Trip of a lifetime to see epic migration

The safari was beyond my expectations in terms of the scenery, wildlife. The migration is on a scale that is hard to describe in words. If you love watching NatGeo, you'll love it! In fact we barely used binoculars since the animals were so abundant and close. (Animals are so used to vehicles that more or less ignore them) We saw the Big Five during our trip. Only animal we did not see at the Massai Mara was the Rhino. But we saw several at Nakuru. Those two are the top destination in my opinion. Amboseli and Tsavo offer very different vistas and are also very nice. In terms of accomodations. We booked mid-level accommodations. Mid-level were luxury resorts with excellent accommodations equivalent to 4 star resorts mostly. I can't imagine it being better honestly. Regardless of your budget, the animals, the scenery are all the same. If you do want to "go big" maybe flying into Maasai Mara to avoid the bad roads might be nice. But the drive gave us a chance
Read more to see various towns and cities along the way and get a small window into everyday life in Kenya. This is definitely kid-friendly trip. (tho I would not recommend for toddlers or infants). Go for it!

We recently came back from an amazing customized tour with Africa MCflash tours in July. From start to finish everything went very well. We were pleased with all of our accommodations, the food, Safari vehicle, and the wildlife was incredible! I would highly reccomend a private tour with this company.

It was amazing the first days but the last were less intense

We enjoyed ourselves very much The wildlife and scenary was wonderfull. The weather was perfect. We saw a lot of animals, our guide was very nice. Thanks to his effort, we were able to see a lot of animals, some.of which were hunting. We even saw the wildbeast crossing the river...but only the first days. After that, the game drives became shorter and less intense. Accommodations and food was ok. We had a problem with the company, they comitted to do several things that in the end didn't do. Nevertheless, we loved every place we visited, mainly parks with different landscapes. We also liked a lot Kisite marine park near Diani beach. A great journey.

Worth every penny. Kenya is beautiful, the animals, the people, the countryside...

I love Kenya, and will return taking more friends and family. I split my time 50% in Nairobi, 50% in the Masai Mara. As well as staying in the city, we visited David Sheldrick Center, Giraffe Sanctuary and Nairobi National Park (can all be done in one day with an early start) not a rush you will see adequate. Our itinerary for The Masai Mara, Lake Nukuru and Lake Naivasha was perfect. enough time everywhere. Things to know - make sure you have snacks/food with you on your drive to the Masai - it's hours, ask how long things will take (then add an hour) - just so you have an idea, and be aware your driver may be on the phone a lot. Take many things to give away, toys, clothes, sweets/candy, shoes, jackets - as much as you can carry - you will regret it if you don't.

Everything about the trip was perfect

The wildlife and scenery were amazing - we were lucky as we got to see everything that we were hoping to see, including all of the Big 5. Each park felt different, whether it was the diversity of wildlife, the scenery or the weather, which made each park its own incredible adventure. While technically in the rainy season, we experienced almost no rain, except for about 30 minutes one afternoon in the Masai Mara (and even then, the raw power of the rainstorm was fascinating). The accommodations were very luxurious and the rooms were great - there were no complications with check-in or check-out, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. Our guide was incredible, and we were really happy that we drove from place to place so that we could see more of the beautiful country rather than just the national parks. In all, we went to Amboseli, Mount Kenya, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Everything about this trip was perfect and we would recommend it to everyone!
