Three days Safari’s lifetime memories
5/5

Our guide John is an incredible person, friendly and made us feel very comfortable.
We hade the most amazing and lifetime experience in safari.
We had a blessing of seeing the African’s species not just once, which we couldn’t even dream of it.
Ali, our chef, was really nice and we had delicious meals.
Totally recommended!

Relaxing in Botswana
5/5

I booked a 6-night 7-day safari with Africa Uncovered Safaris. My driver and main guide Muza took good care of me the whole time. We were off to a good start seeing a leopard cross the road on the way to Chobe National Park. I experienced lots of animal sitings, as well as camping and canoeing on the Okavango Mokoro. I have to say, the lodges were excellent - very comfortable and clean places to stay. Muza my guide was extremely experienced. He's been taking clients on Safaris for over 20 years. Overall, it was a top-notch experience.

Terrible Experience with Gardenia African Safaris
1/5

Gardenia African Safaris felt very unprofessional in their operations and what I faced in reality is very different from what the reservation agent told me during booking and also what the online reviews show about them. We had booked for complete safari package for our family but it completely destroyed our experience.

1. The driver showed up 5 hours late at Arusha airport for picking us up even though we had communicated the arrival time in advance and the reservation agent promised that the driver will be there to pick us up on time. But after arrival there was no one to pick up and we had to use the airport wifi to call their whatsapp multiple times before they picked up and told us they they confused the date and will send someone immediately to pick us up. Even that took 5 hours to arrive. We had informed them the flight details in advance to avoid this but anyways they messed it up.

2. During the safari, the driver, Matey, was very chatty and kept crossing the personal boundary while asking questions and even kept getting very close and touchy when taking photos. I felt very uncomfortable so I switched seats but then he did the same with my sister and finally we sounded out our concerns and he just made jokes and said this is normal in Tanzania and asked us to relax. That was really infuriating and annoying.

3. They also made a mixup with the number of guests when we arrived at one of the hotels. They booked for less number of people than our family size and when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff asked us to pay extra for additional person and we had to call the office and it took a long time to resolve the issue even though it was not our fault.

4. During safaris, the driver was always in a hurry and we could not enjoy the game drives very well. Also he drives very rashly and we were scared during the transfers.

I think their reviews of the platforms are not very honest and they are really not capable of handling private package safaris. Please look for long standing and more reputed safari operators for your trip.

Smooth booking experience & wonderful experience!
5/5

Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We are extremely grateful to Joseph for making our trip so easy and hassle-free. He was very patient, which made booking and planning experience went smoothly. He always easily got our needs and help us adjust the itinerary and changed the hotels as requested. We were lucky enough to see different animals and birds every day. Our guide was very professional and very nice. He trying to find the animals we are looking for. He is also a safe driver which is very important as the raining season coming. We would definitely recommend them for anyone planning a safari in Kenya & Tanzania.

Amazing staff, unforgettable safari, and incredible food made this Kruger trip perfect!
5/5

I just got back from a 7-day Kruger safari at Tremisana Lodge, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

The staff there is incredible. Ed goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need—you really feel at home the entire time. And Mama Dee… her cooking is unreal. You definitely won’t go hungry, that’s for sure.

The safari team is what really made it special. Vee has such an awesome personality—super easy to talk to, and by the end of the trip he felt more like a friend than a guide. Smiley lives up to his name completely—he brings so much energy and culture to every drive with his “hakuna matatas” and “WOWs.” It’s impossible not to have a good time with him around.

Raymond was probably the most knowledgeable guide I’ve ever met. You can tell he’s deeply connected to the land—being from a village nearby—and you learn more from him than you ever could from a book. And Andy’s calm, laid-back vibe combined with his knowledge of the animals just ties everything together perfectly.

I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience—the people, the safari, and the environment all made it unforgettable.

An exciting adventure, always with care
5/5

Me and my group of 7 friends had the trip of a lifetime (or two), all planned by Esther at Leisure Escapes Safaris! Leading up to the trip, we really appreciated how considerate Esther was to ensure we knew our options and answered each and everyone of our (many) questions. We did a 7 day safari to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Mara, staying at lodges in the parks at each step.

For most of our crew, this was their first Safari. Each and everyone was absolutely blown away with how up close they got with the animals. Each of the lodges we visited was unique and brought something special to our trip -- from the Elephant heard camped in the "backyard" of Ol Tukai Lodge to the stunning Mara views of the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

We had an exciting end to the trip, with a high Mara river after a nights rain, because the river was not passable from our lodge, Esther expertly guided us through booking a last minute flight from the nearby airstrip. The entire group enjoyed this as a final adventure and were really impressed with how Esther was able to help us out at the last minute and arrange for an alternative way to get back and make our flight out of Nairobi.
