Diverse awesomeness
I was in Kruger National Park and also in a smaller game reserve near Johannesburg. In both experiences, I was able to be very close to nature and animals, which was an extraordinary experience. If you like nature, I definitely suggest doing a safari. The bush is really quiet, and I loved that the most. It was magnificent to see and hear Elephants in their natural habitat, playing in the water and among themselves. The people are extremely friendly and nice, and always open to answer to your questions about the area and about animals.
Johannesburg has its own vibes, and you feel how vibrant the city is.

Viva safaris was a trip of a lifetime!
We loved Viva Safari tour. Excellent guiding and accommodation was great if you are looking for value for medium end tour. Saw all the big 5 and more. The scenery was beautiful and people so friendly and helpful. We would recommend South Africa to all. We did Jo’berg to Capetown. Fantastic.

Fantastic wild and urban places loaded with new and interesting sights and experiences!
Spent three days in Johannesburg, including staying in Rosebank and doing a tour of Constitution Hill, Soweto, and the Apartheid Museum. Food, history, and culture all amazing!
Spent another four days on safari in Kruger National Park. Incredible experience seeing some of the rarest and most charismatic animals in their natural habitat, including lions, leopards, white rhinos, zebra, impala, eagles, hawks, tortoises, chameleons, I can literally go on and on!
Finished trip in Cape Town. Had a fantastic experience staying in Camps Bay and traveling around the city seeing the beaches, hiking Table Mountain, and traveling out to the beautiful wine country.

Absolutely beautiful country with scenery that leaves one breathless.
I recommend the scenic routes, drive to the Cape, Hermanos. visit the beautiful vineyards in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Also a must do is a couple of nights in a reserve to see the animals up close. We stayed at the Inverdoon reserve and it was super.

South Africa is rich with wildlife, the best country to visit.
This was my first safari, and the trip was fantastic. Everything was up to standard. Big ups to Andre and Heidi for being helpful from day 1 until the last day. Perfect!

A troubled country
Our tour with safaribookings went on very satisfactory - we saw almost all the animals we came for.
Regarding tourism there is a long way to go before we can walk freely in the streets and that’s a shame. Get that fixed

Stunning and unforgettable experience
Me and my mother went on a 16 day trip visiting Cape Town, driving along the garden route and ending on a lovely safari experience at Nambu Camp. We had the pleasure to have one of the best guides in South Africa, Terence. I recommend this experience to anyone who is looking into it. Defines the best way to end your trip is by doing a safari. You will enjoy the calmness and nature of the area, and you’ll have nothing else to worry about.

Wow! Beyond expectations
The ease of booking, the pickup at our Hotel to the arrival at the first Camp, it was seamless and professional. We weren't there very long when an elephant wandered through the carpark! The Safari's were full of interest with knowledgeable drivers and really lived up to our excitement. The Camp accommodation bettered our imagined standard. The day in Kruger proved to us that it really wasn't long enough, but with our limited timeframe, we knew this was going to be the case. What an exciting time. Our 'Tree-Lodge' experience was as described in the brochure, but didn't describe the Leopard sleeping under a Lodge being woken up and growling because the guest snored loudly all night! You couldn't script a scenario like that! Our time soon came to an end with a promise to ourselves that we need to come back and allow much longer in this great area. The Safari exceeded our perception of what we were expecting and the Staff were very interesting to chat with. A real 5-star experience, recommended.

The California of Africa
We visited Cape Town which I refer to as “the California of Africa” we stayed in Sea Point, Stellenbosch and Camps Bay. Camps bay was absolutely gorgeous! Very similar to Laguna Beach Ca. We then flew to Hudspruit to the Elephant Plains Lodge and WOW!! Our safari accommodations were superb and our trek guide Chris and Nic were great! When they tell you your guide makes the difference !!! It’s 100 true!! Chris and Nic were able to trek the BIG 5 in one drive on our second day it was a very rare and special day!!! Nic even had his shaved in honor of such an accomplishment!! Africa is truly magical and South Africa will always have a piece of my heart! Thank you
