South Africa was the ultimate holiday destination and gave us the most perfect safari experience. I cannot recommend it enough. We stayed in a private park in Greater Kruger and loved every second of our trip. We visited the Three Rondavels and did a boat trip on the Blyde River which I would also recommend.

My advice: combine a stay in a private game reserve, where drivers can go off road, and the Kruger Park, with its gorgeous wildlife.

Once in a lifetime experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We did a 5 day safari trip 2 days in Kruger and 3 nights on a private reserve at Umkumbe. Both were great. We stayed at Sabie River Bush lodge for the first 2 nights as a base for Kruger and although a little rougher around the edges, it's right on the river with a herd of hippos right at your doorstep. We were lucky enough to see them come right to the fence along with a herd of elephants. That made it all worthwhile. We saw lots of animals inside Kruger including cheetas up close, which are apparently rare to see. Umkumbe was much more upmarket and I recommend getting one of their luxury tents. The focus here was all about trying to spot a leopard, which sadly we didn't but we saw some rhinos, hyenas, lions and ostriches. I recommend both going into Kruger and doing a private game reserve as they're two totally different experiences. Brendon from Elephant Herd was really accommodating and didn't mind me emailing him with questions while

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day safari in Sabi Sands. Beautiful lodges, fantastic staff and of course seeing all of the animals, the Big 5 and so many more! This was a bucket list trip for my partner who will be turning 70 and it couldn't have been any more perfect.

Surprisingly, everything is relatively nearby in the Western Cape making sightseeing and getting around easy. The sightseeing bus is great value and it’s worth hiring a car too. Stick to the main routes and you’re fine. Very welcoming and family friendly, with loads of options every day. We will be going again - the food is amazing too!

My group loved our stay at HoyoHoyo Lodge. All the staff were gracious and friendly and our Safari Guide, Hali Mnisi was extremely knowledgeable about the reserve, the animals and birds. We were blessed by his vast knowledge and experience as a tracker and guide. The food was diverse (kudu, oxtail, ostrich) and delicious. We were very pampered.

Saw all kinds of animals on private safari in Kruger

We saw most of the "Big 5" animals and so many more just on our drive into Kruger National Park to Skukuza Camp. Our guide, Eric, was great a spotting animals while safely driving us. We are not true birders, but we saw many beautiful birds. Our guide was excited to point out some that were somewhat rare to see. We stayed in a "rondavel" or round, thatch roofed private building at camp. Clean, comfortable, a little spartan with a private bath, refrigerator, and some kitchen items. Our tour included meals cooked at the camp by our guide which were wonderful. Skukuza Camp is on the Sabie river with a bar & restaurant overlooking it. Large gift shop with snack foods, beer, and wine. Morning and evening safari rides in an open vehicle were cool, but with blankets from our room we were fine. We felt we saw more wildlife in Kruger with much less driving around a previous safari in Kenya. Safari vehicles are restricted to driving on the roads in Kruger which we preferred

Hi, We were in South Africa and arranged a Kruger Park Safari through MoAfrica Tours. Everything was just as expected and somethings were beyond our expectations. The transport to Kruger Adventure Lodge which is just 15 mins away from the Phabeni Gate was on time, pleasant (we had a good driver who even told us what to expect along the way), the staff at Kruger Adventure Lodge were absolutely awesome, great customer service and went out of their way to please us. The food was excellent, full of flavour, fresh and in good quantity. The rooms were adequate. The only thing I would like to see improved is the availability of wi-fi in the rooms. The wi-fi in the dining hall and the receptions was excellent.

We experienced an evening Safari the first day and an early morning to 4 pm safari the next day. We saw all the big 5 animals and more. Very exciting.

I want to thank MoAfrica Tours for excellent arrangements, the Kruger Adventure lodge for their excellent

I cannot end without saying that I am super thankful to our Safari guide who went out of his way to find my cellphone which dropped off my pocket on the 119 by calling his friends and locating it resulting in me getting back my cellphone. Losing that would have ruined my holiday as all my trip information was in it.
