, questions, and scouring tripadvisor for reviews and feedback on different operators. we solicited quotes and itineraries from 15+ operators, with the initial filter being affiliated with KPAP (though the prices between KPAP and non KPAP did not seem to differ by too much, i was asking for quotes for 7 people). It was a very tough choice when we narrowed it down, but was most impressed with the details and promptness from Aurelie (though it took a bit to initially get the conversation going). she listed out the costs, lodging locations, and was flexible in making suggestions when we wanted to cut costs.

we stayed at stella maris prior to our trek, the staff and driver there were extremely friendly and accommodating. we had a spare day to explore Moshi (we did have one very persistent local who followed, and kept trying to get us to go to his shop for souvenirs).

our kili trek team was led by Caspar, assistant guides Ema and Steven. we enjoyed the company and support of our team very much, including the food prepared by our chef Gudluck. Mweta was always there to greet us in the morning, ensuring our bottles and water bladders were always filled, and we were eating as much as we could. joseph, the tent director and lead porter, was always the cheery 'hype-man'. kagiya, daniel, and clearance were also great help on summit day. Aurelie gave us some comfort beforehand, emphasizing safety. on the mountain, we saw Caspar and team execute on this, we had daily medical checks assessing how we were generally feeling, oxygen saturation via pulse oximeter, blood pressure readings, and even checking for fluid in lungs with stethoscope (that one may have been extreme, but it turned out one person from the trek crew was feeling ill and they heard something like fluid in their lungs)

our safari guide was Aladdin, he was very patient with the packed itinerary and even asked his wife to drop off some bean bags for our cameras, before leaving arusha, since i had forgotten to fill mine up. Aladdin also seemed to be able to answer every question we had for him. we stayed at Eilene's Tree Inn, Nieleze Tented Cabin, and Rhino Lodge. he helped us spot lions, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, water buffalo, cheetah, a really distant rhino, many elephants, birds, and the list goes on...

Amazing Safari, Great Tour Guide, Delicious food, Professional service
5/5

The service we got from the guys from Mero Sloopes was very good and professional, from the pickup/drop offs and the preparations for the safari (payment and stuff). The only bad part about that was the Hotel we stayed before and after the trip, it was very mediocre (especially the restaurant).

Emanuel, our Safari Tour guide, was amazing. He had 14 years of experience, and knew exactly where we should be at what time and where the hiding places of the animals were. We had a great opportunity to see a leopard feasting on a wildebeast in the tree. We saw countless other animals, including the big 5 (although the Rino's we saw only at a distance). Only negative point I can think of is that he did not always explain his knowledge about many animals until we asked for it, I would've liked him to show more initiative in explaining all that he knew (which was a lot!).

Prosper, our chef, was also very good! He prepared meals for us on campings that blew most other meals we had during our entire holiday out of the water. I'd say one of the best aspects of the trip was the great food!

Best budget safari that exceeds expectations!
5/5

Six of us went on a Safari with Hekima in the month of June for 5 days. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. We had an amazing guide who could spot animals from afar. We were so lucky that we saw all the Big 5, Small 5 and the ugly 5. We had a great cook with us who gave us delicious food to eat and also ensured that everyone’s diet was taken care of. The entire safari was very well handled and our guide went out of his way to take us to see the great migration. It was an absolute pleasure and a wonderful experience. Hekima took care of us and ensured that we had enough water to drink, food to eat and beds to sleep on throughout the journey. We not only had a great experience but made lifelong friendships as well.

Great safari experience seeing the Big Five with our fantastic guide, Kikitu.
5/5

Not knowing what to expect going in, my girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by our 3-day safari tour with Axis African Safaris. We got to see the Big Five as well as a cheetah and its prey, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes etc. The accommodation outside the park was great with fine beds as well as own toilet and shower and decent food.

However, what made the tour out of the ordinary was our guide, Kikitu Douglas. Kikitu was great professionally doing a good job of locating the animals and telling interesting facts and stories about them. He obviously went the extra mile in order to give us the best possible experience. On top of this Kikitu was very energetic, talkative and funny and seemed to have a wide-spread reputation among the other guides. Furthermore, he was very understanding and helpful when my girlfriend and I were feeling sick. We can only give Kikitu our greatest recommendation.

One thing you should note is that the Masai village charged 2000 KES per person as entrance fee. Something we were not aware of. However, it was very interesting.

Great safari with lots of wildlife, expected more information about the animals
4/5

We had a great safari adventure seeing lots of animals like cheetahs, lions, elefants, giraffes, buffalos and wildebeest. Sadly not the big 5, but that doesn't change our enthusiasm about the safari and the impressive animals! We stayed at Lenchada camp, which is very good. Clean tents with your own bathroom. Staff is friendly and the cook is great! Axis Africa's service is very good with an early morning pick up from our place in Nairobi and a drop-off at lake Naivasha for a little fee. Contact with Axis is great, they reacted very fast each time and informed about our wellbeing during the trip. The only point of criticism was our driver. His driving skills on the rough road were good, but he was not very willing to give some more information or interesting facts about the animals we saw. He was also very kind to help another car stuck in the mud but let us waiting for 45 minutes after a long drive that day, and a tractor to pull out the other car already arrived.

An unforgettable week in Uganda!!
5/5

I had a wonderful time in Uganda. Everything was perfectly organized. Picking up from the airport, the lodges, our great guide Ronald and all the amazing tours, everything was perfect. It was my first trip to Africa and I was a little bit nervous, but there was no reason to be. Everything went smooth and there was no single situation where I felt unsafe or uncomfortable. All the guides were helpful, kind and responsible and explained so many things about culture, nature and society in Uganda. Seeing all the amazing animals especially the gorillas was an unforgettable eyperience.
I can fully recommend Gorilla Tours!!!!

Unforgettable Experience
5/5

Affordable Kilimanjaro created an experience that was not only unforgettable but was clear and transparent. We felt understood and informed by some of the brightest and most experienced staffs during our trip.

Collins our guide was classic. He not only provided the essentials, he went the extra mile when it came to information, story sharing and was very experienced and took great care of everyone. The Kilimanjaro Lemosho route views are amazing and we ate real food the entire trip.

Had a FABULOUS time
5/5

Had a FABULOUS time. We had a large group and Affordable Kilimanjaro made the planning delightful and chose a perfect itinerary for us.

This was a fantastic adventure from start to finish. Beautiful scenery, great company and delicious meals. What an absolute treat to have someone organize an adventure trek tour so you can sit back and relax. Other climbing tours aren't nearly as friendly and fun; this is the best I've ever been on.

My group had the best time!

17 days tour completed wonderfully without a hitch
5/5

Stephen met us a day before the tour was to start and even sent the vehicle and guide to meet us. Steve was our guide and drove us during our tour. Both of them were always available to address any queries we had. Steve was knowledgeable and accomodating whenever we wanted to stop somewhere. He was also good at spotting animals and birds. Since we were pure vegetarians, Stephen made sure we got good Indian veg food everywhere we went. All in all we had great fun and a successful tour.
