Serengeti & Ngorogoro Safari
I just completed a multi day Safari to the Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater, whichbwas amazing. Our guide, Steve with Suricata, did a great job of showing us the animals, and despite the recent (or maybe because of them?) the recent rains we saw many different critters including over 50 lions and cubs (several located right next to our vehicle), cheetah and cubs, huge herds of wildebeest, zebras and antelope, warthog, elephants, giraffe, cape buffalo, eagles, storks, hornbills, cranes, kingfishers and eagles, eland, hippos and rhinos! It was a fantastic experience, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals, environment, and culture of the different areas we toured (he was also an expert and safe driver). Our lodgings were great (including a night at a Serengeti bush camp) and the prepared meals were tasty and plentiful. I highly tecommend doing.

Amazing experience - A dream come true!
The 4 day safari was an unforgettable experience. Charles is a brilliant guide with so much knowledge - he is super fun, welcoming and made every effort to make the experience unforgettable. Also, a big shoutout to Samson and the rest of the team for providing the most delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and always making us feel welcome. The communication was great, and the crew went above and beyond to ensure we had an experience of a lifetime. 5 star!! Truly unforgettable experience.
I took part on the 4 day camping safari, from airport pickup to airport drop off we had an amazing time. Our guide Charles was so knowledgeable and positive during the whole trip we felt at ease with him and so lucky to have had him as our guide. The parks we visited were beautiful and accommodation was fantastic too - the sunsets and sunrises will be remembered forever.
Not only did we have a wonderful guide Charles but our Chef Samsun and his team provided us with delicious home cooked meals daily even when we were at the parks we had warm freshly cooked meals, catering to our dietary requirements too! — This team also welcomed us to our campsites each nights and made sure we had everything we needed to be at home.
We were well informed during the whole trip and updated regularly about our schedule for each morning, afternoon and evening. I would highly recommend Suricata Safaris and will definitely be using them again and passing details to family and friends! - Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!!!!!!!!!

I could not recommend Suricata Safaris enough. The communication prior to the trip and whilst we were out there was so easy, they kept us updated throughout and answered any questions we had. Airport pick up / drop off was seamless and we had a pre safari brief as well as a post safari debrief with a member of staff.
The safari itself was truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make it so special for us - the food (cooked by our chef Samson) was always 10/10, and our guide Charles was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about all the wildlife and was such a lovely presence to have as a guide. We could not thank them all enough!

My 1st Safari in Tanzania - and what a Safari it was
The safari with Suricata was the best one I’ve ever been on. I was picked up in Arusha, and we drove straight past the Ngorongoro Crater into the Serengeti. There, we went on an evening safari, during which we were already able to take in many fascinating sights and see lots of animals. And everywhere was teeming with wildebeests and zebras, just like you see in the documentaries.
We stayed at Dik Dik Camp—be warned, there’s no toilet paper, no hot water, and no electricity. The food was amazing. We were served a 6-course meal at every meal, and it tasted better than at most of the restaurants I visited in Tanzania.
The next day we set off early and went on a safari in the Serengeti until around 2 p.m. Then we headed toward the Ngorongoro Crater. After visiting a Maasai village, we checked straight into Nyani Camp. Here there’s a kiosk, electricity, and hot water. At night, zebras and buffalo roamed through the camp.
On the third day, we set out early for the Ngorongoro Crater. It looks absolutely breathtaking and offered us perfect lighting conditions, with ideal weather—just like in the Serengeti before. After the safari, we headed back to Arusha.
The weather was perfect, just like our guide and the excellent cook.
We saw basically everything, except for leopards.

Unforgettable 4-Day Safari – We Saw the Big Five and So Much More!
My sister and I did the 4-day group camping safari in March 2026, and we can truly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience was simply unforgettable.
We were picked up on the first day of the safari and also brought back afterwards, which made the whole trip very easy and stress-free.
Our guide Filex was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely dedicated and always tried his best to show us as many animals as possible. You could really tell how experienced he is — he always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals. Thanks to him, we even managed to see a leopard, which is usually very difficult to spot, as well as several rhinos, which are also quite rare to see. In just four days, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, plus many, many other animals.
During the safari, you go on many game drives, which means you really get lots of opportunities to see wildlife. We were amazed by how many animals we saw over the four days.
The food was also great. Fresh meals were prepared three times a day. If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or if you are vegetarian, that is not a problem at all — they take this into consideration and prepare suitable meals.
For the camping itself, we would recommend bringing a quick-dry towel, soap, and toilet paper, as these are not provided at the campsite. It is also a good idea to bring enough cash for tips.
Overall, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We felt safe, well looked after, and very welcome during the entire trip. We would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone considering it.

Amazing
It was truly an amazing experience, and the Suricata team made it even more special. Aizak was not only an incredibly knowledgeable guide, but also a genuinely nice person who made sure we had a fantastic time throughout all three days (we saw the big 5 and much more) Chef Tito was equally impressive, preparing delicious meals each day. Highly recommend this team for an unforgettable adventure.

Absolutely incredible
Did the five day mid range tour with Suricata. On e of my best travel experiences. Organization was top notch. From the pickup to Accomodation to food and the tour itself. There was never a minute where we lacked information. I think we got the best tour guide in all of Africa. Freddie deserves a Nobel price. His expert knowledge of the animals is second to none. Plus his jokes and very very warm nature. Highly recommend

Unforgettable Safari Experience
This tour was absolutely perfect! Everything was so well organized and it was just smooth! They handled all the admission fees, transportation, accommodations and meals. We were picked up from and dropped off at our hotel by Daniel and he was funny and great and it felt like we made a forever friend. He was so accommodating with the multiple stops we needed and super chill about it. We did the 4 day group camping and had such an amazing time. We only had 4 other people in the car with us and never felt like we struggled to take pictures or videos. Our guide was Luta and he was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, funny, patient and just a pleasure to be around. He worked so hard and helped make a dream come true. We got to see The Big 5! Our chef was Jeremiah and he was absolutely incredible! From preparing our breakfast to making and packing our lunch and handling dinner every day! He was friendly and helpful and patient! All the food was delicious and well organized. The entire crew made the atmosphere just so fun and relaxed. The camping was definitely an experience but I wouldn’t change it because it gave us once in a lifetime memories. Honestly I would say this is best for anyone looking for a real adventure without any chaos! Highly highly recommend this company!
