Tsavo East Park is Kenya's oldest and largest protected area, its, semi-arid plains and red volcanic soil, the park is famously dubbed the "Theatre of the Wild." It is renowned for its iconic "red elephants" so named for the dust they spray on their hides and its population of mane-less lions.
