Best local operator, experienced guides and tour managers
We had an absolutely fantastic safari experience and couldn’t be happier with every single detail of the trip. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations.
Our guide was simply the best—his ability to spot animals in places that seemed completely invisible to us was incredible. Thanks to his expertise, we saw so much more than we ever imagined. He took us everywhere with great care, professionalism, and a constant attention to detail that made us feel safe and well looked after at all times.
The hotels were all full of charm, all with beautiful gardens and swimming pools, and spa options in 2 of them. Our night in a tented camp in the Serengeti was an unforgettable experience—especially when we realized that lionesses with their cubs were roaming nearby during the night. Truly magical and thrilling!
Another standout aspect was the picnic lunches. Every day we enjoyed beautifully prepared meals with tablecloths, proper plates, and cutlery, featuring freshly cooked dishes. It was such a contrast to the basic carton boxed lunches other tourists had—we could definitely feel a bit envied as they watched us enjoy our meals in the picnic areas.
The organization of the entire trip was impeccable. Linah, in particular, deserves special recognition—she was always quick to respond to every question and request I had, and her help during the booking and payment process was absolutely invaluable.
I 100% recommend this local agency. They work with highly experienced local staff and guide, and partner with top-quality hotels.

An exceptional guide who helped us see the Big Five and made the whole safari unforgettable.
We had an incredible safari experience—we saw the Big Five and were blown away by the unbelievable landscapes. Our guide, Adrian, made everything possible, helping us spot many other animals and sharing fascinating facts while answering all our questions. He also had great ideas, like heading out early for a stunning sunrise. Sleeping in tents truly gave us the full safari experience. A special thanks to Pascal as well, who provided amazing food with great variety and generous portions throughout the trip. They also went out of their way to surprise us with special touches for our honeymoon, which made the experience even more memorable.

A truly unforgettable experience
My husband and I went on the 6-day private honeymoon safari with hot air balloon, guided by Peter. Peter was a fantastic, knowledgeable (in wildlife matters and sharing his culture), welcoming and great guide - ensuring that we had every opportunity to see the animals, especially the big 5! It was our first safari (and who knows when we will have to opportunity to do this again), but the experience was truly unforgettable. Every accommodation made us feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. We went during low season so the parks were a little bit more calm, and the lodges were less busy - but that did not detract from the wonderful experience. Serengeti African Tours were exceptionally professional and we have no regrets about the choice we made. Very professional operator.
I did a five day safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro regions. The wildlife was amazing, more than any of my previous seven safaris.
Peter, our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and his driving skills were second to none.

Amazing!
We did the 5-day tour and it was one of the greatest experiences I ever had. We have seen every single animal that you can imagine, some from up close. Our tourguide Peter was simply the best. He was patient, funny, really informative about the animals and he had an answer to all our questions. We went on safari during the raining season and afraid we might not see that much, but this was an unnecessary assumption. If you are looking for a reliable company and an assurance to see the big 5, look no further!

Amazing
It was an amazing week. The Peter was really nice, knowledgeable and well organised. He was also the only truck who managed to not get stuck in the mud. We saw the big five!

Great Guide, Great Vehicle and Perfectly Organised
We did the Manyara Gane Drive and it was perfect from beginning to end. The guide was a great tracker leading us to a range of animals and gave us all the background information. Skdo parked in good spots to get pictures. 10 out of 10.

Beyond expectations
From day 1, Antonia was super helpful helping us plan this trip. She answered my million questions and explained everything very detailed to make sure my trip was just as I wanted and kept communication going the whole time.
Since we arrived in Tanzania the service we received from Serengeti African tours was 5 stars. Our accommodation was super comfortable, we had great food every day and all the staff always super friendly.
Our tour guide Gift was the best, he knew all about the animals and was always finding the spots to get us the best views. Super helpful at all times and always encouraging us to ask the right questions and making us remember the animals we saw.
Overall everything was beyond expectations and we would do it again a million times. Asante sana.

Amazing
As nature lovers, this safari has been a turning point in our lives. A unique and unforgettable experience where the animals come to see you, not the other way around—this is when you truly realize what real freedom is. It’s true that luck plays a role, but having such an experienced guide like Mathew allowed us to enjoy the trip to the fullest and have truly incredible encounters. My favorite moment was when a pregnant leopard calmly decided to visit us right next to the 4x4. Situations like that only happen when the driver knows how to handle the vehicle and always maintains respect for wildlife. He also explained every detail about the parks and was very open with us—we had a great time! A 100% recommended experience.
