Beautiful country, returned home with beautiful memories

We booked some days in Johannesburg and some days in Kruger Np. We enjoyed every day. We loved Kruger NP and the wildlife, this place is so beautiful and always has something to surprise you with. We did experience a lot of wildlife even though we were not able to see lions and cheetah. On the way back to Johannesburg we spent a day to see Panorama route and Blyde river canyon, and Gods window. Absolutely breathtaking views and sceneries.
In Johannesburg we spend some days only for relaxation in Randburg. We only stayed in our hotel which was nice and safe. We did not feel unsafe in any case but then again we only moved around with a privet taxi driver.
The only negative thing are the drivers/guides in Kruger NP who lack of interest and they are not helpful at all spotting the animals or birds. This area needs improvement.

S A a vibrant colourful scenic country

South Aftica is a must see country.
Firstly for the wildlife and the scenic areas where the wild animals live. Absolutely beautiful and an unforgetable place.
Sabi Sands was my favourite safari park, as the vehicles went off the dirt tracks and into the fields where the animals were sighted.
The compound and glamping accomodation was inside the wildlife area, thus easier to be near the animals at sunrise and sunset when they are most visible. The accomodation and food here were outstanding.
Secondly, to see Johanesburg city centre (a no go area) and surronding area via a tour guide who knew where to go and where not to go.
Soweto and surrounding townships are full of history including the street where both Mandella and Archbishop Tutu both lived
Finally we flew an internal flight to Capetown and enjoyed a two day guided tour to Table Mountain, Penguin Beach, a boat tour to see the seals and a drive down to the Cape of Good Hope. Then we hired our
Read more own car and visited Hermanus, and the wine touring areas Stellenbosch and Franshoek. All were well worth seeing. Capetown is safer than Jo burg. Jo burg is mainly the gateway to the safari parks.

Some of them most breathtaking views of scenery and wildlife you could ever imagine

We spent 2 weeks. We flew into Capetown and stayed for 4 days then flew over to Kruger area. Love Capetown and all it has to offer. We did Table Moutain, see the penguins and went to Cape of Good Hope. We did a safari at Aquila which had more of the landscape we thought South Africa would look like. Over by Kruger we stayed at Hazyview. We did a 2 night/3 day safari at Sabi Sands. Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. Everything from the accommodations to the staff to the wildlife were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We also seen Graskof, Lisbon Falls and so much more. Still can’t get over the “million dollar views” everywhere you looked. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Highlight was seeing around 25 elephants at a water hole. Saw all bar a Leopard from Big 5 but did see a Cheetah to make up for it!

We had good accommodations and saw the Big 5, plus way more. Panoramic was difficult with rain and fog, but okay still

South Africa has the kindest people, and the wine country was unforgettable.

The wine country in South Africa was one of the highlights of our trip. The wine was some of the best we’ve ever had, the food was exceptional, and the entire region felt incredibly safe and welcoming. We would go back in a heartbeat. Indigo Safaris planned our entire safari experience, and every detail was seamless. We stayed at Rhino Ridge, where the lodging was beautiful and the wildlife sightings were unforgettable. One of the most memorable moments was enjoying massages while looking out a large picture window as elephants, zebras, and giraffes passed by in the distance. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A wonderful country, with wonderful people. Just don't have to use so much barbed wire!

We were lucky, 2 and a half of the 4 games were sunny, at the end we ran into the rain, but not as much as now, these days. The organization was professional, the accommodation, the transfers, the food, besides the big 5, we also had other, new animal-watching experiences. The only thing we were not enthusiastic about was the price of the safari tour. The prestige of Kruger is a bit overrated.
