I have just returned from my amazing trip into the Delta with Sarari Addicts , a small company based in Maun. The Delta is a vast and varied area .I went on a three day 2 night camping trip.on the 2 hour , longer if there are sightings to sit and observe ,transfer to a fabulous remote area of golden and green bush.Nothing to hear but the hippos and and calling of the lions. The waterways are a unique way of feeing part of the system, with my proffesional guide we glided throuh the channels of lilly pads and vegitation, tall trees in the background we are petfect way to see the variaty of beautiful birds from the small rollers and kingfishers to the majestic African Fish eagles , all framed by the stunning ever changing amazing colors of the bush, is a sight I will never foget. Enjoying sun downers and delicious meals served over looking a huge bend in the river was another. memorable experience along with visiting elephants giraffe and various antelopes. Any questions were answered
Read more by our guide who was born in the delta and to him it is home. Beeing in such a remore part of the delta the transfers were really another way to see enjoy the ever changing scenery and amazing wildlife roaming through this spectacular part of incredible Botswana. We saw lions, buffalo, more giraffe more elephalants many antelopes and the rarely seen wild dogs. The Delta is a living place and we were happy to meet the conumity of families, to whom it is home, who live in the village which houses the park staff and our guide showing that here people and nature can exist in harmomy. Thank you to Safari Addicts for this unforgetable oppertunity to feel the Delta from perspective of a Hippo to an African Fish Eagle.

Very large area and a large number of animals in circulation. We have always been on the main road and this has perhaps limited the possibility of seeing many more

I still give 5 stars even if we only saw lion from far away
In the Leopard just quickly in the evening
No cheetahs
But I must say because of the rain in the previous few months before our travel, the bush was too green, so it was more hard to see the animals…. So nobody’s fault..
But we saw a lot of elephants giraffes, rhino, hippos, birds, eagles, wild dogs, hyenas, and a lot of lots of other animals
I love the vibe of the bush

We done camping
I’m not at all a fan of a camping, but it was a great experience. It was very comfortable and the food was just great.

We went to a private game reserve adjacent to Kruger. What I liked about it was there were not a lot of people. I liked that the drivers were in contact with other drivers who had sighted animals, but we were only allowed 2-3 cars of people at one special siting. We were able to use the dirt roads and paths to get to places you couldn't see without a good driver. There were so many animals!!!

We saw most of the big 5 up close and personal and the guides were amazing at finding where the animals were.
