I highly recommend visiting Tanzania for an unforgettable safari experience, and to see the Big 5. The people are amazingly warm and friendly.
I booked through Kilislopes and found them to be professional and friendly. I travelled alone but felt completely looked after and safe. The guides were knowledgeable and accommodating and the accommodation they booked was perfect in terms of service, price, food and comfort.

Amazing country, more than just the big five

We went to Tarangire park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti park, Ngorongoro crater, (and we ended our trip in Zanzibar).

Every single places we visited has different features, each places amazed us. We never get bored from the sceneries. We saw a lot of beautiful animals, not only the big five.. but also many beautiful birds (small & big). We were surrounded by various mammals and birds. Animals walks around and do their usual activies and completely ignore the human. We were also so lucky to also spot reptiles (like agama lizard, monitor lizard, pink spitting cobra, leopard turtle).
We stayed in lodge, and camp/tent, were great. We ate very good food. The touristic places has good facilities. Clean toilet in all parks with running water. Nothing to complain! Guides are knowledgable and friendly.
Zanzibar is such a beautiful small island surrounded by torquise water. We did Blue Safari, worth to do! Doing walking tour in Stone Town is also recommended.
Tanzania has many beautiful souvenirs. But, most of the shops do not put the price tag, the seller decide the asking price (much overpriced) the time you ask for it. So, we personally found it irritating to bargain for a descent price (not too cheap, but also not a rip-off).

Overall, we have a beautiful unforgettable memory of Tanzania trip

Tanzania is far more diverse than I expected. Wonderful people and a multitude of things to do

What a gorgeous country and people. We had a spectacular and diverse trip which we enjoyed immeasurably. 3 girls travelled most of the country and had no issues, met amazing people and had spectacular encounters. Don't moss this country and definitely don't pass up on the Serengeti balloon ride!

Superb "à la carte" trip

Hello,
I went alone to north East Tanzania in November 2017. I met a group of amazing US tourists there, I traveled with them to Tarangire national park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
Amazing trip, with amazing people in an amazing region. I can only recommend it, just be careful of the tips you need to give on a daily basis to locals (driver, guide, cook... around $10/person/day), which can increase your budget travel quite significantly.
Before traveling, don't hesitate to ask for some pictures to the places where you will sleep, huge differences between public camp, private camp and lodges in terms of comfort.

Plentiful wildlife, stunning scenery but expensive destination.

I was surprised with the abundance of wildlife in Tanzania. I’ve been to Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti NP. The scenery is amazing. The endless plains of Serengeti are nothing but unforgettable. I went in december and it was really hot, but since I’m used to hot weather It was totally bearable for me. The drawback in my opinion is that you pay a lot of money for simple and sometimes really bad accommodation and the lunch my tour operator gave me every day was really terrible. In the last day I couldn’t eat anymore. My guide was knowledgeable but was rather shy and didn’t speak much unless provoked. Also he never sat to eat with the group what seemed to me as an antisocial behavior. So for the price paid I think The service could’ve been far much better.

For a weekend trip, planned in 2 days, this was a good trip. Beautiful scenery, perfect weather, managed to see 4 of the big five. Transport and accommodation as expected.

We were lucky, for 1 day we saw almost all the animals that live in the park. Excellent guide Bob - the most daring of the guides, drove us to the car to the lioness almost immediately. We arrived at 9 am, at 13.00 we had lunch, and after that we continued the safari until 4pm. Lunch cost $ 5 per person. The road from Dar-es-Salam was very dangerous, a lot of wagons with cargoes, our driver many times went to a meeting and miraculously we managed to avoid a collision. This part of the safari - very spoiled the general impression. On the way back, the gasoline ran out and the driver did not have any money with him, he asked us to throw off him for gasoline $ 5. Nobody returned them, of course.

Amazing scenery with more wildlife animals you could wish for

Wildlife: amazing! We saw the big five and many more. Nearly every animal bit crocodiles.
Scenery : Ngorogoro Crater and surrounding area are breathtaking . Something you won’t see anywhere else in the world .
The Serengeti is very beautiful and unique itself . Tarangeri Nationalpark was nice , too.
Lake Manara was not my favourite, as you can’t really drive up to the lake , you only see it from a distance . Further up in “the jungle” we saw plenty of monkeys and elephants, which made up for it.
Weather: a little bit chilly during the night and early morning, afterwards very hot.

Accommodation- the tents were put up for us every night which was great, we just wished they would have told us to bring a pillow, they provide sleeping bags but it might be more comfortable to have your own for cleanliness reasons.
The campsite near lake manara , where we stayed the first and the last night of our 6 day trip was very nice (it’s called “Fanaka”) , the stuff was very friendly , you could even put your own drinks in their fridge, and there was hot water in the showers .
But! The campsite in the serengeti , especially the facilities where just terrible, so we didn’t have a shower for 3 days. I‘d recommend to pay the extra money and get a tented lodge .
Food was ok.
Our guide Moody was a very friendly.
