It rained all day on the day of visit, that limited our ability to fully explore the lake and roads were flooding, very limited ability to visit the park when it rains.

The birds very really great. I do not know many flamingos were there. Maybe 10 000. And the scenery was just great.

Lake Manyara had an exciting combination of an extraordinary number of different birds, and abundant wildlife that could be seen at close range.

Beautiful park to drive through. In the season we went, most wildlife was not in the park so the density was not high. Nice views and a different feel than the serengeti but hard to find good sightings.

We had a "poor" day in Lake Manyara in comparison to the rest of our safari days. The scenery was beautiful and felt like a jungle, but it also meant that animals were often hard to see. The flamingos were very far away to the point where you could only see them on the horizon.
