It covers an area of 392 square kilometers and is famous for its large herds of elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Amboseli has diverse habitats such as acacia woodland, swamps, marshland, and a dry lake. It is home to over 400 species of birds and other animals such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
